Taurus Six and I have taken an extra day off work to make it a five day Easter Break after meandering our way through the Metro suburbs yesterday. Today is day two of our break and we are here in the beautiful Swan Valley . We wanted to balance exploring the area with leisurely long winery lunches and of course as much geocaching as possible. The day was a beautifully sunny day just enough of an autumn feel with a little bit of cool in the morning and in the evening once the sun has gone down . The morning started off with an abundance of kangaroos, parrots and ducks which was delightful to observe . We picked of a number of Adventure Lab elements and traditional caches throughout the morning and late afternoon, there was an abundance to choose from which made it very enjoyable. This was our seventh cache find of the day along with nearby Adventure Lab elements . It was a little tricky to park here due to the way we had come to it and for some reasons there ere more cars around than for the rest of the morning combined. The find was still nice and easy and we soon had it logged s replaced. Thanks for the cache parkacruz.

This is a very busy road. I think I may have been rumbled by the Muggle who has the block next to the cache, he was lurking in the trees on his block and I only spotted him when I returned to the truck.

Just out and about picking up some caches in the area Smile Stopped off here on my way past today. No camels unfortunately, just a horse or two nearby. Cache was a quick spot but retrieving it proved somewhat challenging: the road junction is surprisingly busy with cars coming from all 3 directions constantly + the homeowner opposite was outside working and GZ was in his line of sight + the container was seriously snagged and hard to extract! But... patience patience patience paid off and eventually I had success Smile Phew. TFTC

Plans were made a few days ago with Barnzy12 and WebblyWA to come back up to Ellenbrook to try and clear up the massive amount of green dots that appeared after the CO,S event. We were hoping to grab all of them but the weather was terrible and we got soaked after finding the first one lol....The rain kept the muggles away but it didn't help us find some of the caches so I think we ended up with 70 finds and about 10 DNFS. Clearly a lot of hard work went into placing all the caches and I would love to say they were easy finds but that definitely wasn't the case with some of them and im very glad we bought a certain TOTT with us...Mr OOH YEH managed to work out Annies Landing a few days prior and I must admit that was a very creative cache well worth a fav point. Even though we got drenched we still had a fun morning of caching and we will be back in the near future to find the rest of them. TFTC parkacruz

A couple of days ago plans were hatched with ooh yeh and webblywa to spend the day caching around Ellenbrook to pickup all of the new Parkacruz caches that were published at their recent explosion of play event.

We knew we were in for a tough days caching after our FTF hunting efforts were thwarted with a large number of dnfs. It was much easier to find these caches during the daylight hours and after consulting a number of the attributes, precious finders and even the CO we armed ourself with enough info.

In preparation for the day mister ooh yeh had solved the Annie’s landing puzzle and the find there was one of the highlights of the day. The best cache of the day was the Phillips Library which is one of the best made containers I have found in all of my years of caching.

The weather was great for some of the urban hides as the rain managed to keep muggles away and allowed us to cache in peace. Although by the end of the day we were absolutely drowned out.

We ended up with nearly 70 finds for the day, and nearly 10 dnfs which is quite good considering how well placed a number of the containers are. Thanks Parkacruz for a great day out.

{*FTF*} I'd only just got home , let out the old dog and made myself a cuppa when the phone went BING_ BING_ BING_BING_. I didn't think it was going to stop. Looked at my phone grabbed the car keys and locked the door. I managed a few ftfs and had an enjoyable afternoon caching. tftc
