Revisiting Tamworth after living here for a brief moment 35 years ago. The goal was to join in on parkrun and to turn as many markers to yellow smilies!
Thank you Whitey Wiskas for your contribution to this great game.
A familiar hid on this chilly morning. I swear it’s getting colder! Muggles are on the move now so had to use stealth… I bet they were wondering what I was taking (pretending) photos of. Cache found quickly, signed and replaced as found.
Happens to meet the previous finder at parkrun yesterday. Certainly a wonderful community we are apart of.

Tftc Whitey Whiskas, camped at Chaffey Dam for a few days.
Out today for a few smilies.

This one took a while as well, as we overlooked it first time round. Another feel, after reading a bit, and had cache in hand, after expanding everywhere. TFTC.
What a glorious sunny day for some caching and we thought we would travel to Nemingha and surrounds to put some Smileys on our geocaching map.
A quick find was had at GZ. Many thanks for bringing us here.
Took nothing, but left toy figurine and geocaching sticker. Signed log. TFTC WW

Nice quick find.
We were a bit guarded about searching here as the coords wanted to take us in a different direction.

#7135 Day 6 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are in an around Tamworth NSW. We still needed to grab a few we missed on the way in and explore Tamworth in general. The weather was warm but calm today and lots of people are on the move.
A quick find.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas

Hi there Whitey Wiskas.
We found your cache **"Lodders Gully"** today.
We have journeyed over the range from Port Macquarie to escape all the school holiday/Christmas madness. Today we thought it would be a good idea to do some caches in the middle of town, while the streets are deserted.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

We've just overnighted in Tamworth on our way home after a road trip along Thunderbolts Way and Waterfall Way to Dorrigo with our new camper trailer in tow. This cache is less than 100m from where we are staying so I wandered over before we got onto the road again and made a quick find here on a brisk September morning ... 4° feels like zero, according to weatherzone.
Thanks for the find, which adds another county to my tally ... the plan is to add another four today as we drive home today via a slightly indirect route.

Lol we I stamped my stamp it was next to a stamp of a magpie and a wombat having a party lol no social distancing here
Found at 4:20 PM GAFF3.
Heading back to camp and we were wanting to do all the caches along the route, but it was Tamworth's peak hour and there was a stream of vehicles making it difficult to stop, so we only did a few caches here and there.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.
Feedback: The sign here says it is Loders Gully, not Loaders

With the cancellation of a quick overseas (caching) trip planned for this week, we decided on the next best thing.... a local caching road trip! Tamworth was chosen for its rich tapestry of unfound caches, and my wife liked the hotel she stayed at for work last year....
We headed out with a skeleton crew for some quick caches before dinner, grabbing 15 in the hour before sunset to bring todays total to 20.... a great start to the weekend....
It was a quick find here in the obvious spot.... TFTC!

Caching with magpiecottage. First outing in a few months as the world changed around us. Lovely to be free to meander and geocache again. TFTC, Whitey Wiskas, SL, My find # 391
Disturbed the cache guardian, which tumbled away from the container looking for all the world like a beetle, then unravelled itself into a house spider and scuttled back to the favoured spot indignantly.

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 3. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we headed out to do caching trails around Tamworth to the North. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost ever cache.
Thanks.

20,402. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 3 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be a big days caching. We aimed to hit some of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and a quick find was made. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

Found during a road trip from Brisbane to Adelaide with five days travelling and four overnight stops, via Ballina, Armidale, Tamworth (staying overnight), Bylong, Sofala, Bathurst (staying overnight), Cowra, Young, Cootamundra, Junee, Wodonga (staying overnight), Echuca (staying overnight), Kerang, Ouyen, Pinnaroo and on to Adelaide. With limited time for stops along the way , we targeted one or two caches in each of the LGA's we traversed, and a few extras at the overnight stops to boost the tally. I had a few hours to spare in the early morning so decided to complete a loop of caches near Tamworth before heading on our way. Thanks for the cache Whitey Wiskas!
Tamworth Day 2
Arrived into Tamworth & have set up camp at the showgrounds.
Hubby needed to be somewhere to watch Bathurst. After the start of the race we went out to do some caching. We have never been into this area before & most of the area has great views over the farmland.
Thankyou for placing this cache Whitey Wiskas

Found while still traveling north from the Clear Water Mega this was an easy find and the first for today leg. TFTC.
The last cache found on our Queanbeyan Mega roadtrip. Sorry Whitey, we couldn't make it stay in position (it was barely doing it when we arrived) so it's now down and covered in what was there. TFTC Whitey Wiskas.
We are on our way down to Canberra to attend the Clear Waters Mega Event. A few days ago, our attention was drawn to this newly published cache so we put it on our radar as a possible one to stop at on our way past (and hope it still had not been found by the time we had arrived).
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and we did a little happy dance as we added our name as [*FTF*].
Thank you for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy
