Did not find, looked everywhere but could not see. Will definitely try again later!
After our DNF at #2, we thought we'd try for #3, which had been found in May. Wanted a find today towards the current Wheel of Challenges: Out and About. Alas, after another careful search, we came up empty. The was some flood debris in and around GZ, so we hope the container was securely attached to something immovable. Our thanks anyway to shack1961.
Flood signs debris. Should be a W3W somewhere. Out on trusty treadles (aka MTB) On a merry mighty multi mission that includes this LGA. Good reason to explore marvellous Melbs and it’s many parks. Nice spot for the citizens to wander. Wow factor is how high did that river rise? TFTC and the fun!
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there shack1961,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Took the geo-pup for an adventure along the Maribyrnong River to pick up some caches.

Found it, log was on the ground, cache was closed and still in position.
All fixed up now....tftc

The started like was glitching when I found it it was all wet in a tree so I couldn’t write my name
Such a stunning day to do this series. Especially on a winter's day.
The log was a little wet, but did not restrict me in logging my find. A quick one here after choosing the correct side of the host.

It’s a shack1961 afternoon as Starruby and I enjoyed the river views on a sunny Saturday afternoon. (Thanks for the caches )( had a dinner engagement on this side of town)
We found 6 caches of the series.
This was the second cache found.
Once we had the right angle and the satellites aligned a quick find resulted.

Finally managed to find an afternoon to explore shack1961 territory! After a delay in the loop due to a police operation at Southern Cross station, I got off the train at Albion station and rode clockwise along the beautiful Maribyrnong river, aiming to end up at Footscray station.
This was the second cache for today.
I briefly wondered where it could be, then smiled when I spotted it
Bag and logsheet are very wet so added a new bag and some sheets of stone paper.

I found something that may have had something to do with the cache. After reading about the cache I looked down and found it beside one of my feet. Thanks again shack1961. This is it for today.
So many muggles! They briefly parted and the cache was quickly in hand and signed. Then waiting waiting waiting for two sets of meandering slow moving muggles prevented replacement of the cache for some time
Surprisingly simple find that took longer than we would care to admit haha. Log is full in this bad boy so will need a replacement TFTC
Nice one. Needs more log paper and no pencil. Left a couple of stickees for the next lucky finder. TFTC.
Great hide! Kids had a ball finding this. Watch out for bikes and dog walkers though
The weather today was much better than originally forecast. I had cut my camping trip short so as not to pack up in the rain, only to find blue sky and sunshine.
Found the cache quickly. It is just sitting out in the open. Tried to tuck it in a little better.
Thanks shack1961 for the cache.

Found 19/6. The upgraded park and pathways are great. Cache only had one small page and didn’t appear to be hidden.
Nice quick find once some bike traffic past. Cache in good order and some lovely views of the river from this spot. Thanks,

Out and about with echidna44 for a great day of caching. This was our last for the day after enjoying discovering some very interesting inventions in style and NO DNF. Thanks shack1961 for a great day of caching. This was a nice easy one.
Even though on occasions i have a fair idea of what I'm looking for and where i need to find it, my eyes just let me down.
This was one of those occasions.
Even resorted to previous logs for a hint.
Easy find.
Easy find.
Didn't make me feel any better. Ha.
Glad to say the cache was found exactly where it should be. In plain sight.

Out with xambo4u, we had a great day with no DNFs, even though quite a few were marvellous gadget caches
Last cache for the day. We were tired and wet, and glad it was a quick find as we can now head home. Thanks shack1961.

Thank you so much for this!
Thank you so much for this!
A trip into The Burbs was in order today for SorceySal, myself and Bree the geopuppy.
The plan was to do the Valley Lake series and the River Views series doing most of them on foot to give us all a good stretch of the legs on a beautiful Summer's day in the mid20s.
This was one of the first for the day
Thanks for the fun here shack1961

Out for a day of caching with Bogonghazy and Bree the geodog in the suburbs for a change with a few walks on the agenda. A great walk along the river today collecting caches along the way.
Really enjoying the walk along here. Thanks shack1961

Attended the morning tea event that was held in Deer Park this morning.
It was great to catch up with friends that i have not seen for nearly 12 months.
After the event a plan was hatched and i teamed up with ahomburg, beckNmonts and Manfred crocodile to spend the early afternoon finding a few caches around the area.
We headed off towards the Maribyrnong River, found some where to park and met up and then headed off along the walking path.
With Manfred leading the way sniffing out the cache (well that’s what I was hoping for so to save us some work)
The cache was soon located and we added our names and onto the next one.
Thanks shack1961 TFTC.

I headed to the event in Deer Park, stopping at a new nearby cache, then some more caching with Alansee after the event. This turned out to be a nice quick and easy find.
Many thanks to shack1961 for the cache.
Many thanks to shack1961 for the cache.
After this one was found, I suggested I walk ahead as Manfred was not the fastest Walker in the group. However, I was quickly distracted by a pair of discarded underwear, perfect for Possums to post to a certain Facebook group! Thanks for placing the cache shack1961.
Great easy idea for a hide.
Got my final wonder of the world and my souvenir for it.
Thanks for bringing me to the other side of the river. I'll have to cross over again some time.
