In Canberra for the geo Bach and team tackt took the opportunity to grab this cache, thanks for placing it
Find Number 2787 found at 10:57. Today we found 14 caches, 35 Adventure Lab stages and had 1 DNFs. This was the 5th find of the day Heading to the Canberra GeoBash Mega event. I decided to try for a few caches on the way. Another easy find, thanks to the hint. The cache was in good condition. We signed the log and replaced the container as foundThanks ALL7 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
It was an early morning start of challenge caches and then a morning CITO in a park. Next it was a couple of tunnel caches before a discussion of what was next on the list for today. I then managed to agree to work in with the Queensland 5 and collect caches in the Sutton area. We started off in Sutton however there is no going past a good pie shop and this one even had a cache just near it. Yep lunch and a time to work on those target caches of the area. logs were signed and caches replaced as found, a very interesting area, thanks for the hides and bringing me up here. There is a nice trail and a very easy road to follow for these caches so the aim was to get as many as possible on the way. I think this will also play with my OCD of not finishing series, which I hate to leave unfinished. A return trip or some late night planning is on the cards here. OH how to mess with peoples heads, lol.
Enjoying the pre Mega couple of days out in the countryside with our group, RoddyC, hatzofff, grannysmith1947, and Imbunda. To save space on the logs, we have signed as 5 for QLD.All caches found today were in good condition and a credit to the cache owners who placed and maintained them for our benefit ??
Nearly time to celebrate another Mega. Today we attended a CITO then it was time to cache with friends. All logs signed as 5 for QLD before replacing as found. Enjoying my first visit to these xouthern places. TFTC
Another day spent Pre-Mega geocaching. Today we are chasing caches along Sutton Road north of the town and across to Murrumbateman and down. Log sheets as "5 for QLD" to save space and time. Cool water!Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 24, 2024. TFTC, ALL7
Out and about after the CITO and a couple of tunnels.Caching with and signing as the group '5 for QLD' and having a great day.TFTCache ALL7
Reperio 07:23Day 4 of our weekend getaway to Yass for a caching run, and after getting a better night sleep, we were up again early to hit the trails. We managed to fit in around 100 caches before having to head for home in Orange, but we had a fantastic 3 and a half days away non stop caching.Gratias ALL7As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Found with barb2e on a day of "East of Murrumbateman" caching. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
TFTC. Out with the wife for a drive in the country and decided to bag a few caches along the way.
Quick afternoon caching trip with sjg66, many of this series are full of water and/or have logs that are mush and containers that need replacing. Still enjoyed the drive and the caching. TFTC.
Pulled over to avoid the passing cars and cache was right there. Previous finders path tag left for next finder. Tftc.
Back in the area to pick up a few more of this series.
Cache in good condition, signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, ALL7, for us and others to find.

Found this cache on a trip around our nations capital. Thank you. for hiding and maintaining this cache, *ALL7* .

I went a searchin' a cache t'day,
I looked and looked for that cache t'day,
A mystery did I say,
A mystery I did not find t'day
I did not find it in the bush,
I did not find it in the tree,
By this time I was starting to ponder,
could it be over yonder?
So off I went trudging over there,
but I could not find it anywhere.

Floating around on the hunt for **Aykayem - Jewel quilt**. Found while OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *DustyJasperJet*. All signed, sealed and delivered and we evacuated the scene TFTC! **ALL7,** Your efforts in placing and maintaining this cache are much appreciated.
Found -- 11:58 pm -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *ALL7*.
**Cache Condition:** Good but a little wet.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
**The Cache**
All good but was a bit wet. Dried using car heater.
Some of this series took a bit to find and others were spotted easily. With CIH we signed the log in either our names or our initials in some switcheroo form of LP, DJJ, ToC and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.
**The Day**
OCW *Little Panther* and *DustyJapserJet* on a much welcome and overdue camping trip for a few days at one of our much liked locations in *Gundaroo,* and tackling a couple of power trails and caches in *Canberra*. Totally enjoyed ourselves getting a better look at *Canberra.* Never had a need to venture the back streets but as usual, Geocaching takes us to the back streets which gives us the opportunity to see things we don't normally see. I really like *Canberra* and i've often thought I would love to live here, but now, I'm not sure I'd cope with city living, too much of a country girl.

Last full day in Canberra and decided to come out and do a bit more of the series named after cachers. Enjoyed doing the series and also the hot chocolate we had at the Chocolate place. Thanks for the series ALL7.

Decided to leave the home office and grab a few caches with Bobl27 to the north of Canberra. Found 8/9 caches looked for. All caches found in good condition and with lots of room in the log.

Day out in Gundaroo, Murrumbateman and Yass. Achieved around 90 finds for the day. Roads were busy around lunchtime, quietened down into the evening. Signed and replaced cache. Thanks heaps for all the caches in the area.
#1706 Found as we try to pick up the missed caches from previous weekends of driving. Soon I will be able to walk distances again and we can pick up caches other than drive-bys , but these have been a terrific series to see local towns, areas and pick up many caches. SL TFTC
Helped replacing the old or damp/damaged log papers for ALL7. Found all of them, except few missing ones which are replaced by new caches. She taught me how to do as a cache owner one day that’s why. Glad we had a lovely day and via first half-way, we visited the Robyn Rowe chocolate cafe on Nanima Road for a cuppa break. Lovely delicious handmade chocolates. Worth a visit there. Then on final half-way, we done the cache researching to the Casey Jones pub for a good cooling-down break with and .

Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

The Leap day weekend on leap day started with a fantastic CITO near the War Memorial with a great BBQ, then moved onto a caching run with Liz & Bruce from Yass to Gund3roo and back to Yass via Murrumbatemen. We actually made it to the afternoon event in Gungahlin. After Dinner I decided to have a go at getting to the max 9 cache types I would be able to get. This took me late into the evening with an Earthcache & Where-i-go in the dark, but was very successful.
Thanks.

