Logs
Just picking up a few more caches with goingplaces2 while still in the area. We limited caching for the day due to the heat. Logs were signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Came along on a hot day with ilook4geo to add some more caches to our collection. There were a few caches we selected for the day and each found log had two more names added to note our visit. Thank you to Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.
My geodog Scruffy wanted to look for some caches, so I thought, "why not?" So we decided to head to Caboolture and do a few Labs & other types as well. Log very wet. TFTC ..
I have been eyeing this trail off for a while since I moved to a not so far away place. I need to increase my caches in the Sunny Coast LGA for a challenge and I wanted to get the kids out for a bike ride. Week after week someone was sick or busy. But today, I was able to make it happen. We only completed the first part. There seems to be a chunk of the caches no longer active which is a shame. I couldn't convince the kids to do the last lot so I might make that a solitary trip one day when I am running solo. Very wet book. Peas soup put in paper which I was grateful for. Also soggy but could write on it.
I parked at the end of Old North Coast Road, and proceeded on foot to grab the first five of the *B/W Trail* series. I had always thought that I'd bring Cottontail and my bike to make a morning of this series, but it was just as enjoyable jogging along the old track. As I continued along the track, I departed when my GPSr pointed inwards that a geocache was present. This geocache had me searching for quite some time, as there were many nice hiding nooks and crannies. Eventually after 5-10 min of looking, I located the cache about 8-10 m away from the posted coordinates, with my GPSr indicating the cache at S 26 57.003' E 152 57.550'. The cache container was in good shape, but the log was quite wet, so I added my stamp to the recently inserted sheet. Thanks [Slow Puncture (LJCC)](https://coord.info/PR7770T) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, with a free work calendar, I headed north to the Glass House Mountains vicinity and attended the [Sunset at Wild Horse Mountain Lookout #2](https://coord.info/GCATD6Q) event. I dealt with the start of peak traffic congestion as I vacated Brisbane, and I just had time to walk part of the Beerwah Way (B/W) Trail geocaches and see the Bora Ring before then admiring the scenic sunrise. It was then an opportunity for a few more B/W Trail geocaches, before returning home.
Container was half full of water, logbook saturated, put a note pas page with my stamp sign, in a zippy bag, Thanks Slow Puncture(LJCC)
24/02/2024 - 13:42Much as with some of the previous logs, I headed for the obvious spot and once there could see the actual hiding spot. Wet log book again sadlymarcussjd9#197TFTC
Whilst on a geoadventure that took me in a loop from Beerburrum, Glass House, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford and back to Beerburrum, this was my fourth find of the day. A quick and easy find, like most in the series. Thanks Slow puncture!
Good work on the series Slow Puncture (LJCC)! Found with RovingWombat on a hot summers day.
AtTheLakeHouse and I had a plan to do Yul-Yan-Man Track today. I was a little early, so had time to find a nearby cache or two. I looked for the first one, but I had my prescription sunglasses on and it was tricky in the early light to find a cache in shadow and perhaps buried under a bit of scrub and so considering I was on a time limit, I left the first one and made for this one. There was an obvious target, but after a few minutes of looking around, I found another option which turned out a much better choice.Well, one out of two is better than zero! Thanks Slow Puncture for this cache. One day I'll grab the treadly and do the trail.
Headed up to Beerburrum for a day of caching in the area and this B/W Trail was high on our list . The overcast weather made for very enjoyable day and we were pleasantly surprised by a well maintained path snaking through the trees. We tackled the trail on electric scooters which handled the terrain easily and the dense trees provide good cover when a small rain shower passed through.
We passed quite a few QLD Rail workers chopping down more trees and it will be a very sad day when this trail is eventually swallowed up by progress . All the caches were right where they were supposed to be and all in good condition. A fav point for the trail. TNLNSL TFTC .

All good here
Made the trip down here to do the Bike Trail
The hides were all fun. It is a pity that the road widening has cleared the trees that were once along this route
Hope that the bike path will be replaced.

I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to a Physical Waypoint of [GC86KP2: B/W Trail 3 - The Night Owls](http://coord.info/GC86KP2) and will need to be moved. Please read the following item on [Cache Saturation](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachesaturation)
I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

You are looking for a big log not far from the path. Cache might have moved a bit since placement, but all good now and left where I found it today.

Second find! Trail getting prettier! Lovely little forest area . Wonder if we’ll see any wildlife…
Finally found 11m closer to trail than gps coords. Above cutting. Logged the log.
Attacking this series on foot today. A bit warm but a nice stroll along the path.
Found in good shape.

Staying up in Landsborough for a few days and thought I would do this little trail, wished I'd bought my bike up but I don't mind walking just the same.
Another quick find along the trail, thanks CO.

