Logs
Visited here in March and left with a DNF. Back today with GeoHubby (Slotheryn) to help me look. Something that I had missed last visit was clearly obvious today and the cache was a quick find. Good to turn a blue frown into a smiley.
Spotted the cache quickly then went back to the vehicle to get some tools. Worth a favorite point
Quickly caught onto where it was but had to go back to the car to get a tool. Bit tough to get into! Nicely hidden. Was that you in the drive, CO?!
Oh gosh good spot!! And the spiders got the heart pumping! Really really wet so couldn't write on the log . But left a bug to signify the spider guardians !
Out this afternoon with MomsOB finding some caches for my Bakers Dozen challenge. Had a good look around in a few different places which we thought might be fitting for the hint. Didn't have a lot of time to spare and needed to move on. Will be back another day.
This was my second attempt at this cache - I had to desert the search because the kids had had enough but I had an idea of where it might be and so it was a quick find when I returned today. Log and contents of container wet, as mentioned by others
Found it in a GREAT hiding spot pretty smelly cache one of my favorites, thanks.
In the Southern Island currently to drop off the Uni student for the 2024 year, and todays mission was to locate a cache that filled a spot on my D/T grid, that I was struggling to locate in Auckland, and I knew I was coming down this way so why not an adventure......stopped by here enroute and made a nice quick find before heading to my main mission........The cache is all good.....TFTC.
After the terrible weather yesterday we were pleased to see a little sun today.Day six of my trip away in Christchurch with tmann421 hunting caches.Signed all logs tm/ww NZStill full of water but log useableThank you for the placement and the time spent making the caches ready for us to find.
Down in the Christchurch area with woolwood9. Day 6 - A bit of threatening cloud and spits of rain but didn't effect us overly much today.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thank you for the reason to visit this cache and location Wet inside container, this type of Sistema never worked well.*Good find and hide.*
Took a minute to think about it, hint was good and helpful. Drained out the cache, but container really needs replacing. Tftc
Container is no longer watertight, and looks like it's been getting a bit of a regular drink in its location, too. Needs replacing.
Found this on a run with my daughter on her scooter. Now, she is inspired to create one. Thank you
Thought it would be there but was a bit scared to check, Eventually did and found it!
Nice quick PNG to keep the streak after a busy night at work. Need more than a drink of water tonight! TFTC
When I got to gz I knew it could only be in one place!
Thank you for hiding and maintaining this cache!
All dry!

Staying at a nearby motel. We went out for an after-dinner walk. Cache was right where it was supposed to be. TFTC
Find out in the open as the last log described, I put it back in the hiding spot I assume the hint is referring to. TFTC!
Found this lying in the open on the grass.
Figured it wasn't supposed to be like that but I had no idea where to replace it.
After driving away towards home I went to log it and actually read the hint- if I had read it when at GZ I would have realized where it was supposed to be hidden, sorry.
Moral of the story- always read the hint!!!
Hopefully you can replace it in the hide before it fits muggled

Pretty wet but could still write in the log. Took some stickers left a pen. TFTC
GPS initially suggested the cache was hidden on private property however this was not the case; TFTC
This is my favourite one so far because it was a unique hint and a unique place to put it
What a great cache happy to find this in the bath lol. Great for swaps and trackables. Log signed, all good, thanks for the cache kingPete.
This is our second trial for this cache, first time, our timing wasn't right and there were too many cars and people walking around. Despite being in the school holidays, business hours help a lot in reducing the number of muggles. Having read the hint, we quickly located what we were looking for. We needed a tool to get to the cache, but soon the container was in our hands. It is wet inside. We could write our name, but it need a bit of drying. Thanks Pete for this cute little cache!
The hint made this a lovely easy find and nice size for trades. Thanks very wet & couldn't sign the log tho
Took us a while. Was one of the first places we noticed but thought 'no don't think so' .But eventually we gave it a go. Cache is VERY wet, but could still sign. Well done and thanks.
Quick find after a potluck lunch nearby...although I also opened from the wrong direction...go with the other end Cache contents were damp and a bunch of baby slugs were living under 1 of the clips, but the log was nice and dry so managed to sign and replace as found
TFTC!

