I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi martinm60This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Auch uns zeigte sich diese Dose nicht.... wie aich anderen cachern vor uns. Scheint weg zu sein
Another DNF. Alot of leaf litter, branches and the like, had a search but nothing to be found like others have said
A bike ride out to knock off some that we havent done- but like the last few posts no sign. Maybe lost
Sadly, after two of us searching for half an hour, we did not find the cache...
Found innstored caches to upload today, must have lost internet connection when I logged it. Go to the furtherest away and work my way back. Not a bad day for a wander and pick a cache, due to time moving on. I will come back another day and pick up the other one. Found using a Trackme NZ supplied Garmin Montana 750i GPS inReach, connected with Trackme Pro+ to the iridium network for tracking and 2 way communications, 100% coverage around the world . Thank you for bringing me to this area martinm60 and for placing and maintaining Te Awa - Arikirua Pa (Waikato) geocache from Mr Cuddly Brick Found on this awesome day the 7 July 2023. Replaced old log and bag which had turned to mush. Lovely weather for a walk this morning. Tftc
School holidays so time for a tiki tour to Auckland to see family. Collecting some caches on the way. Enjoyed the walk here and no problems finding the cache. In fact found two although only one had a log. Signed and continued on to the next. Thanks for the smiley.
Out on the bikes enjoying the sunshine. Unfortunately neither of us had a pen, so etched our names as well as we could with a piece of bark. Photo taken of log, can send to CO if needed. Tftc
We found it but didn’t bring a pin so we had to be creative and write it in with a piece of bark. It is very faint, so you have to look closely.
GPS or coordinates seemed a bit off, but quickly found after looking at the hint. I like a cache which draws your attention to a historical or interesting place. Thanks!
This is a beautiful place for a walk on New Year’s Day. Cache exactly where it said it would be.
Visiting Hamilton to check out the new cycle path from Hamilton Gardens to Cambridge. Didin't have a pen so took a photo of the cache. happy to forward to the CO if requested. The geocaches are a bonus. thanks for hiding martinm60.
Catching up on logging as we found this one awhile ago sorry.
Out for a bike ride on labour day Monday with the family. Parked at the theatre and rode all the way to the avantidrome and back. A nice quick find at GZ, TFTC!

Tftc quick find, added a new waterproof log for longevity after other is full & silica gel. Over from the UK visiting family in Te Kuiti, exploring the north island and caching! So we're taking trips where we stay for a few days/weeks at a time before moving on to somewhere else or a few places before going back to spend time with family and back out again on another adventure. After some family time and some time caching with family that we introduced to the hobby we are off on a little adventure, starting with Cambridge. (Sorry for the very very late Log, between limited Data, some issues with our travel, some personal issues and a build up meaning the ADHD couldn't cope tackling these but finally getting logged Please forgive)- Sad to see this has been archived now
A nice day for a walk and an excuse to make the effort. Interesting place for a stop. Thanks for bringing me here. Quick easy find.TFTC
Started from the Velodrome, cycling our way to Karapiro today
Made the stop at the cache, and thankfully found straight away, thanks for that, when you are cycling with a group it needs to be a quick stop!
A fun find, and full of history. Thanks martinm60 for the hide

Violet and Demi found it. Old logbook now seems to have formed into a logball TFTC
We found a little blue rubber cat next to cache and have put it in the cache as we assumed that where it's meant to be. Log needs some TLC as the paper in the plastic bag is sodden. There's a page that is drier not in the plastic bag tho. We've been meaning to bike the track to get the last 2 caches in Cambridge area we havent done yet... 1 down 1 to go .... hopefully today is the day !!

It has been a long time since Team SEAC did a numbers day, so we jumped on the chance to join when Keylev initiated this day. We started at 8 am and got home around 11 pm, and attempted most caches in Cambridge, Te Awamutu and finishing with a night cache in Huntly. On our mission today was Keylev, UncleSamNZ, Liverkiwi, Draffin, B4Dawn and HeMaLuDy. Caches were signed with SEAC to save space.
Thanks to Draffin who happened to have a spare container with her, so the log and bag we found are now in a container.

