Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a week or so in Yass, today we headed out late morning. What fantastic weather for another run around Yass. Mr Felix came across a sleeping possum in a fence post today, who did not want to give up the cache. Another good day.TFTC ALL7

Reperio 09:23Day 4 of our weekend getaway to Yass for a caching run, and after getting a better night sleep, we were up again early to hit the trails. We managed to fit in around 100 caches before having to head for home in Orange, but we had a fantastic 3 and a half days away non stop caching.Gratias ALL7As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Did this cache with a group who logged as THE MOB. We had to replace quite a few logbooks and caches. All in all we were appreciative of the CO's efforts in putting them out.
We stamped the logs as "The Mob" to save space in the logs - today there were 6 teams caching together: Team Crackers, The Drovers, Phetlern, Alansee, the lovely micaparamedic and myself.
Most of the cache finds were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted - almost non-stop! [^] We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers, windy conditions at times, we also had sunny days to enjoy caching in.
A sincere thanks to ALL7 for placing these caches, including the enjoyable little series.

A plan was formulated at the Queanbyann Mega to come and attack some of the Canberra trails nut unfortunately in 2019 the bush fires put paid to our plans and then Co-vid got in the way and with things looking settled we took the opportunity to get the group together and head up here to try our luck.
Day 1 turned into a great day. although parking was quite difficult at some locations but we managed with a bit of a walk here and there. We replaced quite a few soggy log books and cache containers that we were positive were missing and had a great time collecting some nice terrain and difficulty's, some of which took quite awhile to spot, even with this many eyes. We only had one dnf for the day.
To save room in the logs we signed the logbooks as the Mob consisting of Alansee, Goodlook. Micaparamedic. Phetlern, Team Crackers and The Drovers.
Thanks to all the cache owners for these hides and a great fun day.

We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Thank you ALL7, it's very nice of you to name a cache for me ... I appreciate it.
We are on our way home to the wonderful Central Coast after a 5 week road trip to Tassie, but are making a detour into Canberra today to see our granddaughter perform in her dance school concert. Since we weren't far away as we headed down the Barton Highway, I just had to take a detour into the back blocks of Murrumbateman so that I could add my name to the log of my namesake cache, which I was able to do without any problems.
I saw there were quite a few caches nearby named after other Central Coast cachers that the CO and I know, but I didn't have time to do them today ... I'll have to come back another time for that!
Since the cache has such a great name, I'd better give it a fave point ... . Thanks again ALL7.

Found with sebass14 on our quest to grab lots of the caches around the roads of Murrumbateman. After the drive out to the area, we spent about four hours driving around and in the end, got 39 finds, including my 6000th find at the 'Toy Hunters' cache. Despite the dry heat today, the country landscape and the hills (plus the occasional farms and farm animals) were excellent backdrops to our lovely drive. All caches had appropriate parking nearby, which made it quite easy to power through them; all caches were quick, easy finds; and most were in fine condition. We had lunch and a ginger beer at the park in Murrumbateman to celebrate 6000 finds; topping what was a wonderful and memorable day out. TFTC ALL7!
Last of the day for me, getting really hot now at around midday, heading for 32 degrees. A Black Faced Cuckoo Shrike speeding over the quite tall, waving grass on the roadside verges. TFTC
After camp, Z_For_Zanky and I decided on finding a couple of caches along the way home. This was on of them. All logs were signed as 11/10 JM & ZFZ to save time and space. TB visit on all caches. TFTC
I've dropped the GeoSchnauzers off for grooming this morning, and I'm filling in time before I can collect freshly shaved dogs. I decided a trip out this way is in order, for another string of your caches and a couple of solved puzzles caches. I've enjoyed the drive, particularly the bits near the Yass river. It's a great day for it and I have really enjoyed myself. I'm sorry for the generic logs. I have to maintenance my lady who has just come out of a counselling session with her kids and her ex. She is not too happy, I don't think. She will be here soon.

Teaching all the families from Kippax Uniting how to cache on a delightful afternoon adventure. Majority of the crew are logging as UnitingKippaxUniting. Thanks so much for the series and thanks for the cache!
Today was a very pleasant warm sunny day and just perfect for a leisurely drive to collect some more of this series of caches. Thanks ALL7 for placing them all.
I headed out for a day of caching along Mountain Creek road with LuckyL10n. We each did about one hundred caches, but over a total of about 120 for the day. We had a few DNFs but largely we had a great successful day. After Yass we had to get up to 100 finds, so a few more on the way back towards Canberra to finish off the day.
Thanks.

Intended to clear up my missing ALL7 caches around Murrumbateman this morning but I was slowed down by a couple of DNFs so had to leave a few for another time. Have really enjoyed this series. Caches attempted today were 'All' found with the exception of 2 DNFs, logged separately. TFTC and for placing and maintaining this series ALL7.
After a foggy start to the morning it cleared out to be a lovely day to be out and about for a number of caches that trail towards Yass. I started the series too long ago, and have even made this a 'good' place for a daily find... yes, it was easier to get out to a few of the closer to town ones at times! So today we set out to see what we could get done.
As it happened we managed to get all of the caches in the area that we needed and made a good day of it too. The roads were quiet and made stopping quite good, a little local traffic but not much and the coordinates seemed good and caches easily found. The lambs were about, a lot of alpacas, a free roaming ram and a few locals that saw nothing!
Thanks for the cache ALL7, another one complete and SO many more to go!

While staying at Yass we took the opportunity to do some more caching with ilook4geo, mostly picking up caches between Yass and Murrumbateman. Some caches took a bit more finding than others, but it was basically a successful run. All logs found were initialled and put back with their containers as found. Thanks go to ALL7 for placing this cache.
The day was a reasonable one for weather, so went out with goingplaces2 for a caching run from Yass to Murrumbateman. We had a fun day and signed lots of logs with two lots of initials. TFTC.

On our way home from the Oz Geomuster 2019 - The Gong! We had some time to kill and thought about smashing out a series or two on the way home to Melbourne. We followed the Australian Animals Series from Collector to Gundaroo - the weather turned a little nasty but we had fun anyway! Then we decided to keep the train rollin' along a few more dirt roads and backroad highways. Our thanks to all of the cache hiders for these cool caches along roads we'd never travel otherwise.

After staying overnight in Yass, we made an early start to look for caches. Our agenda for the day was to finish looking for the caches along Mountain Creek Road that we started yesterday, to look for caches in the "Drive to Uriarra Road" series and to start looking for the tribute caches to the north of Yass.
We always enjoy caches that recognise the achievements and contributions of cachers. So we were looking forward to this series. We have met some of the cachers mentioned, have found caches placed by many and have become aware of cachers that we do not know but hope to meet in the future.
Unless stated otherwise, the coordinates were reasonably accurate, the caches were found reasonably quickly and and the caches and contents were in good condition. Unless the information has been updated very recently, the traditional caches were not all small in size - a significant number were micro. We found over thirty caches from this series today but will have to return at some time in the future to look for the remainder.
Thanks ALL7 for the extensive amount of planning, cache preparation and placement that went into this series. It was a mammoth undertaking which is greatly appreciated.

It was awful weather and freezing cold, so I kept the finds to the bare minimum I needed to top up the cache finds for today to the next level. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their caches, which have been exceptional in their maintenance I have had only 1 dnf and that was only because I was not going to make a tree climb without seeing where the cache was.
