Found this afternoon on my way home from Glen Innes to Port Macquarie. Lovely series of caches in excellent condition. Enjoyed my leisurely drive through the countryside. Thanks Magpie cottage
Today we set out on a loop, first heading down the highway to Uralla and then returning via the Mihi Trail to reach Armidale late afternoon. We found some great caches along our way and explored Uralla completing caches and an Ad Lab.The Mihi Trail was an unexpected surprise as we really enjoyed the undulating countryside and a number of historic homes and farming buildings. The trail also pointed out a number of interesting features we may well have missed. A variety of hides, all in good condition and all easily found made for a pleasant drive.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache magpiecottage.**SKI Pair****
Reperio 16:04Day 2 of our tour of Tamworth caching trip, and Master Vitruvius and I decided to head out towards Uralla and Armidale, and eventually towards Hillgrove and Wollomombi. With lots of drive by caches, most the finds were nice and quick, with a few nicely crafted caches thrown into the mix. The most pleasingly part of the day was that nearly all the caches were available and found.Gratias magpiecottageAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Checked on this and found no container. The log has disintegrated. White ants v. busy. SO I have to rig up a replacement.
Until then you can log a find if you message me with the name of the flower (starting with U) from the faded sign across the road from GZ

A quick find, all of this series I attempted were easy finds and in good shape. TFTC
Grass was very long and made it hard. We’d seen a fresh red bellied black snake on the road about 1km from GZ so it was a warning that it’s dangerous out here in summer. Gave it a crack but abandoned after a few mins. Couldn’t find anything matching hint.
On a long weekend holiday in Armidale. Wanted to tick this trail off the list! Have done this drive a few times and is lovely as always. Phone jumped around a little but we still managed to find it. TFTC.
We are spending the long weekend camping at Dangars Gorge before moving to the Uralla Fossicking area so we are attempting this series in a couple of goes.
A lovely area on a nice drive. We parked the cat and crossed the road. Once again there was a clear geotrail heading to GZ which made for an easy find.
Thanks for the Cache!

Water stop. And a chance to learn about kangaroo grass and a local wallaby. A lovely trail thank you.
A gorgeous day to be caching in this most scenic of locations. Thanks for hiding this cache and giving us the opportunity to explore.
A quick and easy find, but not so lonely as a a rider on a road bike roared past, I could hear him for miles. Thanks magpiecottage for the cache
Nice sunny day and I decided to do a loop around the backroads. This turned out to be a spectacular drive and I took a few pics. Note that it’s an ecologically sensitive area. Very pretty wildflowers

A beautiful scenic drive along this back road. We saw a beautiful black stallion grazing with some sheep. Upon arriving near GZ was a sign talking about the Endangered Ecological Community and we weren’t expecting to see this sign out here.
A quick find was had at GZ.
Many thanks for bringing us here.

Found with the family on a post-lockdown adventure of gift shopping & lunch at a cafe in Uralla. We took the scenic route home & picked up some caches on the Mihi trail. All finds were in good condition. TFTC!
A wallaby was looking out for this cache, but was pretty happy for us to sign the log. TFTC
Nice quick find on a glorious day. Cut and paste logs do not detract from our enjoyment and appreciation of the work involved in putting out these trails. Thanks magpiecottage
Given the recent rains, while there is plenty of long grass and some damp patches, the short path to the cache was easy to navigate. Interesting info re the environmental zone here. You can see how high the water came last week too. TFTC magpiecottage.
Caching with Magpie Cottage and Baby Birt on Boxing Day. Dodging a storm as we do one of Magpiecottage's trails! TFTC magpiecottage 26 December 2020 16:03 # 503
Out geocaching today with Wanda wambat. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment magpiecottage

We were heading to Armidale with ilook4geo and this seemed the best route to take. We are glad we chose to go this way as we found all the caches in this series. The cache containers and hides were varied, The co-ords were good and we really enjoyed these finds. Thank you magpiecottage for this lovely country roads caching tour.
Came on a caching hunt today with goingplaces2. Found this to be a fun trail and liked all the different hides. It was a lovely drive. Thanks for the series.
The sun was setting and I decided to get as much of this series done while I had light. The kangaroos at dusk brought it to an earlier end, but made it as far as Mihi. Tftc.

After what has felt like an eternity, we are finally taking our first geocaching road trip since Clear Waters with Crzymelly, TeamPQS and HubbyandMrs.
Today was another 'trail' day. We elected to complete the Mihi Trail from Armidale to Uralla before lunch and potential rain. Then with a belly full of food, search out the Uralla caches.

Let me start by thanking the cache owner for the time and effort they have put into caching for ourselves and others to enjoy.
Most will be cut and paste logs but in no way does that mean we don't appreciate your efforts
At the end of day 2 my gps reset its self and in the process deleted all my comments so I can't really remember which was what. sorry
Also forgat to say found with Staybe and co.

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 5. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we moved north to Armidale, but not in a straight line. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost every cache.

Day 5 of our trip. Packed up the rather wet campsite and headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be another big days caching. We aimed to cache our way up to Armidale. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

After setting up at GEONO's residence we decided that we would do their Lab caches and then this little trail to work through the afternoon. Nice little series some logs were damp, unfortunately we only had one dry log left so were unable to replace all the damp ones.

I was home in Uralla - but only for two days. I’ve had my eye on this trail for a while. I’ve travelled the road a few times and knew it was a nice drive. Saw a logical spot, and there was the cache. A nice drive in the country! Thanks Magpiecottage!
Beautiful spot to stop and soak in nature. Fp for bringing me here tftc magpiecottage

We are on our war to Blackall, our 1st overnight stop is at Uralla . A new trail from Uralla to Armidale has popped up since we were last in the area.
This was a lovely farming country drive, although at present it is so dry.
Viewing many of the farm houses we passed this must have been or still is a very prosperous area,
So much work gone into placing & maintaining this trail. FP for the effort.
Thankyou for placing this cache

A nice change with the wooded area. Never knew that the trees were called Ribbon because of the bark piling up at the base of the trees.
