Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Fryer's day the eighteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Well done in hiding this cache. You do require a magnet and you need to be careful of muggles. This took me a few minutws to find. Loved it.

A nicely crafted hide that we came across straight away as we worked our way into GZ from the nearby street.

Every year Mr SKI's family tries to get together for a few days, usually at Inverloch in one of the caravan parks. The logistics can be interesting as he has quite a big family. All but one made it this year as sadly the youngest still has to work. Maybe next year!
The weather has been mixed, but it is great to get together anyway. Plenty of coffees and meals out and much catching up.

No other family members geocache on a regular basis, but with a gap in the activites and a fine day we organized for Rebel Acts to join us so we could head out and fine as many of thos unfound caches in the surrounding area as we could.
As usual it was a great day with plenty of fun and the usual branding of ámatuers' when someone overlooked hides. Usually us. The scenery was often spectacular with a variety of cache types and hides. Even managed to correct a couple of blue faces.

Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache dgfb33.

So lucky to out and about caching with the Suscoe team. Another interesting day in South Gippsland, we found a variety of caches in a range of locations.
Our second stop, what a sneaky one, easily gets a FP from us today.

Thanks dgfb33 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe was out caching today in the company of Phetlern.
It was a very mild day, a good breeze blowing and lots of sunshine til later in the day, we even had a few large drops of rain.
A good range of caches in a variety of locations were visited.

Thanks to dgfb33, a clever cache.
A favourite from us.

Nab this one on a lovely winter's day. Unfortunately, I didn't have a magnet or a pen with me today to extract the cache and sign the log. But thanks for bringing me here again after the Rail Trail series has slowly disappeared.

Clever hiding spot and if I read instructions before arriving here I would have had the right tools to retrieve it. Tftc- fun and quick find

Pretty quick find with tassie expat. It's well hidden but the coords are accurate enough. Thanks for placing it.

18-Dec-20
This was one of those "how did I miss it last time" caches. Draggedalong and I tried a few weeks back, but it was muggle central (that's our excuse). This time it was frmen1 who had the eagle eyes. Correct TOTT and minimal muggles made for an easy retrieval and return. TFTC

We found thus cache yesterday, on after a lovely drive along the Bunurong Coastal Drive. A very cool cache - we started from the wrong path and needed to do a little off track walking, but were soon at GZ and prepared this time with the correct TOTT. Thanks for bring us here and placing this fun cache

Lucky for me today I had my handbag with the geo tool in it!

Yet again didn’t know we needed a magnet so I stayed in the bush while geo Mum got the magnet from the car. Passers by must have thought I was a weirdo so I came up with the plan that “I was playing hide and seek ” incase someone asked, I suggest you use that excuse too!! TFTC

29-Feb-20
So I decided today was a good day for a geocache and I don't have very many left nearby, so it had to be this one. We parked near the shopping centre and headed down the path, a lot of people walking and on bikes were travelling the path as well on a fine and pleasant day. I got to GZ and soon found a likely spot, inserted magnet tool, nothing came out, inserted magnet tool again, still nothing. HMMMMMMM perhaps this is the wrong spot. I looked down on the ground and noticed a nicely constructed log container lying on the ground underneath where I was inserting my magnet tool. I recognised the construction and the initials on the side of the cache, picked it up, signed the log in a bit of a rush due to a couple of passing muggles, and inserted the cache back into it's rightful home, where it will hopefully stay until the next geocacher happens along the path. TFTC #282

Found by Mary and David at 10:00. Sadly we are leaving Wonthaggi and heading back to maccamob HQ. We have a cache similar to this, but using a commercial container. Love your work! Good to see you yesterday, too. Keep on keeping on. Earns a FP. Our thanks to dgfb33.

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.

Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.

Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

Thanks dgfb33 for the cache.

Find #10787

Headed out today with beckNmonts and a rough plan was to attend both the events and due to both of us being on strict minimal activity, decided to mostly do caches around town.

