Logs
On this most sacred of days, Achilles took a walk to reflect and remember, with some treasure hunting as well.
Found on a nice trek with the geokids. Unfortunately the cache lid was cracked and it was full of water so I couldn’t sign the log. Drained it out, but everything is soaked. Will need some maintenance. TFTC
Completely full of water but log dry in bag! lid cracked, may need replacing!
Thank you macgyver1973 for placing and maintaining Macgyver3 "Brooklyns Hidey Spot" for us and others to find and enjoy!

Nice quick find with a fresh log.
Nice quick find with a fresh log.
An early start on a fresh wintry morning walking around the sand tracks picking up some smileys. This was one I found. There was water in the container snd a very wet log. I put a new log and ziplock bag in along with the old one..Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks macgyver1973 for this one.
A quick find this time for Geo-Bunny. SL Replaced as found ready for the next geo-adventurers. Thanks goes to the CO for bringing us to this location. TFTH TFTC.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Out in the coldest day this Spring. Very wet and even hail. Not letting the bad weather but me off I still managed to find a few.
By the afternoon I was greeted with mostly blue skies and no rain. That’s a win!

Out and about with richlink on a blustery miserable day, but that doesn't keep a dedicated geocacher down.
The boys walked the track while the girls took care of a few outlying caches. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Geo-hubby’s walked the track taking advantage of a lull in the rain to make a quick find. Thanks for the hide.
On our return to the car to collect the caches we had noted this hidey spot and made comment of the location , was nice to see that this was a stop. Cache is in good condition with some swag to grab - Geokids took some treasures and we put some back to keep it going. Today we learnt the Geokid#2 has a wealth of knowledge on the Cane Toad - family walks bring around random conversations. TFTC
I had to drop my car off in Mandurah so took the Better Half on a little side trip caching on the way.
This was where we left the freeway so decided to top and do all the caches down along this track.
Cache found without problems. Log signed and cache returned as found.
Thanks macgyver1973 for placing this cache for us to find.

Enjoying a caching run on this nice sunny afternoon with the geopooches. Enjoying the kookaburras in the background laughing as we started searching. We soon had your cache and logged our names into your logbook and returned your cache back to where it resides. Now on to the last one. TFTC macgyver1973.
Collecting the last three smilies around here with axell33 and the geopups on our day off. We got the others quite a while ago now so it was a beaut day on all counts. The pups loved the run. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
A cooler, ovecast day is the perfect time to tackle this little series.

Hi there macgyver1973.
We found your cache **"Macgyver 3 "Brooklyns Hidey Spot""** today. (This makes our find count 23567).
Following through on our passion of walking around parks, lakes and along walking tracks we decided to attempt some caches in the Paganoni Swamp Reserve area today. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk and the scenery. We found 7 caches today & DNF'd 1. Unfortunately there has been a fire through here and some of the caches we found were damaged. This one was found out in the open, so we hid it a little better
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends. Thanks also for not placing a mint tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you macgyver1973 for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Second dnf of the day, lots of holes and I'm on my own and not keen to keep sticking my hands in them lol reminds me of never ending story or the Labrinth movie even my stick didn't help. Thanks anyway I will return
There has been a few new caches popping up close to home and we decided to head to this area and grab a few smilies. The geodog had fun here too! Cheers and TFTC.

All quiet at home, not much happening and then the magic words were spoken....."Why don't you go grab a few caches" well I did not have to be told twice. A quick scan of the map, grabbed the GPSr and off to Jarrahdale to complete, well at least try to, complete a series.
Soft sand makes for a slightly harder walk.

Geobuddy marke8183 only had a few hours to spare for caching this swing back from his fifo job, and having been cooped up at home after a recent accident, I thought that some fresh air and exercise was just what we both needed. We tackled the first few of these ones by parking at the southern end and walking northwards. Didn't spot much wildlife out here today, but saw plenty of tracks - kangaroo, emu, goanna, rabbit (?), and some others that we weren't able to identify (like a large cat or something, maybe foxes, not sure though). Could only identify two sets of human footprints going in either direction though - thought there would have been more than that. Found this next one without any problems, signed, replaced as found, then off to the next one, bypassing those found on previous visits to RLRP. Nice to have a reason to come back out here. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches for the rest of us to come and find macgyver1973.
PS Dropped off a trackable here to continue its journey.

Time to catch up on 6 weeks worth of logging to see how close i am to my next milestone.
This was another successful evening hunting an FTF with the usual crew of with Barnzy 12, Cravo10 and OOH YEH we were also joined by Jackylegs44 and HorsesRule1990 along the way.
We then grabbed a few more along the way while we were at it, I had been here previously so some caches I'd found but the sandy tracks had got the better of me in the heat, enjoyed it more this visit with no sun and good company.

Met up with Jackylegs44 and Horserule1990 who was also chasing after the FTF. After grabbing that cache we continued on to find a few more caches. Walking in the soft sand was hard work and I think we definitely got a workout tonight lol...TFTC macgyver1973
Out with Cravo10, OOH YEH, WebblyWA, Jackylegs44 and HorsesRule1990.
Saw a new cache down these parts, so decided to head out with the usual crew and managed to meetup with JL44 and HR1990 on the walk to the cache. Ended up completing the whole walk and picked up a few extras that some had got and others hadn’t.
A nice walk, albeit a bit sandy, managed to stick to the edges where it was a bit more solid sand.
Thanks MacGyver for the cache.

You would think that this would be a quiet trek. Not today as there are trucks, graders & water trucks going in and out upgrading the fire break. The caches are safe though. TFTC
Joint Ftf with Cirrus-wa and Horsesrule1990. Lovely evening for a walk. Not to hot or cold.all caches found with ease. Thanks to MacGyver for your hide., and can't wait to see what come next. Tftc. sl tnln.
{*FTF*} @ 21:16 with Jackylegs44 & Horsesrule1990.
Made it down to this one after continuing through the soft stuff and we spotted a likely hide location while approaching GZ.
A systematic search soon had the cache in hand and another FTF for the night.
Now to head home with a peace offering for the boss.
Thanks macgyver1973 for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1416 for me.
