This one had a good run but unfortunately the special container used for this has gone so it is time to let this area go and allow new caches to enter the area.

Thanks for the nice easy cache.

Our first full day in NZ, what a wild and windy welcome we got today . My muggle husband is a fan of Star Wars and I’m not, but even I was capable of solving this one. TFTC

06-Aug-23
Puzzle solved a while ago, but we had to wait for a trip to Dunedin (to visit the kids) before grabbing the final. Quick find.

17-Jun-23
This is my kinda puzzle! Seems I also got in before retirement. Cache safe in its hidey place. Thanks

14-Jun-23
Was saving this one for emergencies. Glad I got it today before retirement.

21-Apr-23
Unfortunately the slug container has gone missing and been replaced by a different nano so it does not align to the original fun of the cache. Will likely retire this one to free up area for another geocache.

16-Apr-23
Thanks for the find. Solved from Aus before coming knowing we were staying at the camping ground. Easy find. Thanks.

04-Mar-23
Found after a nearby (ish) Event - I had calculated the co-ords quite some time ago but had no luck; earlier today I revisited my calculations & I had used XXY, not the correct XYY. There is no cache at a nearby school bus shelter (!) and I was pleased to visit the correct GZ.
Thanks, Natalie247 - and thanks for your other many caches, which have provided me with the bulk of today’s entertainment.

09-Nov-22
Gz can be busy. Waited for a break
All good. Thanks

This riddle we could solve fast yesterday and today we gound the non magnetic cache.
>Thank you for this cache and greetings from Berlin Germany

In Dunedin for a few days for U13 football tournament. Even though Mr12 has a broken arm we still made the trip to support the team...and Mr12, with a bubble wrapped arm, even managed to play a couple of the games....
Afternoon drive around as the snow weather front started to hit... Quiet at GZ which made for a nice quick find and sign. Thanks.

20-Aug-22
First find for me this morning, on my way to the beach. TFTC

Puzzle solved easily, then a quick dash t GZ...TFTC!

Finally found it after several tries. Waypoint was way off. Didn’t find the site wee guy everyone’s talking about sadly.

#10,405. I decided to stop for several caches on my way back to the accommodation this evening after doing the geotour cache out near Taiaroa Head. I have to admit I knew the answers to all the questions in the puzzle without googling them. Guess that makes me a sci-fi geek. By coincidence I signed off a challenge cache near Christchurch with a similar name earlier in the year. This one did not take too long to track down with the hint. Signed the logbook and replaced the container where found. Sadly I failed to notice I needed to record a code. At least I know where to get it again. Thanks Natalie247 for hiding it here.

27-Nov-21
Been in Dunedin a week and heading to Christchurch today. Enjoyed collecting nearly one hundred caches. Today just had time for two. This was very close to where we were staying and despite the rain I couldn’t resist another mystery. Cache and log all fine. Thanks.

As the country enters Level 4 (lockdown), https://covid19.govt.nz

It is strongly recommend that whilst we go for a walk for exercise, we need to take care on shared surfaces and geocaching should not be done at this time; https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/New+Zealand

To remove temptation, I am disabling this cache and ask kindly that you do not find this cache during lockdown.

Remember there is more than physically finding a cache, there are plenty of puzzle caches you can do at home. Or if you live near a multi you can walk the trail and save the find for another day. For more info or connect with wider community see Geocaching New Zealand on Facebook.

Stay home, stay safe and save lives.

FINALLY! Solved this a while ago and then walked past so often and never had a pen with me! Today I wanted a find aca decided to finally go and take a pen! Wink TFTC

07-Aug-21
Nice quick solve and find today. I had no problems with the puzzle - or maybe I did because the coordinates didn't seem that accurate - but the hint was clear, so it didn't matter. TFTC.

21-Jun-21
This has been in the solved folder for a while and in the area today so thought it was time to grab it. Was fooled by the 'decoy' at first but cache was soon spotted. Found with Spoonz2

21-Jun-21
I think I may have ended up on Endor while Debs and I were heading for this one, in seperate cars. For some reason my device headed me somewhere else, and it took a while for me to get back to the correct place. Strange.

22-May-21
A nice quick find thanks. I redid the solution on the fly as I had not flagged as findable. Good when that happens.

Ms_KR and I are on the road to Southland to finish off the Southern PW GeoTour. We had a lovely day in Dunners today. with a few multis and a couple of Adventure Labs.

Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Thanks for putting this out for us to visit!

Good puzzle and find.

28-Feb-21
Had fun solving the puzzle - needed to look up an answer even though I’m old enough to have seen all the movies when they were first released!

Staying at the nearby campground so dropped by after dinner to collect. Love the container! FP from me Smile

17-Jan-21
My second mystery cache find - took a wee while and then found it just where it was supposed to be. Love the container so a fav vote from me. TFTC.

No luck for us today

25-Dec-20
Out and about today for some caching. Had our family xmas a few days ago before we left home so today was just us. Decided to hit central Dunedin today as figured there would be less people around. The only people we did seem to hit was a couple of Chinese tour groups.

