Targeting some new LGAs on the way home to Sydney from Kosciuszko. Easy find, but wet log. TFTC
Left Goulburn this morning & were now camped at Daley's Camp in Belangalo State forest. After setting up camp we drove towards Moss Vale completing the Rememberance caches & the WIGO crop Circle. We finished the day driving to Bundanoon to do a couple of ALs.Such a big variety of caches found todayA nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks The Bushies for hiding this cache.
Heymissjo and I pulled away from the heavy traffic on the Hume to stop here for a smiley and a new LGA. Artax closed his eyes while we took care of things. The cache is in good nick.Weve not driven so far north before - well, not since we began our Geocaching Life. Now its time to get back on the Hume and keep moving north. Thanks so much.
#1868Having driven up from Melbourne for the Canberra GeoBash Mega, The Welder and I are heading up north for a few nights. We are a little excited, as normally our busy brady bunch family keep us busy and at best afford us to take a weekend away. But with lots of planning 18 months in advance, we have managed to get a whole week away together. A first for sure! So as we head to our next destination, we have carefully planned a route so that we can collect some new LGAs as well. But not only are they new LGAs but places neither of us have been to before, so we are looking forward to visiting some new places. What way to spend my birthday Roadtripping and caching! Happy birthday to me! All is well at the cache. Thanks for the hide.
A nice quick find on the way home from an event today. Thanks for the cache The Bushies tnln replaced as found sl
On the way home to Sydney from Broken Hill. Decided to take the 'scenic Southern' route via Griffith and to visit sporadic caches along the way. Saw this interesting series so detoured off to the old highway to visit a few.Hardest part is finding where to stop a car without being flattened by the semi's that seem to come by every 30 seconds! This is the first of four I visited before running out of time. As Douglas MacArthur said "... I will return " - for the rest of the alphabet call-signs.Tango Foxtrot Tango Charlie.
On our way home from an adventure today and we decided to take the scenic route home. We pulled off the highway and decided to collect this one. We have collected most of this series already and only needed to find J and I.
The geokids jumped from the car and headed towards the most likely spot. My son found it in no time and I went to work signing the log. We replaced everything as found and returned to the car. We were going to collect I as well but didn't really like the available parking, so decided to leave it for another day.
TFTC The Bushies, we have definitely enjoyed collecting this series.

Decided to head out early on my trip to the ACT to visit my kids and grandkids and take to long and easy way by picking up some caches along the way and use the time to clear my head and get some more fresh air. I was able to take my time and do this as normally my muggle missus would be with me, but she’s visiting one of our other kids and grandkids in another state!
I had come by here a few years ago, but unfortunately didn’t get an opportunity to complete this series. Being on my own, now was the chance.
Last of the series. My GPS had me all over the shop, and I was finding myself in amongst thorny bushes, but this didn’t make sense by the hint. Eventually, common sense reigned.

Last one in the Remembrance Trail. Very poignant to do this trail today. Thankyou to the past and present members of our Defence Force. Thankyou to The Bushies for creating this trail.
Last find of the day thanks for all the hides had a great Reflection on my day out geocaching at this one
Having spent the night camping at Belanglo State Forest, we headed out for some caching in Berrima with surroundings.
This was the first one we found, without much trouble.
We then got the impression that the rest of the caches in this series were to be on the 'wrong' side of the road, heading north, so we decided to take the rest on our way back.
We then found that the assumption was wrong, the cache lived on both side of the road.

Heading to Sydney to pick up So and had some time to spare so I detoured for some caches.
Parked the Geomobile to block my activities from the road and made a nice quick find - TFTC

Our first full day in the area and what a lovely winter day it turned out to be. Sunny and little wind, a great day for caching and sightseeing.
We decided to head off to Berrima to do some sightseeing and also to tackle a few series, the WACCO Wherigos, Words of Indigenous Australia, and Remembrance. We had pre solved the Indigenous language series during COVI lockdown.
A good run was had although we did have a few DNFs and managed to complete some multis as well. A good day!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache The Bushies.

A day run up to Sydney with LuckyL10n to go to the footy, stopping for a couple of caches along the way. Pulled off the highway for this series, however as we were on the wrong side of the road we only grabbed a few. The ones we found were found without issue and once the log was signed, we were on our way again.
Thanks for this series The Bushies....will be back the rest one day I'm sure.

#14599 - 10:42; Collected this cache on the way to Sydney with Sol de lune and the geostudent to watch the mighty Carlton Blues take on GWS Giants. The caching today was much like the football result, successful and well worth the effort. Needing a few caches to top up the daily tally, a detour through Berrima was in order and we collected a few in this series before the roadworks, although parking was an issue with most of them! Quick diversion on the road back to Bowral this afternoon. Found with Steeba.

Hoojar and I teamed up today for an early morning assault primarily on the challenge series around Marulan/ Towrang but then into Goulburn. What was hoped to be achieved by lunch dragged well into the afternoon but we did have quite a successful day out. TFTC!
Found quickly exactly where one of the team predicted!! Good caching knowledge. TFTC
Picked out a few caches to do on the drive back from Sydney with the new car. This was one of them. In fact I did this whole Series which was easy enough to access on the road side and most caches were found very quickly
Thank you The Bushies for putting the cache series out and maintaining it.

