#10492 - 9:53:00 AM; Out on a mission with Sol de lune this morning to undertake a caching circumnavigation of Lake George. Our goal for the day was to collect the various caches, including some Adventure Labs, along or near our route with stops in Bungendore and Collector as we made our way around. Picked up this cache after completing the Bungendore leg and we were now headed north on our way to Collector along the Tarago Road. TFTC ALL7
Catching up on a few in this series missed last time. Nice quick find here.
Thanks for another one...

Straightforward find on a caching day in Bungendore. Thanks for the cache ALL7!
On route from Hyams Beach to Queanbeyan. Stopped along the way to grab some GCs to break up the journey. Was a quick and easy grab, TFTC.
Not sure how I have not bagged this one before - god knows I've been up and down this road a dozen times this year!! Anyway, thanks for this - I needed a bit of a boost!
I am just starting on this series at the Bungendore end. I know I will enjoy as I have all your other series ALL7.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I assisted ALL7 on a maintenance run with codawives, finding the cache, checking the condition, replacing logs and/or cache where required. All good to go. Thanks for the find
Found on a warm Autumn day for another drive around the area.
Todays mission was to do more of the Tarago and Collector series and others nearby.
Not much traffic today and some more interesting parking options.
Cache condition is OK/good.
Thanks for the cache ALL7,

We travelled from Goulburn to Bungendore today with our caravan and now we are based at the showground at Bungendore. We enjoyed the caching and lovely rural scenery. Yours was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to ALL7 for arranging this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
# 5904 CBRChic and I decided to head out to Braidwood and beyond to gather a few stray caches and provide some much needed custom to the local businesses. It got progressively damper the further east we traveled which was great to see. Lots of swollen streams and farm dams. In the end we made it as far as Nelligen before we turned home. A very pleasant day's caching.
Thanks ALL7
Thanks ALL7
And we made it before dark. A favourite well deserved for maintaining this trail ALL7. Having met up with Three Kings at Maccas, we are having fun on a busy afternoon caching aiming for Bungendore before dark. Thanks for all your hard work putting this trail together ALL7.
Great afternoon with the WEEO. Good company, coffee and caches and we had a ball. Thanks heaps ALL7 for setting them up for us.
This morning I completed about 50 of these caches working backwards from Bungendore.
So smoky but cooler at least. Not too much traffic either which helped when stopping so many times.
I started here at #100 and worked back to #49. 1 DNF. Stopped by one local farmer who wanted to know why we were here. He was fine once I explained we were not fire bugs or anything suspicious.
Lots of new logs, mostly small containers and some smaller caches in the signs.
Thanks ALL7 for the fun.

On our way home today, with caravan on, couldn't stop at all the caches, no parking. Quick finds, stamped the log and replaced, did some maintenance of replacing logs, along the way. Thanks to CO, Merry Christmas bring on the
Tftc,
Today's 41 finds will place me a little over 750 away from making 10,000 finds at 10 years of Geocaching on the 28th May 2020.
A decision was made to have a go at this and after all that has been achieved this year, there is still 5 months to get there and a few Power trails will help.
Heading home this morning to ensure we don't get stuck due to fire road closures. The placement of some caches were not good when towing a van so we will have to make a return visit to get what we missed. Gave up at Noon, had lunch and went home.
Visited trackables.

Ahh, #100. We meet at last!! The last of the Tarago Series. Of the 241 caches attempted, 225 were "Finds" and 16 were DNFs. All caches in good condition but generic log due to the sheer amount of how they blend into each other after a while. TFTC!
This weekend represents The Stumble's annual Canberra trip. We travelled from Goulburn through to Queanbeyan via Tarago (food and service is really good at the pub) and Bungendore.
Out of 241 caches attempted, 225 were "Finds" and 16 were "DNFs". All caches, unless otherwise stated were in good condition. Cache locations varied but those prickly trees were the WORST!! We did encounter a few unique hides which we have awarded FPs for.
We left a lot of swag along the way for the kidlets and deposited a couple of TBs that needed moving on.
To all the CO, TFTC and the (at times) challenges in finding them. Apologies for the generic logs but 241 caches blend in to each other after a while!!