Just wandering the streets of Dunedin now stopping off at caches we have solved or we like the sound of. Recognised the theme for this so it was a quick solve. Nice quick find and sign here before the rain started again. tftc

Visiting Dunedin with nana as attending (your) event tomorrow. Finding a few caches this afternoon. Cute cache nearly missed the little guy! tftc

The Logsheet is full and must bei changed. Good and fast Mysterie for a Star Wars Fan! Smile

After consulting Mr Google I soon had the green tick. today I made a stuff up on a cache that I located earlier in the day and since I needed a "?" cache for a challenge I'm working on I went for this close to home one. I was a little puzzled at first and then I finally spotted it. Nice cache container.

27-Aug-19
Thanks thought I’d solved this a while ago as I’d put I think on my waypoint and put it on my dot day list. But with the latest challenge of a seven day streak and only six dot days left and one dot day this week I felt I could attempt the challenge to get the souvenir.
Out this way with my son at Badminton so not far out of my way to collect a cache today. Pleased it was an easy find once I got there.

26-Aug-19
7 day challenge brought me out to this cache and this was a nice and easy find after solving the puzzle. TFTC

17-Aug-19
KatieW was talking about finding this cache so I came home and solved it rather quickly for me. So in need of a cache today I got this one between showers. Neat wee container.

28-Jul-19
I can remember when I was younger that we'd eat dinner in the lounge rather than the dining room just so we could watch old VHS tapes of this movie, and indeed the series. Over and over. Probably annoying our parents substantially. Still, the movies were (are) fun and a good but of escapism. This cache did surprise me a little, but then I remembered it was a Natalie cache. Cheers!

24-Jul-19
Solved this new version when it came out, and detoured past after a walk in the area. I know I was a bit slow in arriving, but I didn't expect that cache container! Had to resort to tweezers... which then got stuck to the magnet... but managed to sign and return it.

23-Jul-19
Not sure why I hadn't done this one of the series, but it is an easy solve, and the find was quicker than accessing the log! Thanks for the cache.

20-Jul-19
Quick find ..much easier in the daytime tftc

20-Jul-19
Solved this a little while ago ideal opportunity this weekend to sign log. Cool hide. TFTC

20-Jul-19
Found it. Worked out the answers and got a set of coords. Another cache on the way to 35

16-Jul-19
Even though I'm not a fan of the movies, I strangely knew all the answers. Got disturbed looking for the final, so returned the next night to finish signing the log. TFTC

16-Jul-19
Nice easy puzzle and find too!

13-Jul-19
Amazing, I spent 20min trying to find it

29-Jun-19
I don't especially like the movies but I convinced my brother to help me with the puzzle. I spotted the sneaky hide soon enough though.

03-Jun-19
Despite almost total ignorance of the film series, we soon answered the questions, although it took us a while to spot the sneaky little hide. TFTC

01-May-19
Quickly solved and had to head to this side of town today. I should have waited 3 more days...

Thought I had worked out the final cords and looked for it a few weeks ago. After a very thorough search had to give up. Having seen plenty of finds since I double checked my numbers and noticed an error!! Final turned out to be only 50m from my first hunt!! Having dropped off daughter to school for a sports tournament in Oamaru early this morning I took a detour home. No problem finding the cache this time. Only took a second or two to find. Thanks Natalie247

This is the Southern Raiders weekend to pounce on our northern neighbors!
As we stealthily approached the border, we dropped the rrrrs and began to enunciate our worrds morre betterrrrr...
Figured this one out at home, just needed an excuse to snaffle it!

At a recent gathering of southern cachers, a plan was hatched. We need favourite points
..but where to find them????
Dunedin was the decision.
I had to work on my A game to convince the co driver that attendance was compulsory....
Decisions to raid the more northern caches was made. So off we set.
A stealthful approach from the south was made easier with all the Highlanders fans heading to town.
At the border, we dropped the rrrs and picked up our scarves, to blend in with the uni types.
This era of movies and tv was not fimiler to as I was always doing something else so lucky for me annielin was a tv and movie watcher.
We work out the need info and pick this one up after we sorted out a park bench to sleep under. (Kidding)
Found with Annielin

Thanks for the hide

We've not long arrived at our accommodation for the weekend in preparation for the Southern Raid we organized to garner enough points for the Cache Carnival. We'd just opened the app to log a couple of finds from earlier today, when we discovered a multi nearby. Crunched the numbers quickly and found the perfect location for a final... only it wasn't the final... d'oh! Crunched the numbers again, realised we'd twisted a couple... a few minutes later in a different area completely we found the cache. Nice hide, fave point for "something different". TFTC

05-Apr-19
Arrived at the Holiday Park, and had just put my feet up to catch the end of 7 Days, when SW said there was a newish mystery not far away. Quickly rattled off some numbers... overthinking one answer as it had been a long day in the office. Checked the incorrect waypoint for a few minutes, realizing there was nothing black, rechecked and spotted the very obvious mistake... walked a bit further and soon found black object and cache. Walked back to unit just as the rain came down... May the force be with us this weekend, to reach 500 points and my 1500th cache.

30-Mar-19
I flew in to Dunedin yesterday for a special mission, collecting old caches and some others for a challenge cache I’m working on and some caches with high FP's for the Cache Carnival souvenirs.

It's still dark, very early morning when I came here, but that's worked in my favour though. I suspect this a very busy road normally and it took me awhile before I spotted the nice little camoed hide. Ignore the black thing at the base, it's meant to be there. Thanks Natalie247 for the puzzle and the hide.

Was distracted by the object lower down before noticing the obvious cache a bit higher up. Completed the 1980s series a few years ago now so no need to gather the number. TFTC.
