Some impressive old plantings here, and a nice easy find. I have headed off for a day and a half or so, planning to cache from Maldon, over to Red Bank then wending my way towards Creswick. i will hopefully be tidying up a few stragglers on my map, exploring more GCA caches and visiting at least a couple of new areas. ANZAC Avenue Lexton is find number 4,054 for me. A fun small sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Pyrenees Shire. I am logging this one on Tuesday 24 Sept 2024 at 12:02 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 18C 55% 5 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy GemmaSistema.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Found while out enjoying a lovely family drive through the area, a police car drove past as we were signing, stopped to check wheat we were up to but didn't speak to us, then must of realised so guess he knows about it and he took off again, that's part of the fun, TFTC and the fun
Found with ease, but as others have said, log was wet and mouldy. Placed a WIR pad in there for future cachers to sign. Thanks for the hide.
TFTC, quick find driving through early hours in the dark on my way back home to Robinvale from Ballarat. The wind is a bit chilly this morning but thats awesome. Something in bush made a noise and I was out of there lol. Pretty dark.
Youngest monster spotted it instantly but had trouble reaching it!! Log has seen better days and needs replacing. TFTC!
Found cache on the ground so I have put it back where the clue said took and log book is wet
Out with sorceysal for a few days at St Arnaud. Along the way we stopped to collect a few caches to add to our finds list.No problems here thanks GemmaSistema
On the way to St Arnaud for a couple of days with 6 hinemoa2. Thanks Gemma for a much needed break.
. Grabbed this one on my way home from Having 4 days off from work so my wife suggested to go geocaching so took her advice and came to St Arnaud for 4 days of cache searching.
Thanks to all the cache owners for placing them

Headed out on a run up to Lexton, then down through Beaufort and back to Ballarat, and this my next stop in town. Picked the wrong one to start, but then turned around and spotted the cache. Log signed and it was off for the next one.
Thanks GS...cache all good here.

This was another nice quick find for GT37 and I. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 12: Start to head home.
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way home from a Mega event. We made a detour via Geelong to drop off Bushfire yesterday. That done today we headed to Ballarat where we still had two more Geotour caches to find. [^] Again we spent the day juggling phone and GPS to do many Labs caches and any other caches we were passing with our next overnight digs in St. Arnaud. Many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs.
***Thanks GemmaSistema for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Whittlesea Event trip. Day 12. Caching today with brisal5.
Another one we emptied water out of. The log was dry enough to stamp though.
I found your D1.5/T1.5 Small Traditional called ANZAC Avenue Lexton at 14:52 on 25 November 2022. It was find #16592 for me. Thank you GemmaSistema for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Victoria.

On the way home from the VIC Rogaine Event. In Dunolly. Great weekend. Great Place. So much history with more to learn. Replaced wet log. Thanks to the cache owner.
A quick find here, spotted it from afar.
Signed and replaced and pushed back a bit further so it won't fall.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice day for a drive with the dog on board. After spooking a few cocky's out of the trees, the cache was found easily. Cigc. Tftc
Quick find on our way through! Container was wet inside and the log book was full TFTC
Lest we forget, another avenue of honour, seems like many country town sacrificed so much.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Cords and hint were spot on thanks. Needs maintenance cleaned out and new log book.
Returning home from a long weekend out at Avoca for the celebration events. Taking the long route back to gather some more caches along the way.
This was the first for the day and fortunately a quick find as the rain started. Sure enough as soon as the log was signed and I got back in the car the sun came out!
Thanks GemmaSistema for the cache.

FINALLY!!!!!! I cannot tell you how many times I have driven through Lexton and not stopped to pick up this cache due to dodgy phone reception. Today I came prepared and had a few "offline'. A nice quick find today.
In the area today with Wozzle 68 doing a bit of a tour around Avoca after the Community Celebration Event. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

I always enjoy seeing the Avenue of Honour's, especially in small towns. It's nice to know these people aren't forgotten. The log book is getting quite full. It's also nice to have a cache in this spot that isn't a micro
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find although the taller member of the team was required to retrieve the cache. The contents were slightly wet and the logbook was full. Some TLC is required. Thanks for the cache.
Always a nice drive coming through an avenue of honour. Pretty sure have never been to this town before either.
Heading through to Avoca via a roundabout route, we stopped in Lexton and picked up a couple of caches. We are selling our sop in Avoca so that we can travel around Australia, oh the opportunities to pick up so many caches all around our great country. We have driven through Lexton many times and haven't taken the time to stop and have a look around. One of the things that we like about Geocaching is that there are many caches associated with remembering those who served this country in various wars. We believe that if we do not learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it, so it is important to remember the sacrifice of those who went before us. Thank you, GemmaSistema, for its cache.
#335! Log book is really full and needs replacing. It’s also a bit damp! TFTC! Paul & Nic (Paulyj24)
A weekend away, hosted by the lovely chooknchunk. Today’s guided tour - Ben Major and surrounds.
A nice quick find on the way through.

Was told by my work to have Monday off from work so i turned that into 3 days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I picked a spot on the map that I can not remember ever visiting so Marybourgh was the spot.
After a couple of great days of caching and catching up with some good friends it was time to head towards home but a longer way home was picked so I could go via some towns to find some more and a few Adventure Labs on the way.
As I pulled into town I remembered that I have been here before to do a couple of caches and I also stayed at pub overnight.
A few caches have been added since I was last here and the ANZAC Avenue was the first one.
It’s great to towns remembering those who served to make us a better place.
After checking a few spots I soon located the cache, added my name to the log and now to continue my journey towards home.
Thanks GemmaSistema TFTC.

In Lexton today for a family get together with a relative we haven't seen much of in the last few years. Easy find if you approach from the right direction. TFTC GemmaS.

Seemed an appropriate place to leave the little army trackable in the avenue of honour TFTC. Nice and shady today.
This town has had everything in its glorious past. However not these days. The legacy is a football club, ampitheatre, avenue of honour, a golf club and a good looking playground.
We didn't see a soul all morning here in the ghost town it now is.
This cache like the others here was a quick and satisfying find.

Driving to Barkly 3hrs from home to visit a friend with SowaMLE with me having some caching adventures along the way.
Pulled off safely to the side of the road and had to wait until the young lad on his bike rode past before making our way to GZ.
Cache was easily found but it was in a bit of a rather wet/damp condition. So we got to work drying it all out and then taking out some unecessary clutter and the mouldy green matter a previous finder thought was a good idea to leave in there. We added a ziplock bag to protect the logbook too.
Walking back to the car we admired the sea of green lush plants beneath our feet. Then we were on our way again.
Thankyou for the cache here GemmaSistema
