The final straw... Council has chopped down 50% of this beautiful tree.

Thankyou to everyone who visited here, it was harder than it looked for most, finding the wrong cache. But Im not a stickler for those things, we're just having fun.

20-Jun-20
I'm not even sure if I found the correct one. It had "official geocache " written on the outside and I found it at the bottom of the tree. I could see some fishing line tied in the tree that I assumed was where the cache once was. Please let me know if I found the correct one haha if not I will return to correct my mistake.

25-May-20
Enabled because its safe to find, but hope people are sanitising before touching anything.

20-Mar-20
Checked again and it was once again muggled. But the cache is still hidden so keep looking.

08-Mar-20
Storm damage again. Ggrrrr

** Please note if you don't sign the logsheet you can't say you found it. That's why it has a higher difficulty rating.

08-Mar-20
Well today I discovered the culprits damaging my hides - the Cockys (hundreds of them). I have now resorted to plastic cable ties, therefore making your job harder... Also the caches have been reinforced with little noise makers. No need to remove the caches from their spot just tap on it first to see if it sounds like a logsheet.
I have replaced the Logsheet today, and if your name isn't on it then you haven't found it.
So, how fast can you find the Logsheet?

08-Mar-20
Maintenance done (again)

07-Mar-20
Found it but unfortunately no log paper to log. This cache need to replace. Thanks KnoAngel for placing it.

We found a nice little hidy spot upon a nice sunset walk, couldn't find the one containing the log sheet however

27-Feb-20
This cache is back in business, after replacing the containers to where they should be.

27-Feb-20
Sorry for any inconvenience but better to be safe and sound for the enjoyment of the next finder.

25-Feb-20
I was very surprised to of found GZ had been either muggled, or all my tubes had fallen off the tree! Yes we've had some windy days, but its never done this before. I was able to find a few scattered around, but will have to replace some also.
Doing maintenance doesnt bother me, its all part of the game.

24-Feb-20
I was tricked more than once but after a little bit of thought I found the real one eventually. TFTC

15-Feb-20
I was walking the dog after a huge storm yesterday and was happy to see GZ was still in tact.
Please remember to avoid if any muggles are around, take a walk and try again later.
Thanks kindly for your great comments, it makes my day knowing your happy too.

Caching in the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.

Cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out with jascat and my 3 geo kids on our 1st year cacherversary trying to find the remaining 25 caches we need to co-incide with our 500th find. We left home at 9.45am and returned at 4pm.

The kids once again opted to stay in the car here. They were tired from the morning along the power trail nearby. I make the walk up to GZ with jascat. She stands back and watches on as she has already found this one last year.

Well what a little bit of fun to be had here. It didn't take long for me to isolate the container and sign the log.

Cache and log in good condition.

Pretty purple flowers growing on a nearby tree as we walked back to the car to make our way to the next cache on our mission.

Thank you for the cache here Dvynanjl

Plans were made with My good caching mates omegaman1971 and Trailrunning to do the new Thompsons road series and other caches in the area, we had a great day out caching with quiet a few find and lots of laughs along the way, we even bumped into Ozhokey Chic and Atsmung doing the bike trail.

Thanks KnoAngel for the cache.

Rebel Acts and Omegaman planned to do a bike trail on the weekend and kindly asked me to come along. We had a bit of a hiccup at the start with essential equipment missing, but in the end, we had a great day and found many more than we expected. Laughs all day made the journey so much fun. Thanks.

Out and about putting some smiles on the map with Rebel Acts and Trailrunning in an area that I haven't been in awhile.
Had a great day filled with lots of laughter and catching stories.
Cheers for the cache

I had the place to myself, except for a gardener and what I thought was his assistant. Turned out it was lowlife that was just bothering him and took a lot of interest in my car. That was until he saw a 6 foot guy striding fast towards him with long hair flow out and he took off dam fast.

