We were staying in Ocean Grove when late at night I was set the task of finding a 24 hour chemist. There'll be nothing closer than Geelong I confidently said and then after looking online found one in Curlewis. I didn't think there was any type of residential area in Curlewis, let alone the need for a 24 hour Chemist, so I initially doubted the information. Even while driving there I couldn't figure out where it would be but then after turning a corner I was on the edge of a housing estate that I didn't even know existed. I'm still not sure it warrants the Chemist but it saved me the longer drive and I stopped to grab this cache before heading back. A quick find in the middle of the night that might be a bit trickier at other times, thanks for the cache Alansee.
Cleverly hidden and a very creative cache indeed! TFTC Hoodedhooligans (H.H.) 26 December 2020 3:12 pm #397
We've resumed looking, after a Covid-induced cessation of action for 7 months.
Have awarded this one a favourite for 2 reasons.
1. the location ... very difficult to put one in a supermarket carpark, particularly out in the open, not tucked away around the back in some little spot no one goes to. Also the 3D element.
2. the size ... very clever bit of deception there. It obeys the rules but is most unexpected
Clearly an inspired cache, much studying of the carpark has gone on to find the best spot.

My local supermarket! Considered this one a few times in the past few days... tonight the time was right. The rain meant everyone parked near the door, so I was muggle-free! Found at 19:12. Nice hide, thanks.
Found it easily but didn’t sign the log because there are too many muggles. TFTC
Found it but difficult to get out!! Our master cacher, the youngest son, was smack on target! Maybe a bit of relocation would help...

Well this took quite a while to retrieve and it was not what I expected to see here either.
Fortunately I had a variety of tools in the car and the last one worked for me.
It seems to be a day for finding Alansee caches.
Thanks for this one too.

Had me searching for a solid 30 minutes trying not to look suspicious around the two cars on either side. Great spot though!
We stopped in here to do a supply run and as we pulled up Sean.75 told us where to park because there was a cache nearby, bonus!! TFTC
Parking right next to Gz made for a quick find. Only problem was, waiting for all the muggles who came out of the center to leave before putting the cache back. Cigc. Tftc
Down this way with kenbryl and Sean.75. We called in here to stock up on road trip eats. What a bonus parking right next to gz!! Tftc
Hated this one as people may have thought it looked suss and right next to a random lone car haha
I spotted the cache hide and went for it, but alas, there was no way I could reach the cache so I needed to step back and let hubby go for it. After signing the cache we headed in to do some shopping. SL TFTC
On we went on the 'Alansee show'. Pity about the rain, it's rather uncomfortable this afternoon. Let's see how long we last today ...
Another quick find, and a container that looks familiar.

What a bonus - regular grocery shopping and a cache!
A nice sunny day to be out and about, without leaving town.
Thanks 'Alansee' for adding this cache to the gameboard.

After finding our main target for the night we wandered down to pick up 1 or 2 more caches in the area. Having worked at the new Woolies here packing bread on the shelves, we were interested in coming here and seeing where you could hide a cache. Once at GZ we were pretty confident we knew where the cache would be and we were right.
Well that was very considerate of the designers to incorporate a cache holder into the carpark just for geocaching
Thanks Alansee for the appropriate placement.

A very quiet spot on a Friday. Grabbed 3 tbs here which was a surprise. Thanks alansee
A quick p&g after getting FTF on the new cache nearby. Pretty deserted at this time of night so I was in and out undisturbed. Nice to see a larger container than one would normally find at this style of hide.
Clever spot to think of putting a cache! We scratched our heads to start with till we noticed something. Trackables have been placed in here. Tftc!
After moving spots and re reading the description we finally came across it. With my parent inlaws only living around the corner l will make this my unoffical tb shopping centre cache l reckon as great spot for tbs l think
Quite hard to get to as I’m short but interesting stuff in it. Next time I’ll have something to exchange
Marshall’s Geelong found this cache today,
Cache is well blended! TFTC!

Suscoe was out this morning enjoying a trip to Drysdale and Clifton Springs.
It was a pleasant morning and a nice change from the warmer weather.
We were amazed at the growth in this area.
Thanks to Alansee for this hide, a quick find as we had stopped on the right side, or was that the left????
A nice hide and things were very quiet over this side.

After dropping a daughter of in Leopold and having a couple of hours to kill before I needed to pick her up again I arranged to pick up Ausfox; and take him for a ride in my new car. Initially we headed to Queenscliff for a high favourite point cache for the extra points for the current souvenir then we turned our attention to this one. Being later at nightwe were hoping for a quieter time so we could make the find with out drawing any extra attention. Even though there were plenty of people still coming and going we were easily able to make the find without any trouble.
Thank you Alansee for the hide

Out with Simsfamily cruising in their new wheels, so what else was there to do but grab a cache. We had the area to ourselves to make a quick find.

Decided to investigate this new development and was surprised at the scope of it. My only difficulty here was in reaching the cache Thanks again Alansee
After a bit of a break heading out to Curlewis, some new caches seemed like a great excuse to enjoy the area again. Glad we could get a park right next to the cache. This area reminds us a bit of the new Highton shopping area. TFTC Alansee.
Visiting a relation who is 84 in a few days so that we could all celebrate together - so made the most of being in this area by finding a few new caches. Great new Shopping Centre. Fortunately Geohubby was able to just reach the cache that certainly was well camoed!

On my way to Queenscliff to check on 360 up in the tower and decided to go via the Curlewis Shopping Centre.
I had no idea that this way here so a learning curve for me today.
On arrival I could see the cache but being a tad on the short side it was back to the White Beast for a tool to retrieve a different type of container.
With log stamped it was time to head down to Beacon Point.
Thanks Alansee for a quality hide.

'Tis not often that a new cache is published, just near home, and we are at home etc.... this time BINGO. Quick trip down, no one there and in hand quite swiftly.
Thanks Alansee.
Thanks Alansee.
