Logs
We were struggling to find it and then our bike fell on our wee boy. Ouch! He's okay, but we gave up.
Nice Cache Location and also how it is prepared we first found the grey duck (ship) before we found silver duck in a second step.TFTC #443
Notified that the log was full. Old log removed and new log installed. All good to go.
Amazing spot, the silver nugget clue was perfect. We had a lot of fun with this one. Bring something small like a pin or tweezers to get the log out. The log is full and needs a new one
Plenty of muggles heading past here today, but took my time to find the right opportunity to extract this great cache, and soon logged in before replacing, very cool, TFTC
They were still having coffee and chatting so I went to find another cache the other direction. Nice variety hide. TFTC
Big little nuggetFound while out cycling in the rain. Hoping for better weather and more finds tomorrow. TFTC
Always good when your looking in the wrong place and your four year old comes up with the find.
On our long term trip from Germany to Western Australia / Tasmania / New Zealand for about 3,5 month, we drove trough NZ and picked up some cachesThis one was a quick found. TFTC
Didn't find it at first, but came back like Rocky Balboa in Rocky 4, and found it.
Having stopped to get a car seat for 2 day old future cache, I was able to wander along here to sit for a moment. Long enough to sign the log and have a few breaths of sea air. Thanks very much!
Last day in Nelson with Supernannny and Net61.
We sat down on the rocks and admired all the boats on a warm sunny day. A passerby asked what we were doing and do we explained about geocaching. Once they had continued on, SN made a quick find of the silver nugget. TFTC

With Our last day in Nelson we decided to come down to the port.

Could hardly miss this Nugget!
What a whoppa !
On a Geo Trip with Jag50 and Net61.
Luckily, Jan had her trusty safety pin!
Easier to carry around than tweezers..

Back to caching in the city -so different to caching in the countryside. We are starting to think about dinner, but decide to cache for a wee while longer.
I’m not sure how much this nugget is worth but I would like to make it into a bracelet.
In Nelson with TwigNZ, YetiNZ, Mr-Mcgoo for a few days of caching and meeting up with other cachers from Nelson. All logs signed as NMTY and apologies for the late log.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache andy.gail.

Day 3 of my Nelson trip, along with NZ_B, YetiNZ and Mr-Mcgoo. This is something we planned a while back and have very much been looking forward to
During our time here, all found caches were signed as NMTY (regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us hadn't found it previously), or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find.
Last night we had planned out our day to start near the top of Boulder Bank and work our way back towards Nelson. The only problem was the sudden publication of 4 new Caches, and what with New Zealand's foremost FTF addict amongst our number, we had a bit of a debate as to whether we would stick with Plan A or switch to a mad-dash Plan B. Plan A won out so here we are.
It's now getting late in the afternoon and thoughts of food are starting to creep into our caching, so we compromised by heading into Nelson CBD to grab a few caches before we go and check out some eateries. The port area seemed like a sensible place to get a few more caches under our belt.
A quick and easy find for those of us who hadn't been here before. No issues to report with the cache or log so everything was replaced exactly as found after signing. The spot price for silver is currently hovering around the NZD$36 mark, so I reckon the real thing here would be upwards of $2k. However, in reality it's worth is as another smiley on my map
Thanks for setting this one up.

Some time ago a group of us from Wellington decided that what we should do is come down to the Nelson region for a long weekend of Geocaching. So we did. With minimal specific agendas, and lots of unfound caches in the area, the goal for this four day break is exploring, having fun, and finding geocaches. Here is one we found.
This was day three, and another fifty plus day that had us focusing around Nelson town, starting at the northern end and working our way south.
The log was signed as NuMpTY (or NMTY) for NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ, & YetiNZ

Thanks to andy.gail for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

(# 7914) A caching trip to Nelson with NZ_B, TwigNZ and YetiNZ. Day 3 of a 4 day trip interspersed with exploring and humour. A quick find. Very striking.

Haha, love the match of the cache name & container! Quick find but lost my pen during my trip, so photo log instead. Tftc & favo!
Cache has been refurbished and put back in the correct place. Now all set to go again. Please ensure it is rehidden as found so casual passer-bys cannot see it.
Had to visit this cache twice. I found it the second time thanks to the spoiler pictures.
Found with Judith. I doubt we would have found of not for viewing the activity. Great hide
Found with nzchaser have found this before but still had trouble to find again tftc
Wow nice cache, haven’t been caching in a while time to get back into it. Thanks for the cache
The area was occupied on our way through so we decided to get this one on the way back. We had been reading the logs and looked at a few pictures so had a fair idea on what we were looking for and managed to pick it up fairly quickly. Nice tidy discreet cache. Cheers
Pleased to be able to swap my DNF for a smiley. I even got to utilise my tweezers from my trusty Swiss Army pocket knife. Nice hide, worthy of a fave point. TFTC.