Went to the obvious hide and saw a few interesting items that caught my eye. With in 5 minutes, I was signing the log and heading back to the car before the guy could come back. When in the car, the storm hit on the way home, and boy did the temperature drop

Thanks for the cache Dvynanjl

Needed a cache today and as we were in Cranbourne this was the nearest. After reading some of the logs,I had an idea of how this was going to go. Sure enough as I approached GZ my idea was proven. So I started looking. Hmm they kept popping us everywhere. The park was deserted when I visited but now it suddenly got very busy. Don't know what passersby thought. Anyway spied the container that I needed. Signed the log and was thankful that I had no smell, so did not have to be concerned with the dead moggy or rabbit nearby.
Thanks for the cache Dvynanjl

A look of despair was evident on my face as I approached gz.
A micro in this sort of tree? No thank you.
I was soon relieved, however, as the cache was quickly spotted.
But are things ever that easy?
A twist was introduced and the hunt continued.
Fortunately, things weren't quite as long-winded as they appeared, as some logic and looking was applied and the cache was in hand!
Thanks for giving us this very cheeky experience, Dvynanjl!

Clearly there has been a lot of work gone into this one.
Needless to say, I think it took us the maximum amount of time to find.
Thanks again Dvynanjl.

Gunks and myself back out for a night of caching. Hoping for a decent walk, the heaven's opened the moment we stepped out the car, so it was quickly changed to drivebys. Cleared up a bit later. Quick find as coords pretty good. Found it. TFTC

Out tonight with Trailstevo on our Sunday night adventure. Having spent some hours punching in “locations around Melbourne”and “weather” and studying the %chance of rain, Cranbourne and Hallam it was. We were going to walk but decided on a few drivebys and some short walks. Managed to dodge the rain, so the research paid off, and double figures of cache tonight too. Thanks for all the fun. Cheers.

Found your cache today. Good trick fav from meDvynanjl, thank you so much for placing it.

We had a quick trip to Cranbourne to pick up something we’d bought on line. I was two caches from the minor milestone of 4400, so I wanted to take advantage of being in an area with caches I hadn’t found yet-a real problem at home on Phillip Island. There were two caches in a nearby park that we didn’t have to battle lots of traffic to get to. I left this to be the milestone cache as I know the CO and nurtured her in her early days of Geocaching, especially with solving puzzles at one of my workshops.
The specs were right on. It took quite a while and some lateral thinking to work out where the cache really was! I love a bit of a challenge! Thanks Dyvynanjl for the fun part of the afternoon!

Found this cache late on a Saturday arvo. No sports on today so no muggles. Parked the car and after a short walk found the container ok. TFTC. SL. took a small badge and left a few small swaps. Thanks for putting a cache in this nice little park. Cheers.

A cricket match was taking place here on Easter Sunday. A bit late in the year but they were having fun.
At GZ we fell for the old trick and thought that was easy. No no no. Further investigation was needed. Log signed and all back safe again.
Stayed a little while longer to watch a bit more Indian cricket.
Thanks Dvynaji

Let’s get physical, physical
I want to get physical
Let me hear your body talk

You could say I got a physical workout here today. I’m not sure I burnt many calories though, but I did get the reward of this cache.

*11 Mar 2019, Found @ 5:45 pm, Find # 9019.*

I had to drive passed this one so why not stop for a look. I headed over to GZ and spotted something and thought that’s odd as it’s very visible but then a few other things also caught my eye, I then knew that something was a bit fishy but anyway the cache was found and the log was signed.

**Thanks to Dvynanjl for placing this cache.**

Came here with the Geokids on my birthday and we had a really good time trying to find this one. We ended up leaving with a ladybug friend.

Apologies for the late log. As I scanned the caching map (in mid-May) for a possible target in range from work I noticed this very familiar looking one showing as unfound and realised that I had forgotten to log it. Not an unfamiliar scenario for me as I'm often behind in logs but unfortunately I had no note of the date that I had been here previously. I headed back to GZ and at least did remember where to look making it a lot quicker than my previous bumbling visit. I unrolled the log to see that I had indeed signed this one over two months ago! Logging now backdated to 1st March. Took nothing, left nothing signed log and visited some trackables originally. This time I just stashed it back in place after the check find. Thanks for the cache Dvynanjl.

**FTF**
**Traditional Cache Find #2311**

A FTF hunt was the last thing on my mind this evening. I had washed the dinner dishes and was preparing to settle in for the night when my phone announced the arrival of a new email. I saw this one and couldn't believe how close to home it was. Should I walk or ride my bike? I decide to drive. Razz Why risk missing out on a FTF just to get some exercise? AmIRite?Wink
Thankfully, the oval was deserted and a quick find ensued. I scrawled my name into the blank log, put everything back the way I found it and headed home.
I think this is my fastest FTF to date. Big Grin
