### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there shack1961,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Nice moring for a walk round the river.
I've found a similar product before.
So the hunt was fairly quick.
Signed the log and was on my way.

Found by Mary and David at at 15:35. At last we have a close view of the meandering Maribyrnong. Another FP for this effort. Our thanks to shack1961.
It’s a shack1961 afternoon as Starruby and I enjoyed the river views on a sunny Saturday afternoon. (Thanks for the caches )( had a dinner engagement on this side of town)
We found 6 caches of the series.
We headed east as we knew the light would be fading - so headed to this cache as the third one found. Just off the path Starruby noticed the cache first with its camouflage. Signed and returned.

Took a couple minutes to find and needed help to reach it. Great spot, thanks shack1961!!
Homer did a D’OH and went the opposite way, you’re going towards the riverbank! TFTC
Finally managed to find an afternoon to explore shack1961 territory! After a delay in the loop due to a police operation at Southern Cross station, I got off the train at Albion station and rode clockwise along the beautiful Maribyrnong river, aiming to end up at Footscray station.
This was the sixth cache for today and nice to have a quick find again! Nice cammo - maybe from a different species though

Grass is a bit long and there's some spiders so I'm not risking it. I'm scared of spiders.
Couldn't get the first two this morning up the hill, so glad I did get this one. I love shack1961's caches, they always have character. Now I just have to get a bit better at finding her others! This is a lovey bit of river, I kayaked along here last week.
Finally got down to this one…the bison tube was indeed missing.
All replaced and ready for off.
Cheers

Couldn’t find. Banksia seed pod with a hook in it was hanging on the tree. 4/9/21
Couldn’t find it..kept foraging in the bushes and looking up. Found a pine cone with a hook on it that looked suspicious but nothing attached or hidden inside
Cool cache container which I don't think matched the tree species. But anyhow, was a quick find along the river. Thanks

Had to look around for this one but I think it shows a great view of the river as portrayed by the title. good job!
This ended up being my last find for the day. The showers had sent me packing a bit earlier and this was on the way back up to the ute. Yup, just plain old missed it on the way passed here the first time.
I have this electric bike that allows my carcass to motor along quite quickly and it turns out it fits into the ute just nicely. So clearly i was going at quite a pace down the hill here. Easy to miss one.

Out and about with echidna44 for a great day of caching. Really enjoying our walks through these green belts in the area. Having just down close by we continued to this one. Amazed at the quality of the walking/bike track here. (our taxes at work). Nice easy find .Nice camo Least I can see the river from here. Great day after enjoying discovering some very interesting inventions in style and variations and NO DNF's. Thanks shack1961 for a great day of caching
Out with xambo4u, we had a great day with no DNFs, even though quite a few were marvellous gadget caches
Lucky quick find and sign here. Well disguised. Thanks shack1961.

A trip into The Burbs was in order today for SorceySal, myself and Bree the geopuppy.
The plan was to do the Valley Lake series and the River Views series doing most of them on foot to give us all a good stretch of the legs on a beautiful Summer's day in the mid20s.
Thanks for the fun here shack1961

Out for a day of caching with Bogonghazy and Bree the geodog in the suburbs for a change with a few walks on the agenda. A great walk along the river today collecting caches along the way.
Great co ords for a quick find. Thanks shack1961

Last one for today as it was starting to get up into the 30's by now. I like a nice camo cache and this one was one of those. TFTC
I headed to the event in Deer Park, stopping at a new nearby cache, then some more caching with Alansee after the event. Another nice quick find for us.
Thanks to shack1961 for the cache.
Thanks to shack1961 for the cache.
My first time on the other side of the river.
Great hide. Took me a bit of searching, then spotted something that didnt look quite in the right place. Bingo.
Thanks.

Thanks.
A terrifying amount of stink bugs meant I was out, but Reegan searched and searched and finally found this beauty! Tftc
It was difficult to find but eventually we found it and was really fun to do with other people
The entrance to this location was pretty worn which was the biggest help. Well done, this was my first, so wasn't sure what to expect.
Just disabling this one for a day or so. On riding past I found it in the open with the log missing. At least they left the unique container alone. Will get a new log and put it back together ASAP
After looking at the trail trodden in the tall grass, it made it much clearer to find this one. Tftc
With the ease on restrictions. I am slowly enabling my hides. Encouraging all continue to practise social distancing and above all, sanitising and good hygiene while caching..so that we can continue.
Cheers all and happy caching!
Cheers all and happy caching!
I am disabling all of my caches temporarily in accordance with the regulations for the safety of the community, until this terrible time is over and we can resume our beloved hobby. Until then, stay safe everyone.
Cheers,
Sharon

A quick find with Shadow the geodog at 5:30pm. This was our last for the day - time to head back to the car after a nice afternoon finding a few caches and walking the dog.
thanks shack1961.
thanks shack1961.
Found this one after a few minutes. We should have, however, read previous logs first and one of us may not have gotten an ankle full of stinging nettles! This didnt stop us as we continued our trail to log off more caches
Nice camo. Ran into some stinging nettles and was on the lookout for snakes. SL quickly then got out of there! TFTC
Another reasonably quick find. Careful of the nettles! My little finger is still tingling several hours later. TFTC
