My apologies now for the repeated logs, this is after all a power trail of sorts, and as with my own, dont expect lengthy individual logs.Anything of note will be written at the end of the log.Needed some quality me time to help get my head into gear, so as the Geomissus has taken a two week interlude with the geodaughter in Victoria, I decided to take the opportunity to head out into the lesser travelled areas near the places I worked in many years ago, and also to gobble up some series I had been working on in the last few months. But on the way, also spend some extra time in my favourite location, the bush! This Power trail was actually just a warm up for my main target in Bathurst, around Peel Common, and actually only spotted this series by chance! The entire circuit was much longer than the 25-30k I anticipated, and was more like 50 by the geoAstra. What did really surprise me was the amount of traffic on the road, precisely what I was not expecting. The first few hides were tricky to pull over as they are doing a great deal of road work in that area, and a couple of others that I avoided as I was just a bit uncomfortable pulling of the road in those spots. But thats ok, had a nice visit to an area Ive not visited, but have been in the area having run 6 foot track many times! My favourite area by far was Sandy Hook, where I pulled up to have a refreshment break. No traffic there!
Almost slipped over when I got of the car. Gave me a good giggle. Quick find other than that
I've had a love of the Cox's River and the western Blue Mountains area for a long time, so meandering through these back roads which hug the water courses and ridges was a perfect way to spend a morning in the Blue Mts.
Recent rains and run-off made some of these caches very hard to find as they were buried under sediment, while some of the roads were like outback 4WDriving.
Thanks for placing this series

Geotravels thought it would be funny to send me to the wrong post. He pointed it out and when to go for it and I shoved him out of the way and picked it up. Unfortunately this does mean it’s a find for geotravels. The score is now 10 for geotravels and 8 for me. Thanks for placing these caches.

I started the Cox River Road Ramble in March 2019 but stopped at 35 and 36 after getting a couple of dnfs; it later transpired that they were both missing. An early start this morning to drive to Bathurst for Christmas provided an opportunity to grab the last four in the series. There are certainly some stunning views along the way. TFTC and the series pandas.
Tried to finish off the Cox's Road Rambling series which I had started yesterday. Most attempted were found and in good condition but had about 3 DNFs for various reasons, addressed in the individual logs.
Another couple were not attempted due to timing constraints. Really enjoyed this series on another magic day for enjoying the scenery. TFTC and for placing and maintaining this series pandsa.

Back out for. Round two. But this. Time. With our trusty Garmin etrax 10. Last time the phone had us Running all over the place. Such a beautiful area and an amazing drive. T. Tftc
We camped at the Wallace Lakes rest area with the caravan, found a spot where we would not get bogged in with the copious rain we had experienced. This morning dawned foggy but with signs the sun would make an appearance. We started early and loved the scenic route we were taken on in finding the caches on this series. We saw many things including frogs, raging streams, kangaroos plus distant views of the mountains. Most caches were found after a short search though there were a couple we could not find. Thanks to pandsa for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
A fantastic series in beautiful countryside. Thanks for making this power trail. TFTC.
An early morning start and very smoky. Al to try and finish the Cox river series.
Really enjoyed the roads picked despite limited views. Heaps of kangaroos and even a wombat this morning. All caches were found quick and easy.

Today it was decided to take a run along this trail with ilook4geo. There we found a variety of containers in different types of hides and we enjoyed finding each one. The logs were mostly small in size, so were signed with both lots of initials. Thanks go to pandsa for creating this series. The views we had were mostly of smoke but we enjoyed the drive anyway.
It was fun rambling along the roads and finding this series of caches with goingplaces2. Views were very smokey, but we enjoyed the day. Thanks for this cache and the whole trail.
On my way home from a weekend away camping I was back to chip away at the rest of this series, the first section was great so I was looking forward to getting back into it and this also didn't disappoint,a really enjoyable afternoon a caching with some top scenery along the way!
Thanks pandsa for the cache

Found tyftc. Spending a day driving this trail after 3 days of state tennis tourn. Mother nature is just beautiful. Trying to beat a local geo to 1500 finds before dec 31.
19,245. Found during a weekend caching meander with minniek and GLISS!, and an awesome time was had.
Our first aim was to do the Coxs River Road series, and we finally hit the trail at about 11:00. This was the next one, and it was quickly found once at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks pandsa !!

After spending yesterday crawling through Tuglow cave, today was the slow and weary trip back home. With sore muscles and bruises, climbing out and back in the car several times to find a trail of caches was exhausting. But at least it was another 6 degrees warmer outside than it was on Friday when i started this trail.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Out for a few caches which have gone down since we were here last. Took nothing left nothing, Cache all good, good coordinates. 36 for the day. TFTC
I found the only wooden post with two small rocks at its base in the vicinity of GZ but no cache. This one may have been muggled.
Thanks for placing this interesting series of caches pandsa. I enjoyed reading the brief history of the Parishes of Hartley, Kanimbla and Ganbenang especially the connection with the Zig Zag Track where I had recently logged two other caches on the escarpment. Loved the rolling hills, green pastures, winding country roads and, of course, the fantastic views. Undertook part of the series jointly with Forereach (and Mrs Forereach) a little while ago. Came back today to complete the set. Another great day out although very windy at some of the higher locations. Please excuse the generic posts - its hard to be creative for each cache in such a large series!!
made a chance today to return and nail the rest of the mini series , some of the caches on this recent end the coords are a wee bit dodgy, some 13 to 15mts out (the one that comes straight to mind is a hanger in a oine tree 13mts is a lot when in a clump of pines [8]) but i found it in under 3 minutes)
Thanx to you for the effort put into the series in top country side
cheers from the Routers
is there another 10 for next weekend , i hope so [^]

Sorry about the generic logs for this series, but I didn't log these soon after we did them & I've now lost my notes for each cache.
It was a lovely Sunday, perfect for a drive in the country. We spent the morning driving along the route and enjoyed our day. All caches found with no problem.
Thanks for placing this series.

A now familiar hide for WaywardWoman and myself as we continue along this trail. TFTC
#4898- Out caching with thomo31. By now we had the rhythm of some of the hides so this was another quick one. Thanks
We used to come out here so many times during summers and camp down on the coxes, well, that was up until they fenced it all off and we could no longer get the camper trailer in to camp. We stopped coming after that. Easy find thanks.
For us this was the nicest part in this side road. A quick one to start.
