This was a hard one trying to work out where ground zero was but after a bit of searching we finally came across it Thanks for this one
It took me a while to find it, although it was exactly where I first thought it would be, I just stepped over it.Unfortunately it looks like this cache has been found by muggles. The cache was open with all its insides around the place amongst the beer cans and the log was no where to be found. The cache has been put back together in its hidy hole but will need a new log book.
I should've read the logs before attempting this cache. Why oh why was I wearing an expensive new jumper and my work clothes?! Parked om the Stud Rd service rd and walked across to GZ. I used the long grass to get up to GZ. I got very dirty but didn't find the cache. So back down again for some thinking. I should've backed myself. There was no where else it could be. So back up again and found where I thought I had looked the first time.
it wasn't supposed to go down like this
our day was going swimmingly
we'd found all the treasures, seen all the sights
living the dream
then we got to the bridge
it was a regular old bridge, nothing special
but there was something under it
something not right
something with gnarly teeth and an attitude to match
the troll was mad as a cut snake
had we crossed a line?
trespassed on their turf?
whatever the reason, we had no choice
it was us or them
we came out swinging
with everything we had
our wits, our cunning, our socks filled with river stones
but
the troll was tough
stronger than we thought
in the end,
we darted
whipped out the treasure
and ran

Gosh, made our way slightly up here with good grip of the shoes, but halfway there the concrete got slippery!!
Be careful of the rubbish around here as there are needles everywhere!
Thanks for the cache!

This one has been on my radar for a while .. it was only when I arrived at GZ I realised I had already found it .. I recall it was a slippery approach, the log was wet but was able to sign and there was a bit of rubbish about, probably was washed up when the creek floods. Thanks Team ZACAATT for placing the cache
Took me way longer than it should’ve, just needed to trust my instincts! Great hiding spot, log book a bit damp but got it signed. Tftc
Oops factor - late log. In Melbs again to visit fam and spend time with good ol mum who lives nearby. This whole area was paddocks and orchards in the 60’s when we lived out this way so good to see a few areas of bush have escaped the burban takeover and been set aside. TFTC AND THE FUN Afave for interest!
Filing this under "you’ll do anything for a cache" - it was rainy, muddy, mucky...but I got it. tftc
Found by Rebel Acts
Out for a couple of hours caching with Omegaman1971, before we headed to the PI event.
This is one of the caches found today. After a bit of scramble the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks AngeliqueAnja for the cache.

Funny description and good location. Prepare to get dirty though, there is some mud involved
Wear something you don't mind getting dirty and some good shoes.
We came after some rain and it was slippery!
Good hide, no trackables but worth the search.
Muggle free day but they can certainly creep up on you!

It was a bit flooded under the bridge today, so we couldn’t get to GZ. We’ll be back another day!
Thanks for the hide, just a bugger I wore my favourite white t.shirt today.. I should never wear white on a day of caching!!
All looks to be good with the cache!

Out caching today before having to head up to Clayton to catch up with mates for dinner. All in all had a nice day with no real DNF's today. But all of this came to an abrupt halt when driving home from dinner as my car broke down.
Anyways thanks for the cache.

Lovely ride from Heatherton Rd to here through the wetlands and along the creek. We stopped not far from GZ to dip out feet in the creek.
Careful of the wary sparrows who have a nest watching over the cache. They didn’t know what to make of us sniffing about

Another sunny day and another quick find in this parkland. A quick goat climb up to GZ and a dusty slide on the butt back down. Hopefully stage 4 doesn't start soon... So far this was day 28 of a 365 streak challenge, hoping it can continue after this weekend. I think there is only 2 left in this area now.

Headed out on a Sunday morning walk around here and managed to stop by and take a look for this one. I've walked this trail before, both in training for, and when completing the Oxfam Trailwalker event that used to come this way. After recent rain the creek was flowing quickly and the area was a bit slippery underfoot. Nonetheless I worked out where this was likely to be and my hunch paid off. I soon had the cache in hand and was making my mark in the log. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Team ZACAATT.
awesome ! really good spot for it. me and my family were running up and down trying to find it! Had heaps of fun

On the bike riding and getting some caches along the way. Gps had me at a spot that I needed to get to. Fortunately straight to it and the good sized cache was discovered. The log signed and all back safe as found.
Thanks for putting this cache out there.