Took the back road back from Goulburn picking up a few of this series, crazy wind and sometimes driving rain meant we missed a few. TFTC.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Thank you for putting this series. Gave us an excuse to stay a couple of days in Bungendor
Found with Legocacher after a nice brunch at nearby Bungendore. A cold and windy day so good for some drive by caching. TFTC
Found with Chakram after a nice brunch at Bungendore. The day looked pleasant but it was extremely windy.
A beautiful day to go out and cache. We heading out to Canberra to pick up some unfold and turn them into smileys. TFTC

After today's orienteering near Lake George, I continued to find some of the newish caches out this way. A quick find here. TFTC.

Start this series but got way laid with a few other cache so we will have to return to complete the series, but thank you we had a fun day.
Found the container in place here - lots of fun grabbing these caches today and replacing what we could for the CO. Thanks again for the trail ALL7
Today was the day to finish the Tarago series. Kittykatch and I were in Goulburn and decided to come back this way to finish this series off. Thanks ALL7 for all the hard work you have put into the series. It was a lovely day unlike last weekend which was freezing so after getting a few done in Goulburn we set off to Tarago. Really happy to get home after a long day. TFTC
Trying to complete the Tarago series today. Most containers were found in good condition apart from a couple which appeared to have gone walkabout and two more which had suffered from recent extensive roadworks. TFTC ALL7 and for placing and maintaining this extensive series.
Out again today with my youngest daughter getting some fresh air while geocaching. We were on our way back from the Sandhills FM cache and grabbed this one. Thanks ALL7.
Quick park and sign. Cache and log are good. Oh dear, someone dropped their new pen from the Gong Mega. I picked it up, rather than leave it there. TFTC ALL7.
An early start form the mega HQ to head to the capital and find 'a few' on the way! Thank you for a great series that kept me busy for a large part of the day! There were a few I did not find and a couple I did not attempt as previous logs suggested they were missing. Overall a great experience, making the drive so much longer but so much more fun!!! TFTC!!
The start of a long road trip, an unexpected detour and a few extra stops were allowed.
Cheers

#7195. I came over to Canberra for a few days to pick up a number of interesting caches, especially the challenge series. Now heading to the Mega event in Wollongong. I am staying overnight at Goulburn so heading up this road late in the day. Figured I had time to pick up five more caches today to round it up to 50 finds for the day. Stopped to do a few of this series. Will need to come back over to Oz another time as there are so many power trails to explore. Nice quick find here. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here ALL7. Greetings from New Zealand.
a bit of a generic log for these. I was really impressed by the coordinates for the ones I managed to grab while the kids were still entertained by game machines. So while I could, I grabbed the ones with easy parking and were on the left on our way to Tarago, with the exception of this one, which I misread as number #1... oh well. thanks for placing these
Whooo hooo, my 400th find, what a milestone. Made a quick dash to the end on the series to achieve this on the #100 Tarago Series. Thank you ALL7 for this series. Such a lovely countryside even tho it’s so dry. Would love to see it all green one day
Tftc. Have done quite a few of these and couldn’t figure out why this was green in a sea of yellow. After a quick find, that was soon changed.
we headed away for the weekend to grab some numbers, We free camped the night before near Goulburn and had an early start. We had a great weekend with lots of fun and adventures, Not quite reaching our goal but happy with the result. Most caches found without problem. Thanks for the cache All7 tnln replaced as found sl
Wow! It's been quite a while since i found the other 99 caches of this trail, and for some reason i couldn't find this one then.
Today, a long drive and i was prepared to sleep in my car to get back here and find some more caching trails.
Thanks for the cache.

18,223. Found during a meander south for some caches today.
Needing a few caches today for my 20/20 Challenge I headed down a familiar road for some drive-by fun. This was a lonely green icon among many yellow smilies so I took care of that nice and quickly once at GZ. Nice to knock off the 'additional' cache in this series.
Thanks ALL7 !!

