This one not so easy to find?Just found a rather large kangaroo to go with tracks...I will be back
Almost allowed the number of hiding places here to defeat me, but with a few references in previous logs to widening the search area, perseverance soon paid off. My GPS was showing about 7 m north of the posted coordinates. Cache is in great condition, love the accompanying container and also love this wonderful piece of sandy bushland. No wildlife for me today but plenty of evidence of kangaroos having been through earlier in the day.
Nice one but dont think we will continue through this bush today. Something about the large but very dead turtle may have had something to do with it as a bad omen...
Sooo many grasstress. We gave it a red hot crack but after 8 grasstrees and yet more in the area we had to admit defeat.
Our backs are sore from all that bending.

Back in Ellenbrook again today, trying to make a dent in all the unfound Geocaches.
There are many excellent hides here, some we found quickly, some took a little longer and some were not found at all.
Many thanks for your efforts parkacruz.

Hooray, after numerous grass tree back breaking searches I eventually found the container I’d expected to find, thanks.
Find 4 of 17 with 2 DNFs on a lovely ride around Ellenbrook, mostly sponsored by parkacruz.
Laid hands on this one very quickly.

Plans were made a few days ago with Barnzy12 and WebblyWA to come back up to Ellenbrook to try and clear up the massive amount of green dots that appeared after the CO,S event. We were hoping to grab all of them but the weather was terrible and we got soaked after finding the first one lol....The rain kept the muggles away but it didn't help us find some of the caches so I think we ended up with 70 finds and about 10 DNFS. Clearly a lot of hard work went into placing all the caches and I would love to say they were easy finds but that definitely wasn't the case with some of them and im very glad we bought a certain TOTT with us...Mr OOH YEH managed to work out Annies Landing a few days prior and I must admit that was a very creative cache well worth a fav point. Even though we got drenched we still had a fun morning of caching and we will be back in the near future to find the rest of them. TFTC parkacruz
A couple of days ago plans were hatched with ooh yeh and webblywa to spend the day caching around Ellenbrook to pickup all of the new Parkacruz caches that were published at their recent explosion of play event.
We knew we were in for a tough days caching after our FTF hunting efforts were thwarted with a large number of dnfs. It was much easier to find these caches during the daylight hours and after consulting a number of the attributes, precious finders and even the CO we armed ourself with enough info.
In preparation for the day mister ooh yeh had solved the Annie’s landing puzzle and the find there was one of the highlights of the day. The best cache of the day was the Phillips Library which is one of the best made containers I have found in all of my years of caching.
The weather was great for some of the urban hides as the rain managed to keep muggles away and allowed us to cache in peace. Although by the end of the day we were absolutely drowned out.
We ended up with nearly 70 finds for the day, and nearly 10 dnfs which is quite good considering how well placed a number of the containers are. Thanks Parkacruz for a great day out.

Have the day off today so thought I'd focus on Ellenbrook and all the new caches Parkacruz have just published.
DNFs starting to mount. Searched several grass trees at GZ but no joy

In the rain today I went in my gum boots with Smileyjims, LittleMissChattaBox and PommieParkin2, we did lots of bush walking and climbed some trees. It was raining lots and sometimes we had to hide under the trees. We found this cool cache and shared a joint {*FTF*} Thanks parkacruz for this geocache, it was a favourite.
Joint {*FTF*} with smileyjim piknik15 & Little Miss Chatterbox . Popped in & said a quick hello to the COs then left them at home and set out with the youngsters. Where are they taking me??? It’s a long walk in the rain, but we had fun. This one is worth a favourite. TFTC parkacruz Just for piknik’s excitement
