Out for a day of caching with KerriMG and with my new car. We decided to head west for today’s adventures.
Lovely area for a walk but we were wondering how high the water got in this year’s floods. After reading some logs that the cache might be a little high up and not being the tallest of people we came armed with a tool of the trade which worked a treat and we quickly had the cache in hand.

Out for the day with nikid1 on the first day of Spring & what a lovely Brisvegas day it was. This was our last cache for the day. Having read some previous logs before arriving we came armed with out TOTT of choice & made quick work of retrieving the cache.
Thanks for the cache stuvic

Found it with SilverByte, quite easy. Log book full, needs replacement please. Lovely riverside walk. TFTC
I didn’t quite understand the reason for the name of the cache. Once we reached GZ we quickly spotted it just out of reach. Luckily we brought a TOTT because we were not aware that that would be necessary. It was, however, an improvised TOTT, so replacement was still a little on the comical side. Luckily we didn’t have a stream of muggles to observe our attempts. Thanks stuvic
A quick find. Log was brim full so unfortunately had to write over the top of somebody else’s name. No room in cache for a scrap of paper.TFTC
Out caching with RoddyC and Hatsoff to do a bit of maintenance then find some other caches.
Found a park not too far away and took the short walk to GZ. Luckily I had a TOTT with me to help with the retrieval of cache between Muggles walking dogs etc. Signed by all and cache replaced as found. TFTC

Quick find for the first cache of the day. Day off so we are just out for a small wander.
Literally a 2 second find. Fun for me to climb up into the tree and grab Log was full so I shoved my name into a spot between two other names. TFTC
I dropped the car off for service up the road, and had the bike in the back to ride home. I wanted a find today to filling another hole on the calendar. I parked the bike at exactly the right spot but doubted myself and looked around a bit. When I can back I spotted it. I could retrieve it easily but had to stand on my bike to return it to the location I found it. Now to ride home! Thanks Stuvic
Joel881 was keen to learn more about geocaching. So we volunteered and took him on a walking circuit to look for 4 of them. The turmoils rode their bikes.
At this cache, I was busy explaining how the GPS isn't always accurate and that you just need to look around....when he said "does it look like this?" Ok...smartypants, yes it does.

Found where there didn’t seem to be many possibilities. Added a small strip of paper that has space for at few more names but the log does need to be replaced TFTC
This morning, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I took baby Warren on a walk along Brisbane River in Jindalee and Seventeen Mile Rocks. It was warm and sunny, and although it wasn't as shady as I thought it may be, it was still a nice walk along the path, finding a few brush turkeys hunting around for some grub. We finished our walk in Rocks Riverside Park, where we took a loop around the industrial relics, and finished our outing with a nearby café lunch.
We continued our walk along the path, and made a stop here, where we did need to search left then right, then back left again, where we made the reasonably quick find. The cache container was in good shape, but as others have mentioned, the logbook is full, hence it could use a replacement. There were a few brush turkeys foraging around this area, including one that seemed to have built itself a hole/nest. Thanks stuvic for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

With an early mark on this Friday afternoon, it was great to get out after work and come for a walk in this beautiful area. Such lovely pathways that run along the river here. It was fairly quiet and at GZ we had the place to ourselves.
We got lucky with this one, and Mr Domsky spotted almost immediately.
Thanks Stuvic. It’s lovely to visit this area.

One person on the flying fox this afternoon so not much stealth was required.
Made the moves necessary to retrieve and replace this one when the lone flying-foxer had their back to GZ. Signed BOB where I could on the damp, full log.

An invite from Kestal to help her fill in time while she was in Brisbane saw us spend a few hours dodging showers and finding a few random caches...there was no 'to do' list today - just whatever was closest. Weather was only suitable for ducks...or bush turkeys cause that's all we saw. TFTC stuvic.
With the rain falling we ducked off to this one from the car. Thankfully Eskies5 eagle eyes caught this one swinging in the breeze. Signed our names, returned and we were on our way. TFTC stuvic
This was a very quick find while out on a pre-lunch on Easter Sunday. I'd checked the app to see what was around, and decided this to be my first (and indeed only) find today. Chances are I would have likely spotted this anyway, as I spotted it quite out in the open. Makes me wonder if at some point it was hidden a little more covertly at some point.

Last and easiest of four caches found today in this area. Log seems to be full but able to sign over what seems to be old blurry logs. Tftc
My daughter Pinkypie05 and myself wanted to find an easy wheelchair friendly cache today so that we could get our International Geocaching Day souvenir. This one was exactly that. TFTC!
My mum mnance101 and myself decided to do this cache. It was a nice walk. TFTC and for bringing us here!
Out over this side of town for a while today, taking muggle Mum geopup for a walk somewhere different and of course to collect a few caches.
A quick find between groups of passing muggles, a bit of a wait to retrieve and return the cache, but managed to do so in the end.
All is good with the cache stuvic, thank you for bringing us here.

I arrived right in the middle of the afternoon busy period for walkers and joggers.
Luckily, I spotted the cache without much searching and then timed my grab and replace between passing muggles

After a lovely day at Rocks Riverside Park I opted to ride the son's bike home, the long way. Always good to find excuses to pick up a few smilies. Thankfully this was a quick grab on the way past. The bikepath was like Queen St this afternoon. TFTC!
I’d already managed to spot this fella in late February just before the lockdown kicked off, but had reached into my pocket only to find I had committed the cardinal sin of forgetting my BYOP. Felt good to return today to finish the deed after all that time. TFTC
Blkthunder found this while I was following the GPS further and further into the long grass... anyway tftc....
With the Covid-19 lock downs in full force my previous maximum streak of days without finding a cache were was now well and truly blown out of the water. With the month of April almost finished and not a single cache found so far this month, it was time to rectify the situation. I had to run a permitted errand and manged to find a cache that would require very little detour on the drive home.
Despite the restrictions there were still a few muggle runners out on the path that I had to beware of while I made the find but they were far enough apart that the recovery, signing and replacement were managed unobserved.

Walked passed here many times not realising there was a cache nearby. Quick easy find. TFTC
On my way to Brissy for the week-end with Grand Poobah to catch up with a few friends.
We had a little extra time to detour via a couple of caches.
A quick find here today.
Thanks for the cache.

As always there is time for a couple of caches on route.

I decided today to take my bike for a ride along this path and find gather some smileys. I clicked up 12km in all today and loved this bike ride. At gz the hint helped for a quickish find. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

Time for Mrs VC to get Mr VC & Winter the Geo-Cat out of the house for some fresh air so a-caching we must go!
Having no idea where Mrs VC had in mind for today I just drove where the GPSr indicated & let Mrs VC have her way with me.
This was the #8 of 11 caches found today.
A nice quick find once a lingering muggle moved on.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

A gorgeous spring morning was spent collecting smilies and dodging marauding magpies south of the river. Nice quick find here
