Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying in Toowoomba while the caravan is in for repairs in Burpengary. What a lazy day we had today. Didnt head out until nearly 2pm. Just a few quick park n grabs was the plan. That mostly went to plan. We found this cache today. TFTC WallabyWanderers
Left Brisbane this morning with a Goal to pick up a few caches with a specific attribute attached with a view to nearing completion of a challenge cache Im working on. After finishing the climb, and the ascent I make my way back to the car and headed off to pick up a few trades in town and a few more on the road home. All were found quickly, log signed and returned safely for the next cacher.A big thanks to the cache owners for placing these caches for the enjoyment of others.Cheers
Needed to see a friend in Ipswich, and decided to make a slight detour on the way home ...Also, my Geodog Scruffy wanted to tick this one off as well All Good .. TFTC ..
I'm unsure if a photo log will do for today and I can quickly return when I have my writing tool...After work on a show holiday, then have a cheap hungry jacks meal I decided I needed a random cache for today. No particular reason, just today was a nice day outside.I like watching the cars crawl up the range. Maybe hope to spot a bike too...Thanks for a good spot.Log is on last page ...Tftc
Over in Queensland for a parkrun Event and we are taking the opportunity to do some exploring and grab a couple of caches. Out for a morning run. It was easy to get to this one, it was all down hill. It will be much harder going home. I reach GZ and checked the Terrain rating and thought I may be in for a climb. Luckily it wasn't the case. The log was signed and I was onto the next one.TFTC WallabyWanderers
Out and about with TBU1BIKESU and GS1947 after an event on 3/2/24 for more smilies. Tftc Wallaby Wanderers
We came today to join the TT Group hiking up Tabletop Mountain for an event up the top. It was the first time, and I enjoyed the views and the chats. After recovering and enjoying a lunch break, we tackled this cache .We found the cache, and signed the log. Thanks for the cache,Wallaby Wanderers
This cache seemed a little low for the difficulty. A quick find and I was off on my walk of Stevenson St. TFTC
Easy, I could reach it easily but unscrewing and taking things in and out was a little difficultTftc!
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Today we headed off from Brisbane up around Ispwich towards Toowoomba.
Stopped off here on the way up the mountain. Wandering up to GZ and was rewarded with some great views and a nice easy find.
Thanks WallabyWanderers for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Hi there WallabyWanderers, we found your cache Range Views 1 today.
Day six touring out from Toowoomba. Today we’re touring in town. Previous days have seen some great geocaching, and today is looking to be the same if not better.
We thought we wouldn’t get our large vehicle down here but we did. It’s not as big as some people think.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the countryside today, & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Good.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Lived in Toowoomba for 26 years and never even knew that road existed, TFTC!
When I lived here in the past
I would pull up here to gasp
Riding bikes up the range
(Most people find strange)
I'd wait till my breath lost its rasp
On my bike here today
I just have to say
I love the clue
One thing to do
Haul up the Old Toll Bar, hey!
A long day geocaching with ESCR in Toowoomba and (sometimes quite distant) surrounds. A good range of caches for the day, with a variety of TOTT employed. Did not get through everything on our list, but we were rather ambitious! TFTC.
Another fun cache. I’m definitely enjoying the range of caches out here today. TFTC!
We pulled into the convenient parking area and hubby went for a walk, the cache was spotted quickly and he was back to the car. SL TFTC
Geocaching holiday away with woolwood9 collecting as many caches as possible.

Great easy find the BFG had it in hand easy, always take the best TOT a tall boy
Sunday drive (yes, I know it is Tuesday) to visit my Uncle Dan in Toowoomba After our allocated time, we decided to cache around a part of Toowoomba that we had not visited previously.
We had our lunch near the information centre in the shade, we drove here for a great view and some great history. Interesting read about this road if interested.
Nice view, with a botanically latin clue. Just as well I can read backwards..... Thanks Wallaby Wanderers. I like the location

The people you met while geocaching. I arrived at the gz and frowned because of the attribute of the tree climbing.
I was walking around the tree and the lovely muggles around the street were pointing it out to me. I still could not see it and muggle man walked over. It was accessible for me (which was funny because the muggle man helped me reach it because of my duck syndrome).
Thank you WallabyWanderers for placing this cache for me to enjoy!

