Natimuk is a great town to explore. Awesome area to stop and relax. Off to do some adventure labs. Nearly gave up. Going around and around. Finally found being vertically challenged had to climb. Thanks for the enjoyable experience. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

The second of a 4 day adventure with Robmc. Today we travelled from Mortlake to Apsley via the southern grampians and then east towards Horsham, picking up select cahes along the way. There was some muggles with kids nearby as we approached. I did my usual thing and wondered over and introduced myself and told them exactly what we were doing. Parents always appreciate that, and today was no different. Then the search began in ernest. Until finally I struck upon something that matched the clue, and ta dah! There it was. TFTC!

Such a creative structure. We fiddled with it for ages.

A very unique little public area. I’ve never seen it quite done like this before.

Geobabe made the clever find.

A big day of driving definitely requires at least one cache stop! This sculpture was it! I think I was expecting to find the why, but very cool either way! I have so many questions, but I like it! Great spot and sculpture! TFTC

What a fantastic sculpture. Without the Ad Lab and caches, would not have stopped here. Cache found by my eagle eyes friends, who love to cache with me... sometimes, as they're not addicts...

Three day Melbourne Dash
Day Three: Melbourne to Gumeracha
Weather: amazingly cool after yesterday, with light rain in Victoria.

These hides are often a big challenge, and I’m a bit pressed for time now, but I walked over for a look, and made a quick find. I couldn’t extract the log, and so walked back to the car where the TOTT was. There are some 2022 entries in the log!! Is this the original cache that had supposedly gone missing (? cache creep), or has Duntulum recycled a log? I’ve replaced it where I found it and will seen the CO a message. Sadly didn’t really have time to see if I could find a second cache.

Thanks for these Natimuk caches Duntulum.

Two caches in town and I couldn’t find either of them!! I’m going to blame the very annoying mosquitoes some of which were big enough to carry me away!!
At least I was able to complete the local Adventure Lab
At least I got some joy out of looking at the nearby artwork.

TFTC duntulum
Keep smiling

Find# 2661

I found Natimuk Sculpture today.

I am pleased to say we can finally change this blue sad face into a yellow happy face. According to the logs, last time we were there it was missing anyway so no hard feelings. However this time we searched high and low over and over until we finally found this small thing that we were looking for. It wasn’t at all where I expected it to be. We were trying far too hard.

Many thanks Duntulum for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.

14-Sep-22
The day started the same way it would end - with a DNF. We spent some time looking without luck. Too good for us today.

03-Sep-22
Couldn't find it.

18-Jul-22
Awesome sculpture, that is also interactive. The geo pooch enjoyed a rest and run, whilst looking for the cache.
Luckily no muggles around today, and finding the cache didn't drive me nuts, extraction of may have
Had fun with this cache thanks.

We were looking at this sculpture for another, thing and when we got back to the car realised there was a cache. Thanks For The Cache

25-Jun-22
Looking at this sculpture for other reasons and didn’t even realise there was a cache. A bathroom sticker gave us the idea to check the app.

04-Jun-22
I looked for this one around 2.5 months ago, but came up empty-handed. I saw that Maccamob had found it the day before, but I chose not to use a PAF option. However, the next day when we met up, I enquired about it and remembered where they said it was.

I wasn't expecting to be back so soon, but this time I was able to go straight to it, and wondered how I missed it last time.

My thanks to duntulum for the cache.I'll give it a favourite.

Found with fitzy_1965 on an interstate weekend away collecting counties.

Today ended up being a very long day with us travelling from Hamilton to home (Goulburn) ….arriving after midnight. The motel we found was one of the best we have stayed in to date. I’d definitely like to come back again soon. We collected the rest of the counties that we wanted along with more adventure labs and virtuals in some fabulous locations. A much nicer day for travelling and caching today.

Of the caches we tried, they were found quickly and easily. Thanks so much to each and every CO.

28,077. Found with minniek during a caching run down to Ballarat and southwest Victoria in general.

Day 3. After staying overnight at a really lovely and well maintained motel in town, and munching down on Kebabs, Banana and Pineapple Fritters for dinner from Chris's Kebab and Grill, we headed out bright and early to continue our SouthWest Loop picking up some Local Government Areas/Counties as part of our quest to finish all the Victorian ones this year. This was the next cache on our list, and we took quite a while to locate it - and even then iy was a bit by accident having felt there before. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on our way.

Thanks duntulum !!

19-Apr-22
On the way back to Wooroonook Lakes from Little Desert, we stopped here to admire this unusual sculpture.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Duntulum

26-Mar-22
Found at 12:01 PM GAFF4.
No nuts involved in this cache find! Totally derailed our thinking Sad
Thanks Duntulum.

20-Mar-22
I was in town for the Adventure labs and gave this one a good look while here, but failed to find the cache. I noted that Maccamob found it yesterday, so I know it must still be there. I considered using the Maccamob hint line, but thought that it was so well hidden that it would be cheating to get help.