This auspicious date had been marked on our calendar for some time so we were particularly pleased to get some direction where we could achieve some high numbers for this once in 4 year occasion. We teamed up with local geocacher Albida for a relaxed but unrelenting day of finding caches. Lovely scenery and great hides. Our thanks to Albida and to ALL7 for adding to our enjoyment of the area.

On today's caching mission with AngelG27, Fox in Jox and Flinstone's with the goal to find 250+ in a day to qualify for a challenge cache in the US we are planning to find, we achieved 280+. Mostly All7 trails in NSW surrounding the ACT. I was keen to reach 300, so headed out here to get some more. TFTC.

A beautifully painted treasure in here - someone will love it and it's vibes are saying 'good kharma'. I always read AKM's logs thoroughly - always a little gem in there somewhere. TFTC
I've dropped the GeoSchnauzers off for grooming this morning, and I'm filling in time before I can collect freshly shaved dogs. I decided a trip out this way is in order, for another string of your caches I've enjoyed the drive, particularly the bits near the Yass river. It's a great day for it and I have really enjoyed myself. I'm sorry for the generic logs, I don't have much time today. I have my lady's GeoCavoodles with me for the trip and a few walks.
Find no 10 of 25 today.

A morning CITO in Moncrief, and an afternoon CITO in Goulburn ... So I decided to go for a nice country drive in between, and find a few caches that I have been wanting to go and find.
TFTC - Yay - finally found myself
(I do have a bag, on which I wrote something like "Geocaching - getting lost, while finding myself" - lol)
The 4WD in the photo stopped beside me - the occupants wanted to check if I was ok... they seemed satisfied, but probably slightly bemused, by my explanation that I was fine, just taking weird arty selfies

A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. High winds, cold, sleet, rain, mush, icy, snow, we had it all! But we endured, and had a fantastic time regardless. Did I mention that it was cold? Bone chillingly cold. I am not sure my fingers have as yet recovered! Some roads were even closed due to snow, curtailing our route and resulting in some last-minute changes.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

A very chilly couple of days in and around the ACT with The Rats and Hoojar- most of the time the temperature didn't peak above 4 degrees! Amongst the sleet, rain, wind and cold however we made plenty of finds on mainly a number of power trails. TFTC!
Headed out for a caching run with steeba and Hoojar that had a bit of everything. These caching runs are planned months in advance and to-date have been perfect. This trip was no different – except for the influence of the WEATHER. A weekend in the Canberra hills that had howling winds, driving rain, sleet, hail, snow, frozen body parts slippery icy tracks, closed roads and temps that never got higher than 6 deg by day and were subzero all night, but alas we had a great boys weekend caching.
Apologises for the generic log but it doesn’t detract from the caching fun, except for the WEATHER which played a major part in our weekend. Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides.

Ironic that the first cache I find after finding the jewels is....jewel related. The first of 35 to complete the Museum challenge.

Staying at Gundaroo, so went along with goingplaces2 to do a caching run this morning to keep the tally moving. All caches had our names written on the log. Thanks to all the COs for their cache placements.
Today the weather had improved, so a caching morning was organised with ilook4geo. All caches looked for were successfully found. Each log had two sets of initials added before each log and container was put back into place. It was then time to move on to the next cache. Many thanks go to ALL7 for this cache placement and for it being a nice easy find.
Love these tribute caches - so many awesome people listed in them all. Cheers to Aykayem (and to ALL7 for the idea).
Rain wind ice and snow made our trip home from Goulburn an adventurous one today!! Out on the hunt for clues and jewels with KittyKatch and Joolay as we solve the Mystery at the Museum. Thanks for the cache!!

On our way home from the Oz Geomuster 2019 - The Gong! We had some time to kill and thought about smashing out a series or two on the way home to Melbourne. We followed the Australian Animals Series from Collector to Gundaroo - the weather turned a little nasty but we had fun anyway! Then we decided to keep the train rollin' along a few more dirt roads and backroad highways. Our thanks to all of the cache hiders for these cool caches along roads we'd never travel otherwise.

#15917. Leaving the ACT today and heading on home. There are still so many to do in the area that we decided we had better do a few more on the way out of town. Gathered up quite a few caches named after the locals and then did a few of the Outgoing Series on the Hume.
Been here 15 days and still not used to the size "Small" being such micro-sized containers. Quirky Canberra ways I suppose.

A decent haul of caches along a powertrail was the agenda for today or so the powers that be informed me . Along for the ride in micaparamedic's fourby we were joined by Earthbound Chief & Control as well as papi4506 and GeoTurtle56. Up and down, we explored what we Victorians would see as highways but what the ACT has deemed to be parkways.
A day of laughs and camaraderie ensued as we sought and found what the ACT had to offer by way of highway based powertrails with the odd extra cache in a shopping centre or puzzle thrown in for good measure. Chalk up another day where the haul tipped a ton. My thanks to the COs that have placed these caches for us all to enjoy.

Attending the Clear Water 2019 mega this Easter in Queanbeyan. Found with a group catchers and logged as "Lucky9" Thanks for the series and for placing it ALL7.
Out exploring with my MEGA team Lucky9. Having so many people searching for caches isn't the norm for me; I'm a solo bike cacher when I'm at home. Generally I try to find a cache a day where other life commitments allow. At this event, it was 6 full on days, caching from day break until sunset, and occasionally into darkness. Thanks again for the effort you have put into showcasing this region through power trails. Without them, I wouldn't have taken the time and expense to fly from Perth for the event.
Found with geo-friends and signed as Lucky9 during Mega event, thank you so much for placing it ALL7.