My first full day with Team SEAC! Very excited and a little intimidated! Very fun!
Found the log but no container. Replaced container and co informed tftc

It had been quite a while since Team SEAC had been on a caching road trip together so a plan was hatched for a day trip to clear out Cambridge. It was a long but fun day, as we cleared out Te Awamutu as well, with the promise of not leaving it so long before our next roadie. All caches were signed SEAC to save space.
This was find #37 for the day. There was no container, just a ziplock bag with soggy log book. Luckily I had a spare container and waterproof paper to replace, TFTC!

A number of Team SEAC banded together for a road trip day out targeting Cambridge and surrounds and ending up with a night cache. As per usual there were laughs, dramas, cache finding and a generally fun day!
Found the soaking wet log book in a bag with the pencil and two erasers both under a piece of wood but no cache container. Luckily Draffin was organised and had a spare with her so we put it all inside along with a new piece of waterproof paper. I have a picture of it if CO would like it.
Thanks for the cache.

Like the Willy Nelson song, Team SEAC were On The Road Again. It had been quite a while since we had gathered to go on a road trip, so a trip to Cambridge was organised to clear out that town. All logs signed as S.E.A.C to preserve log space.
Once we figured out which order to look at, we quickly found the cache. Only one small problem, the container had gone leaving only the soggy log inside the bag. Luckily one of our team had a replacement container on them that would do the job just nicely. Log signed and the cache replaced, we headed off to the next cache.

Out on a caching adventure with my Geocaching buddies - Team Seac from Auckland.
Unfortunately this cache has been muggled.
The container was missing but fortunately the contents were still there although they had been strewn over the ground and the log was soaking wet.
We managed to sign the log and dried it out as best we could.
We have placed the log and what is left of the contents under a piece of wood but this will need maintenance.
A really interesting spot though. We enjoyed reading the info board and imagining what the area waa like back then.

Found this cache uncovered and very wet on the inside. Log book not usable but last finder left a piece of paper that, although damp, I could still sign, not sure how long that will last though. I left the cache well covered.
One of a dozen or so caches we (pinocchio and tbird) found in the Cambridge area this afternoon. Enjoyed the walk alongside the river to the velodrome. We located this one without difficulty. However, as stated in pinocchio’s log, the cache was very wet and unsignable. A photo is included with her log. #3806. TFTC.
Out caching in Cambridge this afternoon with my elderly brother and we ended up walking along this walkway to the velodrome where we finished the adventure lab cache. It was a lovely walk, highlighted by picking up caches along the way. This log is thoroughly wet and I couldn’t write in it. Photo included, TFTC
Out for a walk along Te Awa with family. Quick find, but log very wet, as noted by previous finders. Could not sign, so took photo. Tftc!

A quick find after the muggles walked on. Tipped out the water and signed the damp log book.

Making the best of some beaut spring weather to ride again on this great trail with a group from Katikati. Nice ride in the morning followed by an even nicer opportunity to pick up some geocaches on the way home. Easy find here and cache is all good. Really interesting signage. TFTC
#683. Mr and Mrs Northwood ventured forth again to walk from the velodrome to Cambridge and back. Got lucky with the weather, and with the cache hunting.
We stopped to read about the site and make a quick find. All in good order. TFTH.

Went for a walk with Polargirl, the two geodogs and 2 year old. A really interesting piece of history we weren't aware of and amazing to see it so preserved.
Great day for geocaching. Doing the trail along here for the wonders of the world and the souvenir. Good easy finds. Lots of people out on bikes today. Tftc
Another great find on the trail with woolwood9

A nice walk on a sunny but cool morning. River still very low. Straightforward find. Thank you for the placement.
Enjoyable ride along the river path on a sunny morning after spending yesterday at the velodrome. Thanks for the interesting history lesson!
A Leap Day find for me today. I'm out running and caching while my son plays cricket. Thanks for the cache.
