I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Thor8008, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia
##Cache Maintenance Required please.##
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs.
The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.
See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance).
If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on.
When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.
I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided.
If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Yep, just the ghostly remnants of a cache. This was my first find in Tasmania! Cheers from Canada.
Just catching up on caching from a recent trip and noticed that many people have logged this since our visit, as a find and yet stated that there is only a lid. There is no container and no log book. As this isn't can't be logged, I am putting a maintenance log on it.
As the last 8 logs (including 6 finds) have indicated, there is nothing but a lid remaining. Needs to be replaced or archived. Have put a NM on to stop cachers coming to look when there’s nothing here.
Only the lid remains, I left a slip of paper but didn't have any plastic bags to put it in.

Hi we found the location and the paper but was ripped up sadly the spot and concrete jas been smashed the lid is still there but contains bottom isn't there sadly
A group of 11 of us from New Zealand have come over to cache in Tasmania, stayed at Hadley Orient Hotel in Hobart for the last 3 nights. Stayed our first night last night here Launceston. This is our 5th day here. G-2 (driver) and Pagenz and me in our rental. No idea where the others are.
Came to this park to pick up one of the WP's for an ad lab, while here we came to this one too. Boy, it's stinking hot, glad to get back to the car and out of the sun.

As previous logs have said the cache is there but needs urgent maintenance. I have a photo if the CO needs proof. t4tc
Container lid is still there unfortunately the logbook has been replaced with a piece of paper with inappropriate writing.
Back home we decided to tackle a few caches that have been published since our last time in Launceston and surrounds.
As per whitewebbs log, we signed the zip locked bag.
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about caching in the area with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found.. Needs some TLC, see photo as only lid and ziplock remain. Signed ziplock as had no spares with us. TFTC
Thanks for the cache Thor8008.
Visiting the north of the state with RLD4963 and the two GeoGSP's. We've been to some part of this park before, so this was a new section we visited. A nice walk with the doggoes to GZ and a quick find of the cache.

out and about caching in the Launceston area to get out of the maze, a sunny day as opposed to Hobart. TFTC TNLN log dry.
The final day of my Tasmanian Odyssey and it’s all about the LGAs… again… After all it is a day of the week ending in “y”…
This was a very late addition to the days activities… thank goodness TinkerTom1 was again with me as otherwise I’d have been off in the long grass somewhere…
As mentioned by others, this cache needs maintenance, urgently… as there is nothing but the lid left, we added a temporary log in snap lock bag…

Nice easy one, looks like container has been pinched, just the log in a sandwich bag and the container lid remain.
On our way from another cache in the park, nice walk along the trails. Definitely needs maintenance, found with Peppa and left new temporary log in ziplock bag. All that remains of the original cache is the lid from the container but the location is still nice. TFTC
Found pretty easily, only the lid seems to be left now. Who updated these geocaches. I can if no one will
Found GZ ok but as previous finders have said there's not much of the cache left.
All I found was the lid and some ripped up pieces of paper.
Thankfully enough to sign our name on.
I did enjoy the walk around the area.

Easy find even at night thanks to accurate coords and hint.
However the cache seems to have lost its container and only the lid and logbook are there - see photo.

Found on a nice walk around the park in the afternoon. The log was damp and part of the box was missing however I managed to sign it okay. Thanks
On a trip down from Melbourne and this is my firat geocache in over 10 years! Shame the container was missing
Last morning in Launceston before flying home to Qld. Decided to go for a jog on the northern side of town. A 11km route took me past 12 caches with 10 finds, 1 DNF and one with two many muggles. Thanks to all the COs for the excuse to get me out of bed instead of sleeping in. The container is gone but log is ok
Quick find after waiting for muggles to pass logbook isn’t singable too wet needs replacing and a bag
Found it. Easy find. VERY wet note pad. Might need sealing in a watertight bag within container.
Thanks for hide.
Thanks for hide.
A quick find, couldn't get my pen to write on the log as it was drenched. Cool spot however
A spare of the moment trip to Launceston for an overnight getaway with my Daughters for a good shop also allowed for time for Mum to grab some geocaches.
This cache was an easy find. Very warm inside this special spot. The logbook was wet needs a zip bag to put it in.
Thanks, Thor8008 for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Thanks for the cache! Found it with relative ease on my lunchtime walk - unfortunately the cache and logbook were soggy, was unable to add my name to the log.
Got spot but a angry ant nest found it too! log book was quite wet but I was able to write on it still! TFTC!!!
Couldnt sign, log is saturated. And ants have a huge nest in there.
TBs are also missing
Great spot for a walk though

Trip required to Launceston to pick up machinery parts, so being a good weather report, today was the day to combine with a caching expedition as well. 9/10 wasn't too bad for us. Our expedition has got us from Devonport to Churchill Park now ..... a part of Launceston new to us. Retrieved this one quick enough, but spent quite some time trying to rectify the mess inside. Very wet, note book completely soggy. Dried out as best we could but left the wet notebook in, plus a small piece of waterproof paper rolled up in the end of a little stamp device. Might be good for a short while. TFTC Thor808
Cool hide. As previously mentioned, log book is saturated, I did try & write in it but can only be seen faintly. TFTC .
