Found it and put back, good thing it is attached to the post otherwise would have floated away in the floods
Located with RNZ
This park had a tree with the biggest Feijoas I have ever seen! They are one of my favourite fruits so I might have filled my handbag
A nice relaxing Sunday drive out to the Motueka market & then up the Brooklyn Valley & West Bank Road, with lunch at the Upper Moutere Pub to finish.

Found in the second place looked. Thought it was missing initially until I widened the search a bit. Flood debris quite high here.
I did that while RG was filling her handbag over in the reserve with the largest feijoas we have ever seen.
She was pleased as punch and it took a bit to convince her not to come back with a supermarket bag.
Cache is good, by the way . Thanks Isis.
It was a nice day today so we went for a drive out to Motueka to visit the market. That was good, then we had a cruisy drive home down back roads with a few stops for caches and the Upper Moutere Pub. Nice day, a few roads I had never been down before.

Awesome park this one, I had a cache here back in the day also. Glad to see they've recovered the park from the state it was left in after the flooding from cyclone Gita a few years ago. Thanks for bringing back
A quick easy find after initially trying the wrong hint object. There has clearly been major flooding here. TFTC
I tried going directly to GZ, but the ground was super-saturated and getting worse with each step. So instead, I went along the stream and found a much drier path. No trouble locating the cache. TFTC.
Went to replace this today and found the cache still in place. The log was a sodden mess though so I replaced it. The O-ring has gone so I'll need to replace that soon otherwise the same thing will happen.
Nice peaceful garden. There were some muggles about so I had to be quick signing the log
A short stroll in the reserve and not too wet under foot despite recent rain. Thanks Isis58 for a fun cache in an area we hadn't explored before.
Having spent way too long inside with the rain, a couple of hours caching on a Sunday afternoon was the perfect remedy. Tregearp and I hadn't been to this park before. We were a tad cautious about the warning of wet ground given the heavy rain but it turned out it was damp but firm underneath.
A quick find with everything in good order. Thanks Isis58 for bringing us to a new reserve.

It's not the first time we have been here for a cache and so far we have a 100% success rate. This was found by Hazedarus while I inspected another spot near by.
Thank you Isis58.
Thank you Isis58.
There was a time that we had the area pretty much cached out and made the trip to find one new placement a bit long. Then there came a point that the wrong colour on the Tasman/Mot map started to deviate a bit much from yellow. The approximate ratio of cache finds to distance travelled to enjoying a beautiful sunny day couldn't be ignored anymore. The newest placement was chosen as a starting point and we took it from there. We made a few finds and were in the groove. Last time we visited this reserve for a cache it looked like it was the locals' private rubbish dump. Today it looked delightful with the grass mown, a walking track on the bank and new plantings. There were a few options at GZ but had no trouble finding the cache. Thank you Isis58
Found with UlmusLynx on this great Nelson day

Headed over this way to collect a cache that we had previously DNF'd on but there was a family nearby playing tennis so we had to flag it. Decided to come to this one seeing as we were nearish. Nice and quiet at GZ today and cache was a quick find. tftc
Having finished work early, it's way too nice a day to go home. Revisiting this quiet little spot was a great breath of fresh air.
Thanks very much!
Thanks very much!
After replacing my missing letterbox cache at the Riwaka Resurgence, I took a drive around a few of the new caches that have popped out in the area since I was last here. Not the first time I've been in this reserve for a cache. GPS took me straight to GZ for a nice quick find. TFTC, Biggles.
I had some maintainence to do In Riwaka and needed a few caches today so picked up a couple of new ones that have appeared since we were over here last. I think I've been to this reserve at least 3 times before. Nice quick find thanks Isis58

Paddle chick and I had been to the Cache Creation Event then headed to Riwaka Resurgence so pc could fix up her cache and get a few caches on the way home .A nice easy find Thanks for this cache Isis58
This was our main target for today, as we approached we realised that this is not the first time we have been to this wee park. What an asset for these houses to have in their back yard, such fun for the local kids.
We headed straight to GZ and GK mad a nice quick find, I signed the log and he put it back where he found it.
Then we wandered along and had a nashi from the tree before looking for an archived cache, that is long gone.
Then we headed to another area close by and went to look for another archived cache, turned out we found more than we were looking for, but more details about that later.
Thanks for the reason to come over here this afternoon and thanks for the smiley

A nice place for a cache , just the right time for ripe Nashies on the tree in the park yum. TFTC.
Out for a morning trip to check on 2 caches and hopefully find 4. We had finished the cache check part so here for the second find. A familiar area that we became far too familiar with for a previous find. No problem to find this one - Mrs S was checking one likely spot and SoBad another. One of us found it.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Out for a bit of a loop drive with bumandworker this morning.
This was the far end of the loop.
Our third cache in this park. Is it ever used by anybody else other than cachers and neighbours we wondered?
TFTC

What a great day! I came home from the most excellent event at Fossil Ridge Vineyard and pottered about - - - as you do. Next minute I noticed a couple of caches had been published, so off I headed to Stanley Brook and Tapawera. A half-successful mission. Had dinner, did this and that, I was aware that more caches had been published but didn't take much notice. Then suddenly I was off.
Found a cache at Mapua, then headed in this direction. Thank goodness I'd grabbed my power-pack on the way out the door because I got to within 2 kilometres of the cache and my phone suddenly died. It took a bit to coax it back to life - - - I was wondering what my chances would be of finding a cache when I didn't have the coordinates, but phew, the phone finally sprang back to life and I didn't need to find out.
I'm very pleased to report that for once in its life my phone took me to the exact spot where I needed to be and I arrived just in time to find the cache without the aid of the torch that I carried just in case. Phew, curfew adhered to. Thanks for the cache and the FTF .