Leap Day...
The last one coincided with my 3000th cache, and I wanted a way of making today special without wiping myself out in the process. Well, what better way than picking up smileys on long outstanding caches?
Finally, I can cross Marking Australia off my DNF list. Now, how to celebrate? With a nice stroll around the park, of course.
Guessing where this one is was the easy part, with recent weather making things a bit mucky. The acrobatic effort just made it all the more satisfying.
Thanks, Team ZACAATT

Light rain falling and a group of "twitchers" decided the bridge was a good place to wait for the rain to stop. It eventually stopped and they moved on, allowing us to make the find.
I got totally soaked today. It was actually quite nice. The walk around the park was pleasant. It wasn't hot, it was very wet, but it wasn't cold either. Plus, there were no muggles arounds either, so nice for caching.
Yet another find that was where I expected it to be. Getting there however wasn't easy with the amount of rain that was going on. It was a bit slippery and I had myself somewhat worried. More on coming back than going up. But thankfully completed it all with no broken bones.

I haven't been out geocaching for a while. It is nice to get out and about today with my two dogs.
Lovely hide this one! I scratched and spiked myself while getting in and under. Had a quizzical look from a couple of muggles who walked nearby.. picked up the TB.tftc team ZACAATT
Out of my own today enjoying a public holiday. Really loved exploring this new park for me. Got to choose it and made a run for it nice easy find thanks for the cache
Sent Geojack up to grab this one, but he didn’t look hard enough. So up and I went and yep, there it was! Tftc
Out for a walk and to pick up a few localish caches. This was the fifth and final cache for the day. Once in the vicinity of GZ it was Mr Pooky who made the scramble up to find the cache and he soon had it in hand. Fortunately the Muggles stayed away while Mr Pooky made the find. TFTC and bringing us to this park and the walking track. TNLN.
On a caching mission with bubs, wife and myself. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely park.
Out with Crusty K9 today, and we enjoyed a walk around the Police Paddocks. As this was nearby, we were pleased to find this cache and sign the log. Tftc.
Having spent most of the weekend sheltering from the awful weather I just needed to head out for a walk. Deciding to combine it with some caches, I headed to the park here. The water was up though thankfully not over the path. A pretty straightforward find though also a bit mucky with all of the rain. TFTC
We may of approached this one not the intended way, but made for an easier access to the trolls hiding hole. After the hubby thought he saw a dead rat, I stayed out of the way trying just not to slip. The rat turned out to be a piece of concrete and a stick:) Luckily it was a quick find as the trolls look a little behind in their housework.
Thank you Team ZACAATT.
Thank you Team ZACAATT.
These trolls are cheeky little buggers in hiding their cache! We looked up and down in and out until we almost gave up. Geo-Son couldn't be convinced to get down and go home, but luckily he found it just before we left! Picked up the Van trackable. Tftc Team ZACAATT P.S Beware of where you put your hands, Geo-Daughter #1 found out first "hand" that there are some biting bullants lurking around GZ.
After work to find this cache before heading home. Walked with my rubber boots due to very wet day. Easy to find. TFTC!!
A bit of a cross-country short-cut to get to GZ from the last cache (largely to give the muggle huddle the slip) G' and I set to work at GZ. I took the easy route - although the brambles made this the less likely option as it turned out - G' tried the more logical spot, but not as easy to access, and came up trumps No muggles here for us thankfully so we didn't have to worry as we found, logged and rehid the cache Alas, there was no trackable though
Continuing along the track we got to Gz. Fortunately there were no muggles today. Having read the cache details we knew where it would be. Getting to the cache took a couple of steep steps but the cache was in the first place I looked. Thanks Team ZACAATT

The trolls know where the cache is hidden. They invited us to a get down and dirty party, so we know where the cache is too. Great fun had with Echidna44.
Out with BoabTree for a day of caching, we both clambered up to look for the troll.
Thanks ZACAATT

Out last night with Trailstevo on our Sunday night escape doing a few short walks and some drivebys in the area. Starting to feel the colder weather coming now in the evenings so we need to walk a little faster to get the blood pumping! However always nice to get out the house. Thanks for all the CO's for the hides, we had a fun evening out. TFTC Clambered up for a quick find while Trailstevo did some kind of moon-walking manouvre at the bottom!
Another Sunday night out with Gunks. Saw a patch of caches that we hadn't seen before, turned out some were very new. Found most. I struggled for traction as Gunks raced to GZ. TFTC
The trolls ate all our lollies in exchange for the cache. Oh wait, that was the kids. I have to bribe them to go searching in places I'm too lazy to climb. Whatever works. Although we just realised the child didn't write Kelshandra's name on the log. We promise she was there with us to get the smilie too.
Spent at least 25 minutes. Couldn’t find. Surprised me a bit that I couldn’t find as it’s listed as regular size. Oh well
Out and about with Happy Pants putting some smiles on the map.
Love a quick one sometimes!
Cheers for the cache.