Day six in Queanbeyan - Anzac Day, so we headed out of town to avoid all the closed streets.
BettyBoo3747 and I started with a pile of lollies, then morning tea at Bungendore, then continued with the last 50 of the Tarago Series.
A very productive and lovely day.
Leaving Bungendore just before lunch was not the best decision! All the Anzac crowds were dispersing at the same time, it made the road a bit busy.
Apart from that we had a great drive up the last section of this series.
Such great views of the windmills, starting to green hills, and lovely blue skies.
A good collection of caches too in good order.
We will return for the other half.
Thanks, Robmc.

#15534. Anzac Day 2019. We will remember them!
Day 6 of our 2 weeks holiday in the ACT and surrounds. We are staying at Carwoola.
We decided to head to the lovely countryside past here and out towards Captains Flat and Bungendore to avoid the road closures. The changing poplar trees and slightly greening paddocks with the surrounding mountains made for some beautiful scenery. It ended up being a big day with 103 finds.
Once more we are finding the size "Small" a bit difficult to deal with as most of the vials etc we would certainly call a "Micro" back in Victoria. Thankfully the hints helped a lot.
After a quick brunch in Bungendore we started the Tarago Series. Managed to do 50 before turning around and heading for home.
Thanks ALL7

Had done a run along the Tarago Road powertrail a few weeks back for the Cache Carnival challenge but this one was only published two days later. Heading home from the Clear Waters Mega, travelled the road again to complete any new or replaced icons. Easy find.
On the way home from the mega and came back through Bungendore to find a few I missed.
We had come to this mega with the intentions of just socializing and catching up with old friends that we haven't seen for awhile.
Somehow or other over a few drinks the idea of getting an early start and trying our luck on some of the local power trails seemed to override the urge to socialism so we joined forces with alansee, gonefishen07,zobo4,muzza,the Drovers & Andarka and headed off for what turned out to be an extremely enjoyable day out with fringes old and new and a reasonable caches were found to boot.
We realised the effort that goes into placing and maintaining a series like this, we don't mean to belittle the effort at all with cut and paste logs(we really appreciate it) but when you find so many so quickly to remember what was what for each one to write a log just doesn't seem to happen
To save room in the logs we signed as Tc7 (The Crazy Seven)
Thanks ALL7 for the cache.

I had lots of fun, met some nice people and found some great hides.

I have found this cache during the Clear Water Mega or in the weeks leading up to the Mega that was held I Queanbyean, New South Wales during the Easter Long Weekend of 2019. Due to the very large volume of caches and very long hours this is he first chance that I have had to Log all my finds,
This Mega Event will go down as one of the best mega events ever. I went on several Geocaching Tours, Swapped over 200 Pathtags, Bought Some Geocoins, Made some New Friends, Cached with Old Friends. During the Clear Water Mega I managed to get 8 FTF (as of 2359 on the 20/4/19. I am hoping to get more FTFs in the next few days. I’m sad to see the Mega ending but I’m excited for my next adventure in Hawaii for a few weeks after the mega ends. . Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache but with over 200 finds in the last few weeks it would be too hard to write a different one for each cache. A very big thank you to all the CO’s for your caches. I also donated 25 pathtags to the Girl Guides to thank them for their hard work. Had fun being the Clear Water Yowie for over 7 hours on the 19th April also.
My name will not appear in the All7 caches as I helped her put out hundreds of her caches. All other logs have been signed DSD or Darksidedan or Darkside depending on the size of the cache.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
***** I am currently writing very detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author". This Badge challenges geocachers to write logs with an average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the 20th of April 2019 my average is 99 words per log, which seems close to the 100 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average up. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After more than 5000 aches (which includes all cache finds up and including today I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task very soon. Progress has been better than anticipated.

Teamed up with The Rats to primarily find some of the power trails in ans around the ACT whilst also attending the Mega Event in Queanbeyan. In a couple of days we managed a few hundred finds. The landscape wasn't too bad and we enjoyed the various series placed out. TFTC!
Headed down to Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega event over Easter with steeba. We set ourselves a goal of bolstering our find count by doing some of the numerous powertrails that dot the surrounding area.
We did this trail by night which made our traffic movements rather easy. Most of the hides were straight forward, even in the dark. Thanks to the CO's for placing the caches we found.
