We parked yhe campervan just down the hill and walked up to GZ.This is a beautiful spot, I've never been to before so it's great to explore a little of it. Thanks for putting this here
Rattll and I are on a three week road trip of the South Island. Today we're focusing on the Grey Valley and surrounding area, starting in Greymouth. Our main target today is to complete the flowers series, along with hoovering up Confused Ducks and whatever else we come across. We stopped at Nelson Creek to have lunch, and strategise around the Hold 'em series. We also took the time to find some extra caches around the area. This was one of them. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Today is day two of our 4 day holiday in Greymouth. Our first find in this area. I have never explored this area before and I am pleased I have now. Luckily the rain ?????? showers held off during this walk.
Found on our loop walk of the area, though didn't realise that this could have been a drive by (the GPSr map was a little lacking in information).
The cache was a quick find - it was uncovered, so popped a stone on top. TFTC.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are currently parked up at the Nelson Creek Recreation Reserve Campsite … we decided to go for a walk after we arrived to see if we could find some local caches … this cache easily found, completed & replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #4,016 for us.
This track or road isn’t on my map otherwise I may have been tempted to drive. Enjoyed the loop walk and made a quick find here.

Parked here and did the loop walk. Came across two people with a metal detector trying their luck.
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288
Much cooler now.
Cheers, Cympull.

Another classic Gracie7 and Mum cache.. as per hint....

There was no track marked on my phone so it was a lucky dip as to where we would end up. Good fun. All good here thanks Gracie7 +mum
Bit of a search for this one, GPS saying one way but our Geocaching brain said here - brain won out - TFTC
Found lying out in the open - think it was knocked out of place by recent weed whacking. TFTC.
We came in here to check on this one and couldnt find anything either. It WAS a snakehead (hence the name) but we dont have anything to replace that so have just left a pill container in its place. All good to go here again. Happy Caching
Bracket fungi, fun walk, foned a frend, failed. Thanks anyway. Now replaced and given as a 'virtual' find, yippeee! Thanks to awesome gracie7 + Mum.
Tyfc nice easy find with Kerry owl grabbing a few sovenier, ty for bringing us to this area ,looking forward to walking this track will be back .

We brought Miss Allysa out for a drive today with a promise of a play at Nelson Creek once we stopped at a handful of caches first. Were not too sure what the last cacher was referring to (maybe they got their caches mixed up) but found the cache were it should be. The floral paper can just be wiped dry but as we were here we replaced it with a waterproof strip. So its just like brand new again. Happy Caching
I parked my snail shell in the Nelson Creek Reserve yesterday . So today before the forecasted showers came I decided to do the 3 caches across the bridge and the one by the river in the Reserve.
This one had me going for a while until I checked the GPS again.
Cheers for the cache.

Took a bit of a hunt but finally got there. Out for a day exploring. Nice to actually get to these areas finally. TFTC
Today we headed off to Nelson Creek to do some maintenance/checks on 6caches along the card trail (3missing, 2wet and 1fine) and then after the one at the domain we came in to check on this one aswell. It wasnt where we had originally put it but was very quickly located in a logical position. Good thing it had a floral waterproof log in it as it looks like it has been run over and the inner container was cracked. We didnt have a container of this size to replace it so Mum just taped it up and this should be sufficient. It is now back where it goes and waiting for the next finder. Happy Caching
We decided to come for a wee walk to see if we could find the caches that had been placed since we were last in the area. We took a wrong turn and ended up walking a look through where the gold prospectors go, not much of a track to follow, but we eventually popped out on a track. Then we looked at the phone again and saw where we went wrong. A quick walk along the nice easy track and we soon spotted the cache and again it was out in the open, We signed the log and then popped a rock on top to stop the animals from disturbing it again.
We were surprised that we were only the second visitors to this cache
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

FTF with Hazedarus.
It's never a burden to visit this area, especially when there is a cache to find. We did debate whether to go the extra distance to find this while looking for the other new ones or leave it until we were closer to the area but in the end it was a foregone conclusion.
Thank you gracie7 + Mum.

FTF With Holymu. Oops. Almost a week went by and logging the find almost slipped under the radar. This was the furthest point of the loop that netted five FTF after a flurry of new cache notifications. Hidden in plain sight we didn't spot the cache immediately but it didn't take long. Thank you gracie7 + Mum
