Logs
Had 2 attempts at this one. Spent a good 15min looking up but couldn't even spot the cache! Was looking forward to a climb too.
Well that was a bit of an adrenaline rush! Once I realised from the previous logs that this was going to be a bit of a climb, I quickly ruled out the trees that the coordinates were pointing me to. Expanding the search as the rain rolled in, Id almost given up when I finally caught the right angle as the sun went behind a cloud. Thought about it for a while but given you cant log a find without physically signing the log and Im heading back to the East Coast tonight, I knew Id regret not giving it a crack. Managed to navigate the climb and avoid dropping the lid of the cache while completing the signing duties, because I did not relish doing it twice. The descent was a little trickier but completed without injury. Some of the branches that you need to use are getting a little brittle here but that just adds to the adventure. Thanks for a challenging and fun cache!
I found it with S & dog but had no monkeys to get the cache. TFTC very unusual. If u need proof we have a photo
Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family but alas they have Covid so we are staying away! What else to do but go caching.
We made an early start with a list of 28caches to attempt for our day. The tally ended up with 6 DNF, 4 DNA due to muggles and 18finds. Not one of our best days. We like finding tricky caches and caches where you need to be stealthy but we do like FINDING caches days like today are definitely not a highlight of our addiction.
Shame so many of the caches we tackled today have been unloved by finders and the CO's with no visits for over 1 year some nearly 2 years. Each DNF today was a thorough search of at least 15minutes if not longer. Home just on sunset, Lets hope for better luck next time we head out.
Looked for this on our way up the hill with no luck, looked again on the way back down the hill almost about to give up when Mr Felix finally spied it. Trip to the geocruiser for a TOTT and log was able to be signed.

This one took an age to find especially when looking up the wrong trees. I C Nothing finally spotted it just as the rain started.
Decided on a days caching last week with I C Nothing and Meme28 before we knew the weather. Thought we would go ahead despite the rain and weather warning. Some logs signed as MIK.

Today we headed out for another caching adventure for some practice before WAGB. Hopefully Kapelula , Meme28 and I can can have a good run and not get to wet as we have puzzles and other caches we are looking forward to collecting today. We found your cache today in good condition thanks for the adventure. Logged as MIK. Took awhile to locate but found it in the end. Luckily we brought the right TOTT to make retrieval easy.
Out with ICNothing and Kapelula picking up some caches In the area. ICNothing had the keen eye for this one and I as the designated monkey signed the log! Thank you!
Managed to persuade my geoson to come with and do the 'monkey business', as Id come last week with a TOTT which didnt make the grade. Nice quick grab for him but throwing it back up to him after me signing it was so funny! TFTC
Accompanied with Iluvtrekking for the day.. The weather is so lovely warm day. [:X][:X]
we enjoyed search, found and signed the log.
Thanks parkacruz for the cache and hunt. [^]

Back in Ellenbrook again today, trying to make a dent in all the unfound Geocaches.
There are many excellent hides here, some we found quickly, some took a little longer and some were not found at all.
Many thanks for your efforts parkacruz, the ladder is getting quite a workout today.

I was better prepared with a ladder this visit. Still I wasn’t a happy climber. Thanks for the hide.
Cache is present and I got close to it but I know a ladder would be safer and I didn’t bring one.
We looked for about half an hour with no luck and the rain came in! Hoping the wild weather recently hasn’t messed with it, will go back and look again after someone else finds it. We did find a blue marble though so thought we were on the right track
Found it. TFTC Parkacruz. Meet up with neva2old to tackle some of these Ellenbrook cache’s. Usually when I see tree climbers I back off. In this case neva2old had a TOTT in the geo kit. It made it easier and safer.
Headed out with redlipsandunicorns and met up with Barnzy12 to try and clear up some more of the green dots in the Ellenbrook area. We didn't do to bad finding the caches and it was lucky that B12 and brought along a certain TOTT that was needed on a few caches. Im sure we will be back up here in the near future to find the rest of the caches still remaining. TFTC parkacruz
Headed out for a day of caching with the geo baby, mommy Ooh Yeh and Barnzey12. Hoping to finally close in on our 2000th find. Glad there was a group of us here, as three sets of eyes are always better than one! All caches signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks for a great day out ooh yeh and barnzey12! And TFTC parkacruz
This is find #1994 for us!

Headed out for a days caching with mrs ooh yeh and redlipsandunicorns to Ellenbrook to try and fix a few dnfs we had on our last foray into the area. Managed to snag about 20odd caches around there and I grabbed a few nearby ones before we met up for the day.
Thanks to Parkacruz and Neva2old for the days fun.

Find 8 of 17 with 2 DNFs on a lovely ride around Ellenbrook, mostly sponsored by parkacruz.
Spent quite a long time craning our necks and trying to get some light on the subject here. Probably concentrated our time on two trees that the cache wasn't in, occasionally looking at a third that it was in. Eventually got some height into the 3rd's canopy to see if that would help when Mrs. O. saw the cache from below - so obvious when you look at the right height! At least Mr. O. was heading in the right direction but there was still a way to go before the cache could be snaffled and signed. No tools required.

A joint {*FTF*} here today with PP2, Piknik15 & LittleMissChattaBox, we enjoyed a morning in the bushlandand and collecting these very clever caches TFTC Parkacruz
Nanny & Poppy got my own online account so I can now log this, a {*FTF*} with PP2, smileyjims & piknik15 TFTC
In the rain today I went in my gum boots with Smileyjims, LittleMissChattaBox and PommieParkin2, we did lots of bush walking and climbed some trees. It was raining lots and sometimes we had to hide under the trees. We found this cool cache and shared a joint {*FTF*} Thanks parkacruz for this geocache, it was a favourite.
Continuing on back to the car, we just had to stop here to see what this one entailed…. Jase quickly spotted the hide & master 7 wanted to do the dirty work He didn’t even get to the first point before he fell to the ground!
Jase then opted to do the hard yards whilst the kids battled below with their jousting sticks made from the local flora Once the logbook was signed, the kids were read their last rights before we headed off towards home….

Arrived home to find that we were missing one GPS & only one spot that could be… Thankfully another local cacher found it, hope she found the cache too [^]

Joint {*FTF*} with smileyjim piknik15 & Little Miss Chatterbox . Popped in & said a quick hello to the COs then left them at home and set out with the youngsters. Where are they taking me??? We could see it but there was some debate on who was going for the retrieve, 3 of us tried before we claimed the prize. This one is worth a favourite. TFTC parkacruz