This one had us searching for some time until bec spotted something between the trees. It looks like we were on the wrong track. Made our way through and with our special tool, the cache was retrieved.

Many thanks to dgfb33 for the cache. TNLN.

Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2020?*

Got to this one and took a minute or two to find it. Then I realised the tool htat I needed! Fortunately there was a couple of caching friends nearby and we soon had one.

28-Dec-19
A day out caching, at last! ahomburg and myself were both not at full “capacity” today for caching, so we decided to join forces and find some almost drive by caches we could limp to. As usual, for the area, we found some high quality caches. Thanks for placing the cache dgfb33.

28-Dec-19
Today I headed to Wonthaggi to attend the two events in town, I managed to convince My old caching Mate Trailrunning to come down for the day as he was so close to his 10,000 find, also teamed up with another great mate Omegaman1971, I had a great day finding caches and catching up with friends. knowing what we were after soon made this one a lot easier than the last.

Thanks dgfb33 for the cache.

After a short walk we soon discovered this very attractive cache.
Cheers dgfb33 for the cache.

Today we found LEAVING TOWN on our travels. Initially we followed Micaparamedic to the old coordinates. Once we sorted out our error the cache was quickly found, extracted and signed.
Thanks dgfb33 for being part of our geocaching fun.

Another clever hide here as I enjoyed the trail which was deserted while I was here TFTC dgfb33

Found at 1:19 PM GAFF2.
Now that took a lot longer than I thought it would take to find [B)] Eventually found the very well concealed container more by feel than by sight. Was surprised that there were so many muggles passing by on a day when the shops are shut.
Thanks dgfb33

Today’s haul was yet another of DFGB33’s beautifully crafted works of Geocaching. I was expecting a bison tube, but it certainly wasn’t anything as cheaply built as that! Such craftsmanship is rare, especially these days. It was extremely well hidden and the sun was shining! Bonuses all round. We found this yesterday while we were here in Wonthaggi, but I’d relied on The_Evil_Muggle swore the TOTT we needed wasn’t in my caching bag in the car. I checked this afternoon and found it exactly where I’d described! He obviously just had a “man’s” look! Admittedly it was raining and very unpleasant then. Thanks for making such a special cache for a very ordinary location. Another favourite point is due for this. On the way out of the estate we saw a big Echidna wandering through a small bit of parkland. As soon as we stopped to take a photo it tried to hide itself inconspicuously in the shadow side of a small tree and burrowed down. In the process lots of ants came out. I hope it had a good feed for its efforts.

This cache has definitely vanished. I have verified this. Whether due to human or animal interference is a moot point, so, as this spot is now suspect I will find a new position for the cache.

Apologies for the late log, been a bit scattered lately with logs.
We found this one on the way home from a kids party in Cape Patterson.
Believe it or not we have children that some all the way from Cape Patterson all the way to Loch! Now that’s dedication.
I remember this one clearly, sap in my hair!
TFTC and sorry once again for the late log. Thanks Smile

22/02/2019 - 8.17 pm - No. 1024 - Managed a 3rd to find.
Would you believe I left my computer at 12.15pm & newly published email came in at 12.16 pm. If only ... I was halfway there too at co-workers farewell lunch.
Headed out at 8.03pm & had to do a loop rather than straight back to avoid a couple of young gents that had caused the sound of a breaking bottle at the back of a shopping complex on the way past. Decided to keep heading west & try & find the nearest water crossing near Guide Park. Following the north bank of the giant drain I found a steepish down & up bit with a crossable bit so made the most of the crossing before heading back towards home.
Co-ords had me at the right place & it was found tucked away as described. Found, signed & returned as found. No black for me from the shrubbereeee Wink The second of dgfb's sneaky hadn't told me what was going on caches. Thanks for the cache. Smile

FTF at 12.56pm. I was thinking about going for a walk when up popped this new cache within walking distance to me. So I heeded the warning, grabbed some gloves and headed off. Glad I did because I found it just two minutes before the next seeker. Thanks for the cache.
