Quick and easy find. As others have mentioned it needs replacing - half the cache and logbook are missing.

This was a reasonably easy find. Although the cache wasn't attached to the lid of it, someone has decided to take it.

Found it but unfortunately only the lid remains

A lil thrill to get to it, but nothing too dangerous. Cool site in peak hour seeing all the cars go by below. The actual tube is gone, just the lid haha

Enjoying my two day visit to the Sunshine Coast with geo friends. We decided to venture out into the quieter suburbs but it sure was busy this morning crossing over the very busy road to get us on the way to GZ.
Lovely views up there and no muggles to worry about whist searching around. It was a quick find due to the beaut hint.

Patrol14 and I have journeyed to the Sunnie Coast for the Canadians at the Coast event in Mooloolaba this afternoon… deciding to make a full day of it we left the Southern burbs of Brisbane this morning at 7am…

Thinking we’d work our way through Mountain Creek we were joined by E_Smiley, Snickersallan and Grannysmith1947…

Like whenever we attempted to walk on the grass today, it didn’t take long to get bogged down in the caches…

This cache helps with a crazy challenge cache on the Northside of Brisbane… only found with the assistance of our great friends…

Tftc…

Back for another go, 2 years after the last DNF. I did note that it was not actually there that last time so I wasn't just cache blind that day. This is not a place we go past often and as it is not really a quick park and grab, more a park, bit of a walk then a grab and walk back, we hadn't made another attempt for so long. Today was the day after a little of light rain caching a nice lunch at Maroochy River and some maintenance on a few of ours (including some culling of poor performers...)
We parked at the Bridge club and walked over but once we hit the actual bridge, the wind was voracious. I had to abandon my hat for fear that it was going to end up on someone's car below. Thank goodness the cache was a quick find, nice & shiny in plain sight.
Was it really last found 10mths ago? And I just finished my unloved cache challenge, this would have been a good addition to the list.

As I was on driving duties today, I asked Sandra to direct us to a few caches on our way home from a spot of kayaking on the Maroochy River and this one she took us to. I parked up and after much waiting to cross many roads, I quickly spotted the cache, signed the log and made my way back to the car.

Thanks!!

Great to see the triple trouble back in the game!

Heading back from an FTF in Nambour to our holiday unit in Alex and thought I'd stop by. Early on a Saturday is a great time to grab this one, not much traffic about. It was easily spotted as I approached, nicely tethered Big Grin

Thanks *SuzySquirrel*, spinna76, Stacevel for giving us a reason to visit.

It was a hot dry day so I tried to take the shortest possible route from the parking WP to GZ which is not exactly the easiest terrain. It is good this bridge has a footpath but it does seem a bit unnerving that as a pedestrian you are not actually coming from or going to anywhere!
Good to see you guys active again and thanks for the cache.

Not many pedestrians would walk this bridge ?

Bit scary getting to this one tbh, since there aren't many proper footpaths or pedestrian crossings to use... Was relieved to get away from the motorway turn offs after finding it TFTC

After failing to find this cache a few months ago, we were back in the area and a quick check revealed that the CO had replaced the cache. As we departed Maroochydore we parked and made our way the where we looked and failed previously, and speed the cache immediately. Let's hope it's well enough tethered to not go missing again!
Thank you SSS for placing this cache and for replacing it for us to go and find.

Love the "needs archiving" from a cacher with zero finds.

Had a decent look, nothing that we can see here.
I did manage to walk straight into a spider web that was stretched across the path, and I nearly had a heart attack when I turned around and saw how big the spider was, that I must have been millimetres away from collecting! At least then we were prepared when we came across the next spider web barring our way. Lots of adrenaline, no smilie though. ️

So sure we were soooo close but maybe it’s blown away? Very windy!

Dropped J at his work Xmas party & wanted to find a cache on the way home to start the latest challenge 321.
Parked near the Bridge club & walked over the busy road at the lights & onto the bridge over the motorway. Felt protected from the traffic on my level by the short barrier but still scary looking down at the other traffic.
Had a good look all around gz, found the hint number, but could not locate anything resembling a cache. With the terrain rating, it did not seem like I would need to do anything dangerous, so returned to the car empty handed.
Will keep an eye on it for further hints....

After a great day caching around Buderim and surrounds we started making our way back to the top of the hill for lunch and maybe a glass of wine. As we were driving right by this cache I decided a quick view of the traffic below would be a fitting end. That was until we realised you can’t just park in the middle of the road. What the?

I had to pull off in a place where only crazy people park and then we had to run the gauntlet of the busy road. Since when don’t people obey the speed limit? I know the answer: since time became more expensive than mobile phone data.

It was easy to spy the cache but a bit nervous returning the log and cache. In fact as I was doing it back up the log sheet fell out and somehow stayed millimeters from ending up below. Don’t fart or the log is gone. A great spot for our last cache of the day. tftc

PS: TRAGEDY! We didn’t get wine with lunch because our daughter got called into work and we had to drive home so I had to go to the pub instead.

PPS: JOY! I got to go to the pub

Hatzofff and I are on the Sunny Coast for an Event at Alex. Heads, and decided to stay for two days. Today is the second of the two days.

Sussed out the area by Geo Falcon before deciding to park about the large green area and make careful crossings to GZ. The hint helped a quick find. All in good order here.

Log signed and replaced on July 7, 2019 at 1.31pm. TFTC, *SuzySquirrel*.

On the way home and smallwombat wants to detour for a cache. I'm like...really? 200m he says. Okay I respond. So we get near there, and all I see is road and cars. All tired, still nursing wounds from the day before, I said "you go". So off he scrambled over the road, scratched around, scrambled back to me to log, then scrambled back to return log then back to me to continue ride home before dark. Tftc

Last cache for the day, and not on our list of caches to get, but seeing as we just rode our bikes all the way up this hill, i guess we should go and have a gander, i said to sunshine58. Yeah you go have a gander she said. And away and back like a jack-in-the-box i was. Sensibly of course. No smallwombats were harmed in traffic.
Thanks 'everyone' for the cache!

Above the busy motorway,
I parked *at* GZ and soon found this cache in the most unexpected place [:o]

I *was* expecting it to be under the lamp post,
and requiring a stretch to get !!!
Sunny Coast cachers are getting soft in their dotage Wink
Which is a good thing for us older cachers trying to find logbooks to sign Big Grin

FTF. Not sure where the CO has been but welcome back. Parked up in a art centre just up the road and managed to dodge the rain storms on my way to GZ. Coords where spot on for me making for a quick find. Interesting facts about the Sunshine Motorway didn't know it was a toll road when it first opened. TFTC *SuzySquirrel* Smile