So DNF it is. Thanks to Duntulum for placing the cache.

19-Mar-22
Found by Mary and David at 14:50. Came here to do the Adventure Labs, but wait, there are others here as well. This one took too long but we got there in the end. Gets a FP. Our thanks to Duntulum.

Find # 10672

Found while heading home from a SA trip with sharkiefan.

We had based ourselves in Millicent for a few days making the most of a long weekend.
We got a lot of adventure labs finished and also gained some skills with the new fishing pole. Getting about 25 caches out of trees to sign.

It was a great trip back to SA after a 2 year break (due to covid restrictions)

Found this one while doing the ad lab here.
Thankfull no muggles were close by or using the park.

Was checking this out for cache owner, as had a few DNF’s.
Think he may have just replaced it, as I soon found it and was able to log the F2F of the new log.

Many thanks Duntulum but today was not my day!
I will have to return another day to try again!

You were right, it did drive us nuts. And we still came out empty-handed.

Cool sculpture, not so cool to leave without a smilie! We couldn't find this cache today. I'm not sure if we'll ever be back, but you never know.

Sadly no luck today on our way to the Wangaratta mego. We dropped in here for a leg stretch and to find this cache that I had been after for some time but due to Covid couldn't get here. We thought we got away from the rain but no it continued to follow us all the way to St Arnaud for our overnight stay. We search and searched, going nuts over trying to find the right hiding space. We search in, under, up and over but no luck. We will be back, this one won't beat us .....hopefully. TFTC it is a very cool sculpture.

13-Jan-22
Unfortunately not able to locate the cache today on our way to Wangaratta

04-Jan-22
An interesting sculpture indeed but the cache was found quickly on the ground by Georocks101. We placed it back where we think it fell from. Thanks duntulum Smile

I was rocking through Natimuk today,
and stopped here to admire this interactive bit of art Big Grin
I love a bit of art that you can actually touch,
and has bits on it that actually move [^]
All that tactility overload made finding this cache easy as [^]

TFTC.

A fun find well worth a fave dance Big Grin

Day #12 of the Birthday Bush Bonanza. After a quick stop over in Goroke over night it was off to Horsham and then towards Ballarat for the day.

Went a little nutty with this one but fortunately didn’t take too long to find the cache. Left pen in the car so returned to sign the cache and now off to finish the Adlab.

Thanks Duntulum for the cache and for contributing to the game.

11-Nov-21
We tried for this one while we were in Natimuk, but there was a woman with her child sitting close by. So we went and did other caches and returned later, but they were still there. Not wanting to jeopardise the cache, we left to go back to Horsham, and will try again another time when we are in the area. Thanks anyway.

05-Nov-21
We pulled up here to find a young couple sitting on the seat nearby and thought that we had no chance of looking for this one so we headed off and did the rest of the caches including the lab but unfortunately they were still there on our return.
We sat in the car while we planned our next move and there was certainly no sign that they were going to leave any time soon so we will have to leave this to our next visit through.
Thanks duntulum, we still enjoyed looking at the sculpture from afar.

17-Aug-21
Geocaching is leading us to towns and LGA’s we’ve not visited before. This was a fascinating sculpture in a very historic and interesting town. It took us a bit to find but we did sign the log.

Thank you for your cache and adding to our memorable road trip in regional Victoria.

A sculpture from out of space? Eventually found after a short (ish) search. TFTC

Now this is one out there sculpture. The cache took slightly longer to spot than it should have. Well maybe it didn't. A million possible decoys!!

Thanks to Duntulum and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]

*Staying in Ararat for a few days* Big Grin

Today I decided to head for Horsham / Natimuk for an Adventure Lab Cache and whatever caches I pass along the way. A beautiful time of year with all the trees in colour and everything lush and green. A lovely day to be out and about having most of the area to myself and I enjoyed the peace and quiet and solitude. Smile
A bit of a stroll, a bit of a search, made the find, stamped log and replaced again. Cool
My sincerest thanks to Duntulum for the cache. Appreciate your efforts.
**Warning**, *this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise*. **Beware**: *you may have fun*.

TFTC. We were in Natimuk to explore the Historic Buildings using the Ad Lab. While in town we attempted this one. We pulled up and Linda spotted the clever hide.Good thing it was quick as a mini van was unloading supplies for what looked like a party. WE were quick and escaped before too many people arrived. loved the sculpture for its uniqueness.

01-Jan-21
Thanks duntulum for the cache! What a great sculpture and a nice tricky hide.

Happy New Year, may 2021 be better than 2020.

This was our first cache of the year on the first day of this new year, and a long time from our last find way back in March 2020! Our longest slump to date, brought on by Covid lockdowns in Melbourne. Even when we were able to cache we just didn't get round to it. A new year and time to get back into one of our favourite pastimes.

Nice to be back!

Very nice day to see off 2020. The mind of the persom who made the host body is a little strange. TFTC, Paul and Brenda.
