Frustrating! Which v tree could it be in or up? People say easy, but not for me!!
Went to a couple of easy park and grabs in Kambah after the event close by. Parked right in front of the coordinates and the oval was empty as the sun started to set so no problems with muggles. Nice and easy find!Thank you Groot_1983 for the cache!
A quick stop in late this evening in an attempt to keep up my streak. I wasnt quite sure on the suggestions of the gps and ended up searching multiple trees for the cache to no avail, disturbing a lizard from his sleep in the process.I actually ended up looking through the logs and found a photo which pointed me in the correct direction, and I had another search for the cache, digging a bit more thoroughly this time, before finding it. Pretty soon it was signed and returned. Thanks for the cache!
Found on a beautiful sunny winter's day with a good geofriend who was visiting from interstate. A quick find and sign before we were off to the next one. Plenty of work to do today. TFTC Dragon 1982
Good quick find with Smittengranny while in town for a few days.
Thanks Dragon 1982....cache all good.

F(H)ound It! #3844 @ 11:45 AM
A quick find while filling in time between two client appointments this morning.
I was so sure I would do more caching after I retired but I have been so busy
A vindication of a previous DNF. Last time I came here the place was crawling with Muggles.
Today it was completely quiet and I made a quick find.

Had to dig a bit to locate this cache but got there eventually. TFTC Dragon 1982!
After a slight disagreement between the geo kids as to which direction to head we managed to locate the cache with ease.

#1586 Fourth of five in this series this afternoon. Getting close to completing the set. One yet to look for and one DNF I’ll need to revisit another day! Thanks Dragon1982!
Out caching today with Barb2e on an urban cache run. Another quick find here with the ovals and car park empty. Thanks for hiding this cache Dragon 1982

Avenging a previous DNF. This time it was a quick and easy find, TFTC Dragon 1982.
Nibletricecakes and I headed out to Kambah today to avenge a dnf on this cache, explore an AL and checkout a street that has put a lot of effort into Halloween decorating. This one was quickly found. Thanks for maintaining it.
Yay!!! DNF avenged! Great to be able to make the find with GLISS! This afternoon. Always good to turn a frown to a smile. Thanks for the cache.
#12245 - 2:29:00 PM; Out on a run to Kambah to get some numbers up for the day. After an unsuccessful attempt at a nearby multi, I made this the second stop and while the GPSr took a bit to settle, cache located in the obvious spot. TFTC Dragon 1982
After a long week at home working, the opposite of fun, I found a few trips to make over the long weekend. After yesterdays walk around Coolamon Ridge, I felt I should visit some of the ground based caches in the area that the others have already done. Having done a few walks and climbs, the remaining caches were in the suburbs.
Thanks for the cache Dragon 1982

Searched around the trees for about 10 minutes and did not find it. Can the CO check on this one?
On our way home after cycling ??? ??? around and up the Wanniassa Hills.
Given the other DNFs, the rating, and the coordinates being in the middle of the road this cache needs to be reviewed.
We also searched all the trees across the road without luck. Then the sheds, fence and container.
Looking forward to coming back once it’s been found again.

Coords placed gz in the middle of the street :0 anyway had a look around the trees but no luck
Sorry but could not find after lots is searching. A hint could help. I looked all around the base, amongst the branches and even above my head. Do I need a ladder? I scratched around the base which is difficult, fighting my way around the shrubbery. I will have another look for it next time my granddaughter plays cricket here. Thanks for a tough one.

This was the hardest one for me today and think a Muggle walking around the Oval passed me twice as I thrashed around. Sat down, read all the logs, took off my glasses and shade and dived in again! Lots of bottles, old cigarette packets and god know what else and, when I did finally spot it and moved position to get a bit closer, I lost it again!! Hands and knees, puffing and stretching and the deed was done. Talk about looking like having been pulled from a bush backwards - that's me! Even though I hated it, I'm giving it a fave - thanks, Dragon 1982.
Had arranged with the FFLL ladies to spend the day attending the Community Celebration Event and picking up some caches in the southern suburbs. It was a nice day out and about although we did get drizzled on a few times.
After attending the event, we continued around picking up a few caches. No issues with this one, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache placement Dragon 1982 and thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun day out and about.

Arranged with Rapidlywild to attend the Community Celebration Event together and get some other caches on this side of town beforehand and afterwards if the weather held out. The weather had its moments but mainly stayed dry which made for a pleasant day.
After the event we continued picking up some caches on the south side.
Quick find at this one.
Thanks for the hide Dragon 1982 and thanks Rapidlywild for the fun.

