### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by thylacin and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer
Fourth visit here. Finally managed not to arive at high tide. Nice easy walk to GZ but was unable to find a cache or a location that really represented the hint on this visit. I'll put this one on watch and come back another time. Only two caches to go on Bruny now
I found this one before some years ago, but can't remember it's exact hide. Searched around for a while but no luck.
Spent a good 45 minutes at GZ searching for this one but sadly didnt locate it TFTH the walk was fabulous. Well apart from when we came across a massive seal on the rocks who went berserk at us. My heart had a big shock, it made a dash for the water and all was good
Well, we are like many cachers, only read half the description, then next day, as we did actually prepare the day before, quickly forget them. After looking up the tides, don’t apply it to the cacheAnyway, we found the way in. We parked at the suggested place and had a lovely walk, until we realised the tide was coming in. How much time did we have? Mr Unssy left me 300 away and quickly went to retrieve and stamp. What a beautiful walk.
Having kayaked across to Killora Bay from Conningham we were about to venture northward when I thought I might check to see if there were any caches in the vicinity. Voila. We managed to beach ourselves about 30m from the cache and after missing it the first time, I found the cache on checking again in what had appeared to be the likely spot. There is certainly some interesting history here, and some lovely scenery. Thanks for the cache, thylacin.
Found on 2/4/2023; find number 1626.
Out exploring Nth Bruny today from our house sit nearby . A very scenic drive. It pays to read the cache notes after pulling up at the top of the hill and finding our way barred by private property, we backtracked, parked near the walkway to the beach and enjoyed the slightly longer walk than we’d bargained for. But the day was perfect and the views and sandstone cliffs with their incredible patterns and erosion more than made up for that.
We were fortunate with tides and although it was on the way back in, we didn’t get wet, or have to scramble.
Another awesome Bruny cache.
Thanks for the hunt and the cache thylacin.

Twice I have tried this cache, once from the top last year 1/1/20 and this year we parked at the given waypoint and made the way along got 300m from the cache and unfortunately the water was way too high and couldn’t get there. Hopefully 3rd time lucky
Out and about caching on a nice autumn day and found your cache along the way. A nice walk along the beach and sandstone cliffs to GZ, and excellent place to visit.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We didn’t realise we had to go via the beach. Was in the car and missed it.
Bugger. No where to pull Over in the car once up on the road.

Easy find while enjoying a walk along the beach. Didn't take a pencil, couldn't sign the log. TFTC
found on an afternoon that was drizzly but the morning was memorable for paddling to a sandstone quarry on the point, TFTC TNLN log dry.
Thanks for the cache thylacin.
RLD4963 and I enjoyed three days on Bruny Island, which we'd had planned for months. During the week the weather forecast looked terrible, it was a case of either very windy, or very rainy. We looked at doing this one yesterday, but we had just walked the historic trail at Dennes Point, and we had had enough of the wind, so decided to leave this one for today. Luckily today it was nice and calm, but it was heavily overcast and a little bit drizzly. We timed our visit for close to low tide, so we headed off from EeePees suggested starting spot at about 4pm and enjoyed the lovely walk. Although the weather was a bit gloomy, the sandstone formations along from the end of the beach were beautiful. Once we got to GZ it was a nice, quick find and we added our names to the log. Thanks for placing a cache here.

Hello thylacin thank you for the cache
It was a lovely walk along the foreshore luckily the tide wasn't any higher as it would have made it a bit more difficult in spots.
As it was there was a few slippery spots.
Your cache was easily found.
Today I was caching with EeePees on Bruny Island. The weather didn't look that great when I left home but turned out to be an ok day.
As usual caching with EeePees was another great day.

We were at Margate as Mr W was watching bowls and Mrs W was finding 3 new caches in the area. When she went to collect him we decided to continue on to find a newly published challenge cache on the island. We arrived at Kettering and OMG there was a queue at 11.30 am in the morning. All up it took us 2 hours from arriving at Kettering until we arrived and found the new cache! There were 3 ferries running but they only hold a few cars, so the queue moved very slowly. As we had paid $38.00 we decided to continue North to find this cache and check on our caches as well. We parked at the access point mentioned by EPs which can be found at S43 04.901 E147 20.365 and enjoyed the stroll to GZ. A lovely beach. TFTC
Found with my ever faithful geo companion charlie. Oddly lined up rocks gave us the clue we needed. Very snugly hidden behind this protective row.
#first cache of the decade.

Up early so we could guarantee to get on the ferry today, a 10 minute wait was all we had before loading.
A lovely stroll along the beach and rocks to GZ. Some great formations here. It took a while to find the well hidden cache, even my PAF was struggling with his memory.
Thanks thylacin, happy new year

With TaurusSix I drove to close by and quickly realised the mistake. We back-tracked and enjoyed a pleasant walk along the beach. The geology of the area looks amazing.
TaurusSix spied the hide quickly. Left a TB.

Enjoyed the walk to GZ with the geo-crew on a blustery afternoon. Many thanks thylacin
Hooray! This was a fantastic little walk and I had lots of fun! Found the cache safe and snug. Thanks!
When this was first published, we were captivated by the interesting historical information on the cache page. This weekend we decided to camp on the island and found ourselves in search of this cache. It was a stunning day and the water was almost like glass. Loved the rock formations on the way too, a beautiful spot! TFTC!

I wasn’t quite sure if we found the right car park as the GPS was pointing a good 2 km away from where we were but since we’re on a family holiday and exploring beautiful places is the purpose of our trip then we decided to take a walk along the beach. We were absolutely shocked by the amount of starfish dead along the shoreline and we were wondering why they were there so that something we are going to google later. Hanging rock was simply amazing it was a little bit spooky to be standing under it but well worth the walk thank you for this amazing Geocache I am puffed but very very happy
Yay! FTF @ 3pm 3/3/2019.
Hi thylacin, thanks for the cache. Spotted the listing early this morning, but we were on the way to a celebratory breakfast at the Casino. Later, after an extremely light lunch, decided to catch the ferry to see if the cache was still unfound, and combine a trip to the beach.
Found an access track to the beach (with very limited parking) a little closer than Stinky Creek, with GZ about 900metres away. geoSon and geoMum stayed there at the beach, and I enjoyed a pleasant walk to GZ, where a quick find ensued.
Nice to find an empty logbook too.
A great spot, thanks, a fav point.
Thanks also for the considerable history lesson.
Cheers!