We quickly located the cache, although it took more effort than it should have, as we didn't realise there was a hinge. As others have said, the logbook is sodden, so after emptying the water from the cache, we added a small waterproof log sheet. TFTC
Wearing different gloves at each cache, found this one! Thanks for the puzzles!
As previous cacher said, very, very wet and couldn't log because i couldn't see a logbook. I sent a photo through of the cache...

Thanks King Pete! Brought the family to check out my old school...which doesn't look as big as it used to...and saw this cache handy. Things are a bit damp but otherwise good. TFTC!
Sir Belac and I needed to get a cache today so we rushed out for a quick find before Christmas dinner. Thanks for the cache and Merry Christmas kingPete

This took a while! The road was like Picadilly circus, unbelievable for a quiet suburban street! Got there very quickly in the end, container is a bath!! Log happily dry. TFTC and a sigh of relief to get this one ticked off.
Nice work, well hidden but nice and easy. Met the new neighbours, or rather, their dog was rather happy to meet us - friendly thing! Cheers
I had lunch at my parents house and found this cache on the way home. Thanks kingPete for placing this geocache 7627 find for me.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

29 August 2019 3:58 PM. Day 4 of the geocaching streak week achieved. Unfortunately the cache itself has been drinking a bit too much H2O. By the sounds of it you don't have too far to go for a spot of maintience though. TFTC kingPete 3401
8208. Worked out very quickly exactly where the container was. Found a suitable tool in the car and easily accessed the cache. Rodney boarded in Bronwyn St, just 100m away, while at university, but geocaching was not invented for another forty years! Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
A straightforward hide. The cache is collecting quite a bit of water ... we poured some out, and collected a TB. TFTC!
Awesome find once you find the right tool. Left a travel bug cache inside. 100th Geocache find!
For my personal challege of upping each day of the calendar up to a minimum of 11 caches, I needed to find 1 cache today. Parked around the corner and walked to GZ. Soon surmised what I needed to do, so I returned to the cachmobile and gathered a suitable tool. Once back at GZ the cache was soon in my hands. However most items inside were a little wet, so the CO should go attend to the matter before things get a little mouldy. Thanks for the cache kingPete.
A little adventure with daughter and granddaughter to round off a pretty busy week - and then back to marking! Great find, TFTC!!

I needed to find 2 caches preferably on the calendar today to bring my total find count up to 11. June is actually not too bad. If I found 2 today, I'd only need to find 1 next week Friday, and then June is all at least 11 finds every day! That'll be my first month complete!
So I called mum, and she came along for the wee adventure with me & daughter. After a DNF, came over this way hoping it would be a quick find. Lucily it was. However we didn't have a tool - and I bent a key in the process - whoops! Turns out old keys are much sturdier than what they make these days!! Lol.
Cache is however very damp & in need of some silica gel...
TFTC!!

Eeekkk What are they doing to QE2 Drive We found we couldn't turn right at Philpotts Rd So visited another Cacher and returned coming home another way.We also needed a wee tool to open it.Nice to see lots of lovely and cute things for the Kiddies..TFTH
Today is a calendar day for both StreetWalkerNZ and me, so we set out after dinner to find a couple of caches. Our first stop of the evening, the new adventure cache, successfully resulted in a find at the first WP, but for yesterday, not today. Grrr!
After finding a trad in Merivale, we took the scenic route back home, via this cache. Probably a good one to do in the dark, and I hope we didn't look too suss to the drivers of the cars that went past. Nice hide. Left a TB. TFTC.

A close cache to work - so really no excuse not to go for it. Quick find in the obvious place, but glad that we had our tools with us to open the hide. TFTC
A rather exposed spot so I was pleased there was no one around. The cache's hiding place was quickly spotted. TFTC.
Found today with injeanious, we spotted the hiding place from the car. Cute hide, Tftc!
