Logs
Just picking up a few more caches with goingplaces2 while still in the area. We limited caching for the day due to the heat. Logs were signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Came along on a hot day with ilook4geo to add some more caches to our collection. There were a few caches we selected for the day and each found log had two more names added to note our visit. Thank you to Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.
My geodog Scruffy wanted to look for some caches, so I thought, "why not?" So we decided to head to Caboolture and do a few Labs & other types as well. All Good .. TFTC ..
I have been eyeing this trail off for a while since I moved to a not so far away place. I need to increase my caches in the Sunny Coast LGA for a challenge and I wanted to get the kids out for a bike ride. Week after week someone was sick or busy. But today, I was able to make it happen. We only completed the first part. There seems to be a chunk of the caches no longer active which is a shame. I couldn't convince the kids to do the last lot so I might make that a solitary trip one day when I am running solo.
I parked at the end of Old North Coast Road, and proceeded on foot to grab the first five of the *B/W Trail* series. I had always thought that I'd bring Cottontail and my bike to make a morning of this series, but it was just as enjoyable jogging along the old track. My first geocache of the day, and I was thankful that I had a quick cache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. It was interesting that there was no sign of the previous finder in the logbook though. Thanks [Slow Puncture (LJCC)](https://coord.info/PR7770T) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, with a free work calendar, I headed north to the Glass House Mountains vicinity and attended the [Sunset at Wild Horse Mountain Lookout #2](https://coord.info/GCATD6Q) event. I dealt with the start of peak traffic congestion as I vacated Brisbane, and I just had time to walk part of the Beerwah Way (B/W) Trail geocaches and see the Bora Ring before then admiring the scenic sunrise. It was then an opportunity for a few more B/W Trail geocaches, before returning home.
Found while walking dog along this trail. log book is damp, no baggie, Thanks Slow Puncture(LJCC)
24/02/2024 - 13:33Lack of signal meant no assistance from the hint or previous logs. GPS playing havoc but got there in the end! Log book very damp marcussjd9#196TFTC
Whilst on a geoadventure that took me in a loop from Beerburrum, Glass House, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford and back to Beerburrum, this was my third find of the day. A quick and easy find, like most in the series. Thanks Slow puncture!
Finally back to the start of the series after pushing the bike with a flat tyre about 3km. I can imagine this would have been a nice bike ride! Found with RovingWombat. Have a favourite point for your effort in putting this musical journey together.
Headed up to Beerburrum for a day of caching in the area and this B/W Trail was high on our list . The overcast weather made for very enjoyable day and we were pleasantly surprised by a well maintained path snaking through the trees. We tackled the trail on electric scooters which handled the terrain easily and the dense trees provide good cover when a small rain shower passed through.
We passed quite a few QLD Rail workers chopping down more trees and it will be a very sad day when this trail is eventually swallowed up by progress . All the caches were right where they were supposed to be and all in good condition. A fav point for the trail. TNLNSL TFTC .

This one might be be gone soon , pink ribbon flapping everywhere here .
Made the trip down here to do the Bike Trail
The hides were all fun. It is a pity that the road widening has cleared the trees that were once along this route
Hope that the bike path will be replaced.

Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache B/W Trail 1 - We've Only Just Begun on 30/6/2022, 10:20 am. This is my find 3644 and find # 1 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
#14394 - 6:39:00 PM; Day seventeen of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. Left Bundaberg this morning heading for Caboolture, collecting caches along the way to add some more counties to the collection as well as some adventure labs too. All caches were found in good condition unless noted in the log. Last stop for the day (night?) and the cache was quickly located and signed by torch light. Logs signed L.L10n & Sdl or vice versa. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Day 17 of the road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n for the mega and today was day 4 of the drive back to Canberra.
After a second night in Bundy it was time to head off for Caboolture, with a few stops along the way of course. Heading along the back road to Childers we stopped for a few interesting caches to help with a few different cache types.
Only time for one in this series today (which was night by the time we arrived) but hope to get back one day for a few more.
Many thanks for yet another cache on the trip Slow Puncture.....

First find on this track! Thanks for this. Beautiful part of Queensland. Noisy traffic but amazing walks nearby.
Attacking this series on foot today. A bit warm but a nice stroll along the path.
Found in good shape.

Staying up in Landsborough for a few days and thought I would do this little trail, wished I'd bought my bike up but I don't mind walking just the same.
One thing I did forget was the mossie spray, my goodness after the rain, there are sure out in force.
A nice quick find here, thanks CO.

TFTC. Again after a read some logs I widened search and found 7m out. Log signed and replaced in same spot.
Time up on Sunshine Coast for a few days and today was to tackle the B/W Trail. I decided to do this Trail while riding my recently acquired E-Scooter. The Scooter handled the Trail without any problems and got thru the B/W Trail 1-12 caches I decided to do today. The caches were easily accessed and did have no trouble locating. Did not feel like anyone was watching me (wait a moment, I did not see one person go past while out doing these caches on the Trail). Signed the log and placed caches back where found. TFTC Slow Puncture
Aaaah this was our last cache today & think our tanks were empty! A big day out but we will return & try again
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while enjoying a walk in the area Thanks for the cache
A fantastic trail for the geokids with big containers, lots of swaps and easy caches to find (we used the iphone). The end of the cache trail but only half way for us as we get to do the return ride back to Glass House Mountains. But first, the bakery for lunch.. [^] TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC).
1:45:00 PM. We have looked at this trail for a while. So today we parked up at Glasshouse and got our bikes and I hooked our doggy trailer on for Zara and off we went. Well the last cache and the longest to find. We are bother tired and glad to be at the end. Eventually I made the find and was glad to sign the log. Now off back up the trail to the pie shop we saw on the way down for a late lunch. A great series and thanks for the enjoyment. We didn't think we would finish in one day. Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Wow! Took a while with so many fallen trees and GPS bouncing around but well worth the hunt. Found 2 TBs. TFTC
Today was going to be a long day. The bike in the morning doing the trail from glass house welcome to Beerburram, then in the afternoon doing the 27 Club and caches that we pass. A good 2nd day in Beerwah.