TFTC Beautiful autumn day for a drive in the county, out in the Southern Highlands collecting some more smileys.
Grateful thanks to CO for placing and maintaining the caches to entertain me on my journey.

We are returning home to Sydney after a windmill quest to Adelaide. Not far to go now and we had started this series a few weeks ago so thought we'd take a short detour off the road. This one was quickly grabbed with only one vehicle passing while we were there. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Travelling north in the hope that Dayboro Mega will continue but I think it is a forlorn hope. While waiting to see what will happen I have very dear friends in Casino worthy of a visit so that's the agenda.
I left home very relaxed about 11 am and have pulled up in Taree for the night. Wow that Northconnex (?) tunnel in Sydney is incredible.
Back to the cache . I only wanted one for the day so the sooner I grabbed one the sooner I could relax and enjoy my drive. Just as I walked across to claim the cache there was a string of trucks turning right whose drivers and passengers all were intrigued, well that is how it seemed, to see me walking away from my car. Not that they enquired if I was alright. lol! It was a quick find, sign and replace once the coast was clear. TFTC The Bushies.

A nice quick find after caching in the area after a Community Event
Thanks The Bushies for placing this cache.

I have driven past this series many times now, but never stopped as there have always been other caching goals in nearby towns that have brought me here, such as multi's, puzzles, Wherigo's, AL's etc!
But today, the only goal was to attend the Community Celebration event in Berrima with Sui_001!
I worked a morning shift so we had a short amount of time before the event, and not much time after the event either to get home before dark. Sui was also keen to pick these up too, so finally was able to stop and find these, wooohooo!
Glad to get most of them off my map now, although we did DNF one that was supposed to be in the guard rail. Oh well, one cache is easy to pick up next time I zoom past!
Thanks Bushies for hiding this trail, and Sui for the help. Always good with two people, especially since parking was tough at a couple!

Busier time than expected but quickly found. Log is a little shabby but dry now.

On our way to Melbourne for our annual xmas visit and we set up camp at Belangalo and then headed off to do this little series. However it became quite hot and the tall grass played havoc with p-pprass's hay fever. Should have seen his arms - looked like they had been bitten by a thousand mozzies!
Thanks The Bushies.

Nothing like a nice series to end the day. Did not find them all, but I was keen to get home.
On our way to Berrima and took the old Hume to attempt the Remembrance series. All found except 2, one where I was reluctant to venture through 15m worth of long grass in shorts and thongs, hiding potential nasties and one DNF, logged separately. All others found and in good condition. TFTC and the series The Bushies.
A quick find. Logbook is very wet I signed DSD on the cover and on one of the pages
A big day in the Highlands caching today. With so many new caches popping up, there was a plethora of caches to choose from. Taking advantage of the longer daylight hours and many solved puzzles, I was able to find some good numbers.
Another good series that was nice and easy with plenty of park n grabs.
Thanks to the CO's for placing the caches I found today.

TFTC,
Counting down to the end of the year and with a big effort today, I reached a massive statistic that I will never get another chance to achieve with my 33 cache finds today. This year has been a massive year with so many achievements and reaching an average 8 caches per day is the personal crown on top of everything else.
I achieved it with a trip to the Southern Highlands and by leaving early, we beat the heat and finished about 1:00pm.
A big thanks to all the cachers who have placed and maintained the caches that have helped me reach this milestone.

Last cache in the series. It was a very successful morning with all my planned cache stops found and a couple of extras that I wasn't planning to stop for as well.
I'll be looking out for more in the series, all the way to Zulu.
This cache was a different type of hide to the others in the series. What a noisy spot this is!
I considered looking for some more caches but the bushfire smoke was beginning to descend on the area so I headed back to Sydney.

After catching up with friends at Berrima over lunch, we thought we’d do some caching on the way back down to Canberra. This little run back to the highway was nice and the caches ensured a stop and reflection on the remembrance Trail. Thanks to the Bushies for placing this and the other in this section.
Ah don't you just love smart phones when they log caches automatically... quick find TFTC.
Found with sjg66 on our highlands weekend away. Lots of great and interesting caches, thanks to all the CO's for the hides and maintaining them.

A nice easy find to finish off International Geocaching Day. Lots of powertrail caches, some other miscellaneous caches and an event in Bowral. I even stumbled across a place to put a new hide. Not a bad day out and about! TFTC.
My last chance to finish off the mystery at the museum mission, and only one day to do it. Also i had to wait until after soccer before heading out. I doubt I'll finish until after dark again.
Thanks for the cache.

Last on the road for me before home. I'll have to come back and grab A another day- already procrastinated enough for one day! Thanks for the trail.
Also, just recalled finding a cache here years ago, had to climb the shale hill to locate it.
I was planning on grabbing the cache in Penrose State Forest but bad weather was setting in, just as I was passing Sutton Forest. I had a quick look at the map and decided to turn around and head into Berrima. Thankfully it was a quick find here. TFTC
Had this trail outstanding for quite a while now and it neede to be of my map. All quick and easy find, parking nil issues as it was very quiet on the road.

Tackling the current challenge, mizmaz decided a road trip was needed and the highlands was our destination. With the sun and temp dropping we attacked this trail. Thanks for a great trail dedicated to those who fought so bravely.
