After attending the nearby CITO event at Lake George, I went for a long country drive for another four hours to enjoy more geocaching adventures.I appreciated the power trail as I headed south back to Canberra I was usually able to find somewhere to *mostly* pull off the road safely Thanks for the cache, ALL7!
Barb2e and I decided to partake in the CITO at Arthur Guerney VC and then decided to come up here to collect a string of trads that we never visited before. This one we couldn't access the last time we were here because of roadworks. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Find#1970Found today on our first day caching around Goulburn. Me and Shaneo58 are down here to work on some challenge caches near home in the Hunter valley and trying to claim some unique DTs to fill our grid also. After arriving here we made a quick find at Gz. Cache and log in good conditionTFTC
Reperio 13:33Day 5 of our Capital GeoBash mega event trip to Canberra with Miss Vitruvius, and today it was time to head home, but not before finding plenty of caches. We decided to line up the caches around the Sutton area, which had plenty of high DT caches, and plenty of easier ones as well. This one was one of the nicer easier drive by finds today.Gratias ALL7As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Out here for the great GEOBASH with team T.A.C.K.T its going to be a big couple of days :3
In Canberra for GeoBash 2024. Had an awesome time and joined up with Happy Feet 1 for some epic caching fun. We tackled tricky puzzles, found loads of caches, and had a great time meeting old and new caching buddies. This is one of the caches we found whilst in Canberra.Cheers for the cache.

Find Number 2865 found at 12:11. Today we found 29 caches, 0 Adventure Lab stages and had 0 DNFs. Our last day at the mega. NationalSteel and I attended the Ainslie event, tackled some of the CBR whereigo caches and then made our separate ways home.I travel this road several times a year, but never have time to stop to get any of the nearby caches. Today, on the way back from the mega, I decided to remedy that. The cache was in good condition. We signed the log and replaced the container as foundThanks ALL7 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about after the CITO and a couple of tunnels.Left with TLC.So much dust.Caching with and signing as the group '5 for QLD' and having a great day.TFTCache ALL7
Another day spent Pre-Mega geocaching. Today we are chasing caches along Sutton Road north of the town and across to Murrumbateman and down. Log sheets as "5 for QLD" to save space and time. No fire breathing dragons here, but lots and lots of dust from the roadworks. Apparently they don't water the surface on weekends.Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 24, 2024. TFTC, ALL7
Cache container cracked and log soaked - could do with some love. Thanks for the cache ALL7
After the busy (and wet) summer had finished, The Rats floated the idea of a trip to the area around Canberra and Yass with Steeba and myself. We compared diaries, and had a two day mid-week window where we could make things happen, in the week wedged between Easter and ANZAC Day.
The weather was on our side for the first time in I forget how long, and we were able to make the most of our time opportunity.
A lot of excellent caches were found, and some fantastic terrain caches too. A few power trails, some crafty hides, some hard hides, and even some climbs that I could not do... even with our ladder!
Thank you to all of the cache owners for placing their hides. This boiler plate log does not reflect the quality of the hides. Most importantly thanks as always to my two great caching mates for their company!
Cheers

The Gong Gangsters (steeba, Hoojar and The Rats) took advantage of an extended Easter / Anzac break to head out for another caching juggernaut through the Southern Highlands and Yass regions. Blessed with beautiful weather we targeted a few powertrails and high D/T rated caches.
After 2 full days we'd collected a plethora of finds, made some new friends, laughed alot, pushed our bodies beyond the comfortable level and most of all - had a great time with mates. Thanks to all the CO's for your caches and those who tagged along.

The Rats, Hoojar and myself teamed up for an assault in and around the Yass area for a couple of days- a most enjoyable caching trip with my mates. Plenty of power trail type finds but a lot of great variety here and there, particularly around Yass itself. We started off on Wednesday night and finished up Friday afternoon. TFTC!
Found this cache on a trip around our nations capital. Thank you. for hiding and maintaining this cache, *ALL7* .
Warmest Geocaching regards from *AppleCircus*
I went a searchin' a cache t'day,
I looked and looked for that cache t'day,
A mystery did I say,
A mystery I did not find t'day
I did not find it in the bush,
I did not find it in the tree,
By this time I was starting to ponder,
could it be over yonder?
So off I went trudging over there,
but I could not find it anywhere.

Did this cache with a group who logged as THE MOB. All in all we were appreciative of the CO's efforts in putting them out. Apologies for the generic log but what can one do?
We stamped the logs as "The Mob" to save space in the logs - today there were 6 teams caching together: Team Crackers, The Drovers, Phetlern, Alansee, the lovely micaparamedic and myself.
Most of the cache finds were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted - almost non-stop! [^] We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers, windy conditions at times, we also had sunny days to enjoy caching in.
A sincere thanks to ALL7 for placing these caches, including the enjoyable little series.

Catching up with some late logs
An unexpected trip to NSW saw us with some spare time, as we had not planned anything we concentrated on Adventure Labs but we were stopping for any others that came on the screen.
We took a break and headed off for a short detour to grab a couple of Trads that were not far off. A nice quiet country rd and we located both these caches with no sign of any other muggles.
After adding our name to the log book we returned every thing as it was,.
Thanks ALL7 for the quick break in a our task.