TFTC. Found on the way back to trail after widening search as suggested. Iphone GPS showed it as15m out. Glad to have another smiley; enjoying the series but will bring bike next time and finish it.
Time up on Sunshine Coast for a few days and today was to tackle the B/W Trail. I decided to do this Trail while riding my recently acquired E-Scooter. The Scooter handled the Trail without any problems and got thru the B/W Trail 1-12 caches I decided to do today. The caches were easily accessed and did have no trouble locating. Did not feel like anyone was watching me (wait a moment, I did not see one person go past while out doing these caches on the Trail). Signed the log and placed caches back where found. Found after widening our search & reading previous logs, GPS about 15 mtrs out for us TFTC

We remember this song being released... at the time the Beatles could have sung about letting out bath water and it would have been hit. When you're hot, you're hot.... when you've got a good hint and great co-ords you've got a cache. [^] TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC).
1:30:00 PM. We have looked at this trail for a while. So today we parked up at Glasshouse and got our bikes and I hooked our doggy trailer on for Zara and off we went. After searching and reading previous logs the better half found the hide while I was away in the bush. Co-ords are way out. Log signed. Maybe we are getting tired. Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC)

Caching has never really been about the numbers. I drive generally over a thousand km's a week (some for work, some to explore, some for the kids, and some just because I have to) so there's always a cache or two to break up the drive. Having said that, I also enjoy numbers, fulfilling challenges, and quirky statistics. It's for this reason, I'm going to aim to fill my dates found and dates hidden this year, and a few other challenges in the local area.
Heading to Cooroy for a 1800 appointment, and traffic on the highway was absolutely atrocious so Google Maps pushed me onto Steve Irwin way. Needed a cache to fill a calendar spot and I had already done number 1 of this trail, so number 2 it was. Good easy parking on the side of the road and a quick stroll down the park resulted in a nice quick find.
Cache was all in good condition and I'll finish this series off one day when I bring the pushie up.
Thanks for the cache and the series **Slow Puncture**

Today we arrived into Bewah to spen a couple of days before heading towards Dayboro.
We teamed up with the Snakepitters the guys going off to cycle the B/W trail, The said it was good to be out on the bikes. A couple of trees had fallen down accross the track.
Very happy to have found them all.
Thankyou Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.

After DNFing the first one, I spent a long time searching here also. Eventually came across the thing after reading a log that suggested a certain distance and direction away from GZ. For me, it was the right direction, but almost double the distance. Anyhow, I found it and signed the log. Putting it away, I picked up my GPSr and it said I was almost in the right spot. Insert long primeval scream of frustration.
I had contacted Geonayfee and said we hadn’t been caching together for a while did he want to come along for a morning of caching. I had planned to grab “little boxes” and the ones along the trail leading up to Beerburum .
After our success at our first cache we hit this trail thanks to the CO’s who placed all the caches along the way here. We found all caches and some were quick finds and others took a little longer, but all were in good condition and still in play. There were some interesting caches and a variety of sizes and placements, so again thank you. We signed all logs and left caches as we found them. A very nice drive, walk and bike series for us today.

We made this one a lot harder on ourselves than needed. You can see it without digging, just a bit tricky.
The GPS gave me the run around here but eventually found it . All's good at gz Thanks Slow Puncture
GPS was a little off when we tried to find it but we got there eventually. TFTC
Even though I’m on foot... I thought it rude to do only one cache in the trail so I moved onto here... I was tempted by the Telecom Phonecards but decided to leave them... I remember when people used to collect them...
Tftc... replaced the snap lock bag and left some American coin...

We decided that a bit of a walk was in order to start the weekend so headed to Beerburrum to follow this trail all the way to Glass House Mountains and back again, picking up all the caches along the way. We were lucky to have perfect walking weather and were delighted by some of the cute cache containers we found. Great way to spend the day. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
GPS had us chasing but a previous log saying it was spotted on way back was big help. Started again from the track and there it was. Tftc
Freedom!!
Out for a walk and a successful day of caching with Stealthseeker.
TFTC and the laugh. While SS was searching, I spotted it from a distance.

Woohoo! Celebrating some relative freedom with just me (seeker) and one of the Aussiemates. Beautiful day for a walk, some caching and a catch up. Great series of caches. Took TB
Found with NiciDanielle. Nice easy find. Last one for the day, we'll be back again for the rest of the series soon! TFTC
In the area visiting family and a quick find today. Signed the log while the mozzies and March Flies wanted to get a piece of me. TFTC
In need of a few smileys for today’s date, I jumped in the car with Jelly the Wonderdog and up the highway we went. It was a lovely sunny day but a bit on the really freaking hot side for both of us. Thankfully there was lots of shade along the track.
We parked the car and strolled to GZ, passing a few muggle surveyors on our journey. I wonder what they are up to? By the time we reached GZ they were far behind us. I followed the geotrail up the slope and spotted what we had come for. Left some scribble and a TB, then replaced the container as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture

A quiet (for me) week off work so far, and so Crew153 and the mighty Geofalcon offered to get me out up this way and about for the day. And so it continues. Bike trail power caching - on foot and in car. Another smiley on the walk back.
Thanks Slow Puncture for entertaining me at this location.