I had a few minutes before the start of the nearby Celebration event so decided to swing by to find this one and also claim a Modern Wonder. A muggle was inconveniently parked very close to GZ with his drone plane and he was most interested in what I was up to - he said he'd done something similar with scouts a long time ago. Found easily. TFTC.
Lo and behold...when I pulled up there always a muggle parked RIGHT in front of the cache, so I had to bide my time at the other end of the carpark and wait for him to leave. Finally got to hunting...the muggle on the other side of the oval didn't seem concerned with me sticking my head in a bush, so I managed to go about my business. Back to the car for a sign, and was just about to replace when I noticed another muggle tracking towards me on the path. Sigh....more of the waiting game. Back into it's home the log goes, and we're away! TFTC!
I was hoping it wasn't the odd shoe that has been thrown in the tree and thankfully, it wasn't. I've noticed Canberra caches are either so simple or you really gotta think harder. This one falls in the simple category but yet, I thought too hard of its whereabout. TFTC.
Soooo, with all the "self- isolation" going on, Aquilus1 and my original plans for going further afield went up in smoke, but that was OK as we ended up going around Tuggernaong cleaning up the caches here and there that we were missing. There were a few that both of us had not found, and quite a few just one of us had logged previously.
Tuggeranong Hill was a feature, and I have to say I dont understand why it only gets the moniker "hill'... it felt much like Mt Taylor and the contour lines tell me they are roughly the same height.
We even found a letterbox, ammo can and all, with a PROPER stamp! none of this kids stamp set rubbish we have seen of late...
I was a little sad as I felt like a Goodberries today... I havent had one for maybe 10 years, its certainly been a while...but they are closed for the entire weekend. Always the way hey.
Sorry for the generic log, we did so many today....

The final "Watch Sports" cache for myself and DSD tonight whilst in the area. Very thankful for the CO's recent note saying the cache is still here though! We wouldn't have even bothered coming to search in the dark otherwise with 4 DNF's! So it shows the importance of CO's confirming the hide is in place and we are thankful for that!
Can see why it has been missed a few times recently, the hide is well concealed and not in the most obvious place for a micro. The coordinates are SPOT on however and the cache is indeed in the only spot it could be, so don't give up!
It could potentially be a D2 however considering the muggle factor and micro sized cache in a bush.
Thanks!

Just went to check if it was missing or need to replace. Just checked still there it hasn't run away
19,163. Found on a beautiful spring day in Canberra and surrounds.
After dropping minniek off for her (turns out) epic walk doing the CCT, AngelG27 and I met up for a good mornings caching. After AngelG27 headed home, I continued in caching mode. Next one on the list. Parked nearby and wandered up to GZ. Quick find. The nearby muggles paid absolutely no attention to me - cool.
Thanks Dragon 1982 !!

Returning from this morning's orienteering in Tidbinbilla, I took the opportunity to grab a few other caches on the way home. Surprisingly this took a while to find. Got there in the end though. TFTC.

Nobody watching sports this afternoon after some circling spotted the cache. TFTC Dragon 1982.
A beautiful day to do a few urban caches around south Canberra. TFTC.
No sport happening here today. Quick find. Cache and log are good. (A bison tube is a micro .) TFTC Dragon 1982.
Went for a bike ride/run with The Woofer today and thought we'd grab this one since it was missing last time we were in the area. A nice easy find, but had to watch the muggles! TFTC
Another day and as is the theme of this week it saw me needed more caches for a challenge I am working on. Winter was always going to be the hardest and today I needed four caches.
Circled for a bit and then some walkers with there dog went past. Once they had moved on I went back and can't believe it was just there, not sure how I missed it! Thanks for the cache Dragon 1982.

Found on a lovely day out caching in the West. A quick find at GZ but it took a bit longer to retrieve the log - the size probably needs to adjusted to micro though! Great memories of this oval from when I was a kid when I participated in a kids training program here with my AFL team, the Western Bulldogs! TFTC Dragon_1982!
We thought we'd grab a few caches on our run/bike ride today, but had no luck at this one! We dug around for quite some time, but based on previous logs it looks like it might be gone.
Found @ 6:42am with Hodge the geohound and his mate Hunter
I actually found this one at about the same time on Friday as we walked past this spot most mornings however I didn’t have a pen on me. Made sure I had one before heading out this morning.
Thanks Dragon 1982

Cache 4929 on 29 Mar 2019.
After a mix up at work with leave and travel, I ended up with this afternoon off work, which suited me just fine. I wanted to grab a few more caches and had my eye on at least one with a few favourite points. After scanning options, Bobl27 and I drove to Kambah and made four easy finds with a total of 34 favourite points! All finds were quick and rain free.
This cache: last cache for the day and another quick find. Not a great fan of caches hidden like this as they can be confused with rubbish. But a nice clean container and a new logbook!
Thanks Dragon 1982 for the cache and the fun!
