A quick easy find of a nicely hidden little cache which gets a favourite from us. TFTC
Junior cacher found this quickly after an explanation of what the hint meant. I didn't have my tweezers with me but easily improvised with nearby natural materials. Log was wet but I was able to dry out with a paper towel before adding my name in. Great hide on a lovely walk, TFTC!
I think the wire was recently fixed up and re tightened. Couldn't find it:(
Its really hard and I need someone to send me a picture of where it is and I dont know what a strain is
Oh thats bloody clever. Well done. Have a FP. I picked an interesting week to go for this one. Just as I was finishing up with the cache, a car pulled up and asked if they could park there. Im cycle caching today so Im in a hi vis and looking rather official. I just sorta mumbled sure thing and headed back to my bike safely tucked in the bushes.
First for this Labour Day cache trip. So cleverly hidden! Could extract the log. Tftc
Gosh, this was my second attempt at a cache ever so maybe I need a bit more experience but I looked for a while and honestly couldn’t figure it out!
This is my sixth find of our adventure and poor Beeba got none as she has already done all of these ones. A good cache which was not quite where I expected. I soon had it in hand.
Checked this afternoon. Tidied up a bit but cache still there straining away. All good.
Dont forget your tweezers and pen!

Looked everywhere with no luck. Suspect there might have been some tampering. Will return if someone else logs a find soon.
From the hint I had an idea of what I might be looking for- I have seen other caches ON said item but I had no idea this would be IN it!!!
Very clever!
Here- take all my favourite points, lol
I appreciate your effort of creating and maintaining your caches.
Thanks

In Christchurch for a couple of days before heading to Hamilton on a wee road trip.
Today's adventure took me along the Cycle Track before going around Ngà Puna Wai Sports Hub and the Canterbury Agricultural Park.
On approach to GZ I could see something and was pretty sure I knew what to look for. Sure enough my hunch was indeed correct and soon had log in hand TFTC

It looked like it wasn’t even there. It was actually very hard to find but we did it! Loved it!
Didn’t find the cache before the kids’ patience ran out. May try again if back that way.
As a newbie I almost gave up... But at the last moment I figured it out, very happy to log this one
Arrived at the cache location and spied something that looked out of place and totally ineffective. Closer inspection revealed the well-hidden cache; TFTC
TFTC Team_Gaters, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 8 find(s) of 10 today, making this find #3190Assisting knotobsessed with getting the final Reach the Peak month, aka going for a wak to get some fresh air.
I was a little behind but suggested where I thought it might be... I was along the right lines, she had it in hand fairly quick. Nicely hidden!

This 1 I can also see why people have gifted it so many favourites! I love the creative camo here TFTC!
Didn't have my handy toolkit with me but managed to extract the log. Great!! I now have the U for the January Challenge. Thanks.
..Managed to pry out old wet log & replaced with a fresh waterproof paper log. All good to go again.
Great hide. Scoped out during a previous lock down but unable to touch. Back today but log is wedged in and can’t be pursuaded to come out even with tools
StreetWalkerNZ and I both needed finds today to bring our total number of finds for 27th March to a nice green 26 on our stats page. Hillmorton had a goodly number of unfound caches so that's where we headed after an afternoon coffee.
After finding Ducks Vs Eels we decided to walk on to this cache as it was such a pleasant afternoon. Once at GZ, the cache was quickly found - nice hide - but the log boos is a bit damp and I had nothing to put it on while signing (usually have a notebook with me) so had to use the top of the fence post as a flattish surface. It's not flat of course, so it may be a bit hard to make out our names. TFTC.

#19765. I had pre-found this one, so it was a quick find once we'd made the trek over to GZ. TFTC.
One of those looking at the cache, looking at the clue, looking at the cache, looking at the clue sort of affairs. About to give up, final check.... Hang on what's this? Well, would you look at that! Well done. Deserved favorite. Cheers
Found with val and purdie269 and geomurph. Easy find once if u know ya farming terms.
A very nicely done cache. Didn't take very long to sort out. Certainly worth a favourite point.
A bit damp underfoot in these parts and it took some very creative jumping and leaping for the kids to not get wet feet in our round about approach to GZ. IT didn't take much to find the hide (nice work) and sign the log then the kids hopped the fence and proceeded to do a mini cross country over the horse jumps. Back to the car, get dinner then watch the Crusaders eventually beat the Blues!
Found it! Very clever and our fave so far. Clue is in title. Used gloves to sign log
Another one I found while caching / walking in this area...was down from Auckland for only 2 days to attend a wedding!
Very well done here...never seen one like it!
Def needs a Favourite Point ☆
Genius!

Seriously clever! Took me a while and was searching all through the bush haha but such a satisfying find when I finally clicked! My favourite so far TFTC+fav
Clever little hide. We pondered for a wee while, certain we knew the location of the cache. Reading over some logs confirmed what we already suspected and soon cache was in hand and the log signed. TFTC
Well the title really does say it all, looked around a bit then thought something was a little off and bingo there was the cache
Thought we would never find it. But the answer was in the clue.great hiding place. Tftc
spare room and needed to take some stuff to the recycling at the dump. This was on the way.
Thanks Team_Gaters for placing this geocache 7638 find for me.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

It wasn't my intention to be caching today, but an unfortunate set of circumstances led to my wife (NZDi) and I getting flown down to Christchurch in an air ambulance to fix up a botched spinal operation done at home. Today NZDi is back on the operating table and to take my mind off things I went out and found a few caches. I am staying at a motel on Lincoln Road and when I looked at the geocaching map the caches along this trail stood out as being a good target to get.
After getting a bug under a bridge, I was about to head along the road, but when I checked the geocaching map I saw this. As it was less than 300m away, I figured it was worth the extra effort to grab this one. As I approached GZ I saw something that did not look quite right and on further investigation, discovered a type of cache which I had seen a couple of time before. The log was quickly signed and I was back to my original plan.

Enjoyed getting out on a lovely afternoon to find a cache. This is a beautiful walk and the birdsong was just beautiful. The cache is very clever and will give a fav from us. Love how you have done this and very happy I had TOTT with me. Thanks for brining us to this lovely walk and the cache Team_Gaters.
Another sunny day meant another quick lunchime cache for me. Was a great afternoon to have this peaceful walk to the GZ, but of course, just as I got to the GZ two senior citizens appeared nearby while walking their dogs....So, after waiting them out, I ducked in and made the find. Thanks for the cache.
Wandered over here after finding the nearby creepy crawlie. Popular track for dog walkers. Nice quick find here too. Did contemplate going further but decided against it. TFTC # 14,453
Didn't have to look around for very long for us notice the clever hide..TFTH