A nice quick find due to Mrs VC spotting it as we turned the corner.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

I’m claiming a find here. I’m visiting from Perth and didn’t have access to anything that could get me high enough but I have taken a photo if the cache owner wishes proof that I visited the site. Made the effort to get here so should be rewarded. Thanks for the cache.
Embarrassed and apologies when I returned here about a month ago. I for some reason thought it was suppose to have been at an location nearby as I knew I had to have a ute or ladder. Came back today said to myself after having a quick look at the other location I glanced over and there it was. Gave myself a clip on the ear. Got my act together, signed the log and now I have a smilie. Thanks for this one
Looking for something to fill in time whilst not studying, it was suggested that I finally get around to logging THOSE caches long found but never logged. Some even have funny stories of being visited not only once or twice, but a few even have had a third or fourth visit before realising I've been there and done that. The date is as near to the correct day the cache was found. So, sorry for the generic and late log.JABs.The full story can be found herehttps://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=c74de4cf-b59f-4ee4-9b5a-63ff0fc061eaI do know there was a race against the clock before another border lockdown.
I was here when it was a short time after first being placed. I thought at the time a ute or ladder is required as it was not far from the ground. Today with a ute and I see it is not there anymore. Owner will need to have a look. I have walked around the tree 3 times unless I got a bad case of blindness today. Note it had not been found for around 3 months

Lake Somerset Trip - Day 7
Leaving the lake and starting our trip home via Toowoomba and Goondiwindi collecting LGA areas on the way. This is our first find in Toowoomba. Another interesting location discovered on the geocaching adventure and the monkey did his job

I parked close to this cache but created a bit of attention from the neighbours and their dogs across the road so moved on to the next cache, they were still there on my way back......
Would love to claim this one but like so many others I'm too short and too old to climb.
Heading west to Toowoomba and making a few stops to stretch the legs along the way.
Stopped on the way up the range to admire the views and nab this one. Couldn't quite reach so lugged the TOTT over, two stepa up and Bob's me uncle

Today was the start of my little journey outback for a few days. While I’m not in a hurry, I do have a list of caches that I do want to collect along the way and probably some extras as I pass by. It won’t be hard to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day challenges for the next few days, I am also hoping to pick up a few new challenges along the way and some target caches too.
My journey sees me stopping in Toowoomba for a day and a night stay. While on the way I grabbed this one. I love me a tree climb and this one was a little tasking to get started but I managed to get up and find the cache. a fantastic place to stop and see the view below, thank you and a favourite point from me.
All good with this cache and with it found and log signed I returned it as found, thanks for placing it here now to continue on.

Well that was different! Have never had to do that before. Thanks. A good challenge!
Found the cache, but unfortunately was inaccessible to us due to lack of upper body strength haha nice hide however!!
27/6/20 Find #3794
NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co and I were on a weekend in Toowoomba for wombles’ 4000 milestone. But we still needed just a couple of extra caches before said milestone. We pulled up here and looked at this one. Hmmm... good thing I happen to have my telescopic ladder in the car with us. I took a short journey up and we soon had cache in hand. A little more fumbling from those below to find a pen and we soon had what we were after.
Thanks for the cache WallabyWanderers and Grand_Poobah.

Nyssaflutterby,1minniemoo and I were heaed to Toowoomba for the weekend, I still needed a couple of caches along the way to get to a certain number so we stopped a few times along the way.
We approached this one the wrong way then re-evaluated and headed round the other way, with the right tool 1MM had the cache in hand in a flash, though she got a few itches doing so.

For some silly reason my maps made me think we could get to this cache off the main drag..... stupid maps! So after pulling up and checking it all out we decided it would be much easier to drag our TOTT from the back road. Fast forward to a drive around the corner and only having to walk a few metres with 1MinnieMoo’s handy dandy, very heavy TOTT. Wombles and I secured the structure while 1MM did the deed. Team effort
Thanks for the cache WallabyWanderers

Spotted what we were after straight away. Was going to manoeuvre the car closer to give a step up but monkey boy shimmied up and reached the cache. Signed log and replaced, all good with the cache. Tftc
Very frustrating when you find the cache but due to old age and ducks disease could not sigh the log. Hope that this will be accepted. Thanks
Hubby should have looked at the terrain rating, thought it was a quick park and grab-not quite!. After putting on his adventure cape grabbed cache and signed lig. TFTC.
Yay! Glad I brought ladder today. Made the climb up with the tree trying to poke me in the face!
**# 25594** Found on our 2019 winter escape trip to Qld with Mrs Roosta.
A perfect Spring day for a drive around town again while at Toowoomba.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good safe hides.
Not a quick stop here and luckily I had a range of TOTT's. One was very handy.
Thanks for the cache WallabyWanderers,