Found this one with me old man, it was his first cache. My old man had to come save me after I ran out of diesel. TFTC
Day #1: With a long weekend off, I decided on coming to Canberra for it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any accommodation for the Saturday night, so instead, I ended up with a single night but that doesn’t matter. I’m sure I’ll enjoy my Geocaching trip still. I started the Saturday with avenging some DNF’s as well as finding newer caches along ‘Sutton Rd’ to my accommodation in Queanbeyan. Yes, this did include finding the new AL in ‘Gundaroo’ which was great fun and full of history lessons to learn about. After finding these caches, I then booked into accommodation and have a late lunch. Afterwards, I decided on doing the new AL in Queanbeyan. I also decided on walking from my accommodation and visit some of the other caches around. After a rest and dinner, I went and did some night caching. Only two find for this and both were quick finds. Now time to get some sleep.
Day #2: After a great night sleep, I went to attack the GCA ALF trail and the Starwars Letterbox trail plus a few loose caches that were along the way. I started by re-attempting the new AL bonus cache in Queanbeyan but unfortunately, I needed to leave with a DNF again. Well, time to head over to the ALF trail and get started on my bush walk. I collected a couple before I got there. It took about 1h40m for the walk which was a lot, lot faster than when I did it back in 2016 for the GC version of these. It was great fun and full of great views… again. The area has changed a bit since last time. After having a break, it was time to start the Starwars trail. I drove to the end of the trail and worked my way back to the start of the trail. After this I knew I was nearby(ish) a cache that would fill in a gap in my Jasmer grid (May 2017). This is a rare month for me to find because the closest couple to my home coordinates were Canberra and Albury. These are 2.25h of driving each way (totalling 4.5hours) before finding caches and all other driving plus meals. In other words, a big day. It feels great to finally have this finally done. Now time for lunch. After lunch, I decided on collecting some more of the UGC caches, that I qualify for and then it was time to head home from my trip away.
All found caches were a mixture of both GC and GCA caches. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all the CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring me and others enjoyment. TFTC’s

A micro cache. I picked up a dropped dinosaur from the ground. I will find a cache for it. TFTC ALL7.
Day out in Gundaroo, Murrumbateman and Yass. Achieved around 90 finds for the day. Roads were busy around lunchtime, quietened down into the evening. Signed and replaced cache. Thanks heaps for all the caches in the area.
Found on a drive from Canberra as we headed out toward Gundaroo, Murrumbateman and Yass for some country air and to support the local communities. TFTC
Off on a cache maintenance run sjg66, picking a few new caches up that have been published since we last headed up this way. Thanks to the CO's for hiding them.
Helped replacing the old or damp/damaged log papers for ALL7. Found all of them, except few missing ones which are replaced by new caches. She taught me how to do as a cache owner one day that’s why. Glad we had a lovely day and via first half-way, we visited the Robyn Rowe chocolate cafe on Nanima Road for a cuppa break. Lovely delicious handmade chocolates. Worth a visit there. Then on final half-way, we done the cache researching to the Casey Jones pub for a good cooling-down break with and .
The Leap day weekend on leap day started with a fantastic CITO near the War Memorial with a great BBQ, then moved onto a caching run with Liz & Bruce from Yass to Gund3roo and back to Yass via Murrumbatemen. We actually made it to the afternoon event in Gungahlin. After Dinner I decided to have a go at getting to the max 9 cache types I would be able to get. This took me late into the evening with an Earthcache & Where-i-go in the dark, but was very successful.
Thanks.

This auspicious date had been marked on our calendar for some time so we were particularly pleased to get some direction where we could achieve some high numbers for this once in 4 year occasion. We teamed up with local geocacher Albida for a relaxed but unrelenting day of finding caches. Lovely scenery and great hides. Our thanks to Albida and to ALL7 for adding to our enjoyment of the area.

Cache 5875 on 22 Feb 2020.
Today is a challenge day for TikvaNZ, Fox in Jox, Flintstones and myself - we are aiming for 270+ caches in one day - a big ask! We are hitting a number of power trails around the ACT, mainly ALL7 and DSD caches. With 4 in the car, the jobs of driving, navigation and cache finding will be rotated around all of us. Unless otherwise indicated, caches found easily and in line with the hint.
Thanks ALL7 for the cache and the fun!

Thank you ALL7 for the cache and thank you AngelG for driving. Signed with stamp of the day or as TAFF.

I went to Costco for fuel, and was commissioned to get a couple of things from Costco itself. I was there just after 9:00, and got the fuel but the store wasn't open yet. So I went for a drive. I headed out this way in the hopes of getting a cache if there was time, and, after missing the archived one, went and found this one easily. Thanks, All7.
Started out this morning to do some caching with ilook4geo, mainly along the Sutton Road route and with a few others thrown in as well. There were a few we had to DNF and some without hints that proved to be rather challenging, as the co-ordinates were not really close to reality. We had a reasonable haul for the day and initials were added to each found log. Many thanks go to ALL7 for this cache which contributed to our fun today.
Had a fun day today caching with goingplaces2. Found most of our targets, but did miss a few. Caches were mostly in good condition, all logs were signed and replaced before we moved on. TFTC.
We decided to do a small road trip and grab some caches on this first day of spring! The wattles were out and the sun was shining! Thanks for helping make our outing fun.
I found this in the right hand side, but put it back in the left - once the hiding place is opened, it would locked away if it was in the right hand side. TFTC ALL7
Rain wind ice and snow made our trip home from Goulburn an adventurous one today!! Out on the hunt for clues and jewels with KittyKatch and Joolay as we solve the Mystery at the Museum. Thanks for the cache!!

On our way home from the Oz Geomuster 2019 - The Gong! We had some time to kill and thought about smashing out a series or two on the way home to Melbourne. We followed the Australian Animals Series from Collector to Gundaroo - the weather turned a little nasty but we had fun anyway! Then we decided to keep the train rollin' along a few more dirt roads and backroad highways. Our thanks to all of the cache hiders for these cool caches along roads we'd never travel otherwise.