Found this one after a little scrambling about but was fortunate to make a quick find with out too much fuss, thanks again Team ZACAATT for the hide and for the walk around the area.
A little bit of a scramble to reach GZ followed by a quick find. Signed log and replaced. Fortunately none of the passing cyclists noticed me. The only audience apart from the trolls were a number of Welcome Swallows flying and perched nearby. TFTC
Dare we enter the realms of the Trolls? Could we tempt the Troll to reveal their treasure? We were pretty sure we knew where to look, and after some careful footwork, the prize was in our hands. TFTC Team ZACAATT.

I don’t know how many times I have driven past this one but was usually at peak hour and no time or no place to stop. So with some time I drove over with specific intent of crossing off this cache and was able to find. Getting out was a little more difficult with wet muddy shoes in the dark
Thanks Team ZACAATT for the cache.

A little bit of checking the likely spots and it was soon found. Also saw a GCA cache less than 1 metre away. Thanks to Team ZACAATT for the placement and fun.
Who goes trip-trap-trip-trap over my bridge.... great fun finding this one, plus the bonus treasure!
That was a fairly easy treasure find for us on our bikes. And we stopped to have some blackberries on the out.
So we bumped in to Alanica again and glad I did. I don't really like poking about in dusty, grimey locations. But Master Alanica was very keen to show me where he found the cache to save me the search. Thanks for the cache!
I felt like a cave-troll crouching up there. Luckily there was no-one walking past. Even managed a dignified descent. Cache in good condition.
A nice quick find and an even faster signature on the log as I could here the muggles coming but could not see them and they were bound to ask questions if they found me. With the aid of gravity my careful footing turned into a scurry and all was good. No explaining needed today. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams

Passing by and stopped to grab a couple of caches and stretch the legs
Looked at the terrain rating and wondered but then changed my mind after signing the log as I came sliding back down the slope in my thongs, ended up running half way, lucky I didn't break something, don't tell MuggleWifeDoes

I really needed some fresh air on the way home from work tonight and I remembered these 3 caches had appeared over the weekend - joy! What a great excuse to visit this lovely area on a beautiful day. On approach I saw the T3 element and I thought "Pah! T3! Easy!" But on ascent I quickly found I could not get up! Ha! I found a better way and soon made the find, but on the way down, I once again found it quite tricky to stay upright! A great challenge, great fun. TFTC!

After finding my target caches for the day and while I was in the area I thought I may as well fill in the rest of the day and find a few more caches.
I was now on my way home and was passing this new cache, I wasn’t able to make it to the event yesterday but at least I was able to find this one today and it also fill my criteria of equal or higher then 2 D/T that I am working on at the moment.

There was a hype of activity as everybody's phones went ping at the same time. As the event was almost winding down Pinkpiggy7, spiffy-, Rabbitto, Riddell, surefoot24 and myself headed off for the hunt. A nice quick find in-between a few rain showers.

While attending the nearby event one half of the team joined the group that scouted the park out for unfound caches after most of the rain had passed. Finally the new caches were published so it was a mad dash to get FTF. We were fortunate to have one already so we just cruised around to the other 2 and added our name to the newish logbook. Luckily it was the fit Triton here
Thanks ZACAATT for the new placement.

Yay *FTF*.
Once the event nearby started today there was some exciting news of 3 caches yet to be published caches in the park to coincide with today's event.
Once these were published and I already had 1 pre published FTF I headed off with the group for these other 2 new ones. The rain started and stopped but not enough to get wet.
I climbed up the slope with Pinkpiggy7 but he was onto before me so I took it out for everyone to be able to sign more easily.
The 3rd of 3 FTF's today for me. A new record.
Thanks Team ZACAATT for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I was glad I was with a group of cachers to find this one. I could have reached it if I was alone, but having a few fitter people around who were willing to explore the trolls haunt than I am was appreciated. This was another group {FTF} , which is always fun. I appreciated the patience of the others, as I was walking at a slower pace than most of the others and they had left the previous cache before me, leaving me to return it to its hiding place .
