To explore the island today we are going from the east coast to the west coast. We drive over the Arthur Pass through very varied landscapes. Sometimes the valley is narrow, sometimes it is wide. Then again we drive along a wide river delta. We see bare mountain slopes and then again forested mountains. So our tour is never boring. On a business trip to NZ, but always make time for some caches. Today was my Birthday fun, so lots of caching to be done! All good in the bush and some closeby muggles just thought I was photographing the local mountains. Buwahahahaha

Vzbudila jsem se do chladnho horskho rna, ale dn mraky a u i vykukovalo slunce. A taky bylo cel den ndhern do 21C. Uvala jsem si cestu s vhledy po Grand Alpine Hwy cel den. Odlovila jsem spoustu keek na zajmavch mstech nebo jen u cesty a la i na pr krtkch vychzek teba ke skalnm tvarm. Projela jsem pes Arthur Pass a v mstn obci m na dlouho zdreli asn zbavn papouci Kea, kterm tu kaj hort klauni. A lumpaili teda dost. U mstn kavrny haj na lidi a jakmile si nco polo na stolek, jdou po tom. Nejdv rozflkali hrnek od kafe a pak se snaili sebrat i mj slan kol, ale zavas jsem reagovala a o obd nepila. V pozdnm odpoledni jsem u sjela z hor a docela byla rda za kus rovn silnice. Pece jen tden stle zatet trochu unav. Ped Christchurch jsem si jet nala srii challeng a tm dnen spn a krsn den zakonila a jela se ubytovat do blzkosti letit, odkud rno letm na severn ostrov do Wellingtonu. Dojedla jsem njak zbytky, dopila lhev kanadsk whiskey a balm kufry. Jin ostrov je krsn a 2 tdny na jeho prohldku nesta. Cel sever jsem nevidla a i v ostatnch stech ostrova mi zbyla msta, kam bych se jet chtla podvat.I slept today in a nearby bizarre hotel Otira Stagecoach Hotel and in the morning I set off for a mountain ride on the Grand Alpine Hwy. It was beautiful sunny weather and I really enjoyed the trip with views, caches and a few walks. I was also very amused by the Kea parrots, which take care of the entertainment of tourists in Arthurs Pass at the caf. I found a total of 40 caches and in the evening I arrived in Christchurch, from where I am leaving tomorrow for the North Island. Thanks to everyone for the caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.

Lets try this again. After a small foot injury stopped us from going further last week, we are back to do our maintenance check day up to Springfield... and of course it had to rain (sigh) As it was currently just a constant spit we decided to stick it out as far as we could hoping we would come into the forecasted good weather soon. This was our ninth stop. The book was abit dishevelled so we tied it up abit and popped everything back. It's all good here. Happy Caching

fter spending a rather sleepless windy and rainy night at Klondike Corner we ummed and arred about what to do today. We decided we would carry on with plan A for the day and find a few caches as we made our way to Christchurch.We had a look around this area when we last came through so today we just stopped alongside the cache and popped out of the van for a quick easy find.There were bus loads of people in the carpark and surrounding areas so we were pleased to just move along to the next cache.Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. After 7 weeks driving around through Australia we arrived the 2th November in New Zealand. For ten days we will cross the Northern Island and than for 2 weeks the Southern Island.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case gracie7 + Mum, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.

After traveling around Australia with Oopie for 7 weeks, we have now been traveling with the camper in New Zealand for 4 weeks. Along the way we will of course also visit various types of caches in beautiful places, including this one. Thanks CO for creating and laying this cache.

Adventurous crossing with my kiwi friend in the cave ( we had to go all the way back because the waterfall flow was strong) and we warmed our bodies afterwards with searching this original cache! Thanks a lot!

We're down in Christchurch for a few days and managed a day up in the mountains. Picked up quite a few different caches, and stopped here for a late lunch. I went up and collected this one whilst the others ate lunch and then we walked down to the cave mouth and over to the exit, and collected the other two caches. Great area, and a beautiful day for it in July. TFTC

Greetings from Queensland! We have 1 final full day in NZ so have come for a drive up to Arthur’s pass to check out the area.

We are heading back to Christchurch and we have a little bit of time to make some stops on the way back. After finding the other 2 caches in this area, we couldn’t leave this one, so went made made a quick find before heading back to the car. Tftc
