My apologies now for the repeated logs, this is after all a power trail of sorts, and as with my own, dont expect lengthy individual logs.Anything of note will be written at the end of the log.Needed some quality me time to help get my head into gear, so as the Geomissus has taken a two week interlude with the geodaughter in Victoria, I decided to take the opportunity to head out into the lesser travelled areas near the places I worked in many years ago, and also to gobble up some series I had been working on in the last few months. But on the way, also spend some extra time in my favourite location, the bush! This Power trail was actually just a warm up for my main target in Bathurst, around Peel Common, and actually only spotted this series by chance! The entire circuit was much longer than the 25-30k I anticipated, and was more like 50 by the geoAstra. What did really surprise me was the amount of traffic on the road, precisely what I was not expecting. The first few hides were tricky to pull over as they are doing a great deal of road work in that area, and a couple of others that I avoided as I was just a bit uncomfortable pulling of the road in those spots. But thats ok, had a nice visit to an area Ive not visited, but have been in the area having run 6 foot track many times! My favourite area by far was Sandy Hook, where I pulled up to have a refreshment break. No traffic there! After locating the hide, it was impossible for me to withdraw the log without causing serious damage to what was left of the log sheet.
Went for a wander down the road, and almost was late getting dressed for the wedding. TFTC
Tftc, found on the way home after mini golf in Penrith with my mini cacher & best mate coords out by 6m
I've had a love of the Cox's River and the western Blue Mountains area for a long time, so meandering through these back roads which hug the water courses and ridges was a perfect way to spend a morning in the Blue Mts.
Recent rains and run-off made some of these caches very hard to find as they were buried under sediment, while some of the roads were like outback 4WDriving.
Thanks for placing this series

We are back to enjoy another drive in this beautiful area and collect some caches. Many thanks for the caches here.
This is such a lovely area to explore. We took lots of photos and found some caches. Thanks Pandsa for an enjoyable day out and for your caches.
We are on a cachey 10 day holiday, starting off with 2 nights at Emu Plains to hopefully collect the new GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and some more of the Band caches north of Penrith. Then it’s 5 nights at Oberon to collect some of the many new & old puzzle caches that we have solved around the area, and also hoping to complete the Oberon Adventure Lab. After leaving Oberon we will be visiting Jenolan Caves, for both the caves and the Jenolan EarthCache, then heading to Katoomba for 2 nights to ride the Scenic World attractions (Railway, Cableway, & Skyway) and to do a few caches of various types plus an Adventure Lab. We will end the holiday with a stop-off at Wentworth Falls for some more caches and a couple of Adventure Labs.
Today we are travelling from Emu Plains to Oberon, with stop-offs at Medlow Bath and Blackheath for some caches and Antique Shop browsing, and will be taking the Coxs River Road route from Little Hartley to collect some of the "Coxs River Roads Rambling" cache series. This was our 8th find of the day (day 3), and 40th find of the holiday.
Continuing along the Coxs River Road and this one was next, and it was another nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC pandsa.

A quick and easy find on my way back to Sydney this morning which was useful as I needed to find it to complete my Natural Wonders souvenirs.
A little brown frog sat on top of the tube underneath the rock guarding it.
The log was a little damp but the waterproof paper was holding fine.
I dried the log and completed my signing duties.

Heading west today and decided to get off the highway for a while and grab a few caches along this trail. I parked nearby and after a short search the cache was in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Had a weekend away in Oberon with my oldest gremlinkid. Picked up this GC enroute to our airbnb. After stashing up on more lollies than we should have, we turned into Coxs River Road and picked up this GC enroute to Oberon. TFTC.
Tftc Pandsa, on our way to Katoomba, slight detour to get a few more. Thanks for this series.

Day 3. No.9 for the day on our Geo Adventure in the awesome Blue Mountains. This was a quick park n grab alongside Geo Companion, Mystic Seer. A fairly quick find and with admin duties conducted, the cache was returned back to where it was found.
Thanks pandsa for bringing us to this location. The thunder storm was the limiting factor in preventing us from finding more of this series.

Found with Chippyddd on Day 3 mission - Blue Mountains NSW caches. Lots of rain today. Hint is very useful for a sneaky hide. No room for SWAPS or drops. Almosy a park and grab but not. Both cache and logbook are dry. SL TFTC TFTH. Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher. Thanks and cache on.
#2224 Third of eight finds to break the trip between Sydney and Lithgow. Nice quick find. TFTC

It is our last day here, and as the ladies went to high tea, we went caching, and decided on the Coxs River Road. We had a great time touring the area, picking up 25 of the Coxs, plus a few unrelated, plus a trig and a cool GA movable. We've left enough for another adventure next time we're here! Thanks for placing this series in this picturesque area.
Revenge, Samuel missed this on his check, spotted by Dad on pass #2....

Made a start today on this enjoyable series en route to our local accommodation. Apologies for the generic logs, except where noted, which in no way detracts from our enjoyment of the series. Most were found in good condition and TFTC and the series pandsa