Today we arrived into Bewah to spen a couple of days before heading towards Dayboro.
We teamed up with the Snakepitters the guys going off to cycle the B/W trail, The said it was good to be out on the bikes. A couple of trees had fallen down accross the track.
Very happy to have found them all. A favourite point given for the trail
Thankyou Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.

I couldn't find this one after a significant search so wandered off along the track to find a few of the others. After finding number eight, I decided to walk back and maybe drive the van to the nearby rest area another day for the others. I did eventually find this one on the other side of the track to where I was previously looking.
I have some concerns about this series:
I walked 4.2 kilometres from the van to number eight.
Drawing a track on my home computer, it's only 2.2 kilometres.
Therefore, I walked two kilometres, mostly in circles, to find these eight geocaches.
No, it's not going well.
The GPSr was jumping around like a frog on a hot plate at most of the eight. At one stage, it wanted me to cross the highway to a point 40 metres away.
I know in the past I've caused you some moderate distress, so I don't mind if you are smiling at my distress. I did indeed find all eight, so that's a good start, and it was a delightful stroll, even with the traffic noise and occasional noxious exhaust fumes.
I intend to return for the rest, sometime, but if you could arrange a road blockage of some sort to halt the traffic flow, that would be appreciated.

I had contacted Geonayfee and said we hadn’t been caching together for a while did he want to come along for a morning of caching. I had planned to grab “little boxes” and the ones along the trail leading up to Beerburum .
After our success at our first cache we hit this trail thanks to the CO’s who placed all the caches along the way here. We found all caches and some were quick finds and others took a little longer, but all were in good condition and still in play. There were some interesting caches and a variety of sizes and placements, so again thank you. We signed all logs and left caches as we found them. A very nice drive, walk and bike series for us today.

We decided that a bit of a walk was in order to start the weekend so headed to Beerburrum to follow this trail all the way to Glass House Mountains and back again, picking up all the caches along the way. We were lucky to have perfect walking weather and were delighted by some of the cute cache containers we found. Great way to spend the day. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
we were supposed to be doing this trail today but the rain spoiled our fun hopefully we can come back soon and finish it off.
Today we were hoping to complete this trail but the rain spoiled our plans! We managed to get this one before the skys opened up and we had to abandon our mission. We will definitely be back though to hopefully complete it!
Working in the area today and made a nice quick find.
Once the log was signed everything was replaced as found.

Woohoo! Celebrating some relative freedom with just me (seeker) and one of the Aussiemates. Beautiful day for a walk, some caching and a catch up. A good start for us. TFTC
Found with NiciDanielle. At the base of a fallen tree... Lol take your pick there, GPS was bouncing which didn't help. Eventually found GZ and the Cache. Dropped a TB. TFFC
In the area visiting family and a quick find today. Signed the log while the mozzies wanted to get a piece of me. TFTC
This was a brilliant walk. All the coordinates were spot on and the containers a nice size which meant I wasn't at the mercy of the mozzies for too long. I didn't put any repellent on my face or neck so that is what they went for. At the end of the walk we crossed the road and sat at a table to eat our lunch ready for our walk back to the car - after a 13 km walk which included crossing the main road twice. Once for lunch and lastly to buy some delicious lychees and sweetcorn from a stall by the side of the road.
Soon after we started it began to rain. Mr L insisted that he didn't mind how wet he got so we carried on. Heavy rain turned to drizzle until finally it stopped. We were either wet from the rain or, on the way back, when the sun came out, perspiration. We ended up tired but happy.
Unless otherwise mentioned, all caches were found quickly and in good condition. There was the odd damp log but no problem to write on. TFTC and a favourite for the series.

An easy find first thing this morning before I meet up with some fellow cachers to head up Mt Tibrogargan to find a few oldies and to enjoy the views.

A quiet (for me) week off work so far, and so Crew153 and the mighty Geofalcon offered to get me out up this way and about for the day. And so it begins. Bike trail power caching - on foot and in car. Parking was not great, but no scratches or dings, and a smiley as bonus.
Thanks Slow Puncture for entertaining me at this location.

Pprime and I took a day trip around loop from Beerburrum, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford to find the caches in the area.
After finding about 8 caches along the way we had finally arrived at the start of this trail. Now to get some series caching done.

Out with kiwiz@gz after days plans went south, so we decided not to waste the outing and do some caches instead. Tftc
Heading to Landsborough today to pick up the kiddos for the weekend, always try and break the drive up by grabbing a few caches along the way. This was the last of the day.
I didn't realise this was a path so I'll be back when I've got more time to finish the rest of them. Wandered in circles for a little bit back and forth before finding the right downed tree.
Cache found all good, in a good condition, the bag needs replacing though as it's completely ripped out the bottom.
Thanks Slow Puncture, looks like a great path of which I'll most certainly be back.
