Logs
Just picking up a few more caches with goingplaces2 while still in the area. We limited caching for the day due to the heat. Logs were signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Came along on a hot day with ilook4geo to add some more caches to our collection. There were a few caches we selected for the day and each found log had two more names added to note our visit. Thank you to Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.
My geodog Scruffy wanted to look for some caches, so I thought, "why not?" So we decided to head to Caboolture and do a few Labs & other types as well. All Good .. TFTC ..
I have been eyeing this trail off for a while since I moved to a not so far away place. I need to increase my caches in the Sunny Coast LGA for a challenge and I wanted to get the kids out for a bike ride. Week after week someone was sick or busy. But today, I was able to make it happen. We only completed the first part. There seems to be a chunk of the caches no longer active which is a shame. I couldn't convince the kids to do the last lot so I might make that a solitary trip one day when I am running solo.
I parked at the end of Old North Coast Road, and proceeded on foot to grab the first five of the *B/W Trail* series. I had always thought that I'd bring Cottontail and my bike to make a morning of this series, but it was just as enjoyable jogging along the old track. As I continued along the track, I departed when my GPSr suggested a geocache nearby, and of course I had to walk through many orb spider webs around this spot. I must have walked right past the geocache before reading a few logs, and then thinking about the cache name a little further which helped to locate the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Slow Puncture (LJCC)](https://coord.info/PR7770T) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, with a free work calendar, I headed north to the Glass House Mountains vicinity and attended the [Sunset at Wild Horse Mountain Lookout #2](https://coord.info/GCATD6Q) event. I dealt with the start of peak traffic congestion as I vacated Brisbane, and I just had time to walk part of the Beerwah Way (B/W) Trail geocaches and see the Bora Ring before then admiring the scenic sunrise. It was then an opportunity for a few more B/W Trail geocaches, before returning home.
While walking dog along this trail, did also locate a few caches, this one just hanging in there, Thanks Slow Puncture(LJCC)
24/02/2024 - 14:01Knew this one was going to be in a slightly different spot to the previous ones from the name. Checked a few of the wrong trees before my partner spotted this one. Nice little hide.marcussjd9#200TFTC
Whilst on a geoadventure that took me in a loop from Beerburrum, Glass House, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford and back to Beerburrum, this was my sixth find of the day. A quick and easy find, like most in the series. Thanks Slow puncture!
Out on a bike ride/walk from Beerburrum today with RovingWombat and this was next on the list. RovingWombat spotted the container and we quickly signed the log and replaced due to the mozzies. Thanks Slow Puncture (LJCC).
Headed up to Beerburrum for a day of caching in the area and this B/W Trail was high on our list . The overcast weather made for very enjoyable day and we were pleasantly surprised by a well maintained path snaking through the trees. We tackled the trail on electric scooters which handled the terrain easily and the dense trees provide good cover when a small rain shower passed through.
We passed quite a few QLD Rail workers chopping down more trees and it will be a very sad day when this trail is eventually swallowed up by progress . All the caches were right where they were supposed to be and all in good condition. A fav point for the trail. TNLNSL TFTC .

We weren't hanging around here too long BL made short work of that
Made the trip down here to do the Bike Trail
The hides were all fun. It is a pity that the road widening has cleared the trees that were once along this route
Hope that the bike path will be replaced.

Maintenance performed on this cache today. I've replaced the tether with something stronger.
Decided to get out for a walk before it go too hot. Nice easy find and a lovely walk along here. Unfortunately my time was short lived before I had to return home so plan to come back another day with Nayfee to complete the rest.
Thanks for bringing me here

Attacking this series on foot today. A bit warm but a nice stroll along the path.
Found in good shape.

Staying up in Landsborough for a few days and thought I would do this little trail, wished I'd bought my bike up but I don't mind walking just the same.
Another quick find and all good with the cache, thanks CO.

Time up on Sunshine Coast for a few days and today was to tackle the B/W Trail. I decided to do this Trail while riding my recently acquired E-Scooter. The Scooter handled the Trail without any problems and got thru the B/W Trail 1-12 caches I decided to do today. The caches were easily accessed and did have no trouble locating. Did not feel like anyone was watching me (wait a moment, I did not see one person go past while out doing these caches on the Trail). Signed the log and placed caches back where found. TFTC Slow Puncture
Found this one on our way back after looking for 1& 2 but no luck there. Good to finish on a find! Been a big day we will be back! TFTC

Riding the B/W trail from Glass House Mountains to Beerburrum and back again. What a smart idea to link up the towns with a trail. Found #5 hanginaround... hey, a child lock... TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC).
1:07:00 PM. We have looked at this trail for a while. So today we parked up at Glasshouse and got our bikes and I hooked our doggy trailer on for Zara and off we went. Went a bit far in and then the GPS turned. Found and log signed. Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Beautiful GeoWife is really enjoying finding this series of caches. Having a great day out. TFTC
Today was going to be a long day. The bike in the morning doing the trail from glass house welcome to Beerburram, then in the afternoon doing the 27 Club and caches that we pass. A good 2nd day in Beerwah.

I was on a roll now. This was another one I walked right up to. Seems the procedure is to spray Bushmans everywhere, walk into the bush and sign the log.
Not far before I reached this GZ, I saw a couple sitting beside their Juicy van trying to have afternoon tea by the side of the road. They were having a lot of fun swatting mosquitoes, and I really thought about offering them some repellant, but the can was a bit light and I didn't know how much worse the mosquito attribute would get.

Out and about with Chamad on this wonderful Boxing Day to complete the B/W trail series, Hamilton series and any other caches that were in the vicinity. The weather was perfect with a hint of cloud at times to make the day a little more pleasant. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience today and how can you not enjoy the backdrop of the Glass House Mountains, we really do live in such a wonderful location where we can experience places like this. After several hours we decided to call it quits, I finished the day with 30 finds and unfortunately 1 DNF.
Thank you to each an every CO for placing caches at each of these locations and for giving us a reason to visit.

I had contacted Geonayfee and said we hadn’t been caching together for a while did he want to come along for a morning of caching. I had planned to grab “little boxes” and the ones along the trail leading up to Beerburum .
After our success at our first cache we hit this trail thanks to the CO’s who placed all the caches along the way here. We found all caches and some were quick finds and others took a little longer, but all were in good condition and still in play. There were some interesting caches and a variety of sizes and placements, so again thank you. We signed all logs and left caches as we found them. A very nice drive, walk and bike series for us today.

We are moving along a bit better now. Nice trail would be good with the bike but will see how we go without. Clue helped in making it a quick find. Thanks slow puncture.
So I returned to the car and drove to this cache... my GPS had me in a very open position, but when I asked “where would I put it?” The caches position became evident...
Tftc... replaced the snap lock bag and left some American coin...

We decided that a bit of a walk was in order to start the weekend so headed to Beerburrum to follow this trail all the way to Glass House Mountains and back again, picking up all the caches along the way. We were lucky to have perfect walking weather and were delighted by some of the cute cache containers we found. Great way to spend the day. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
On our way to Dicky Beach for our holiday and decided to pop in and spot this cache. TFTC

Woohoo! Celebrating some relative freedom with just me (seeker) and one of the Aussiemates. Beautiful day for a walk, some caching and a catch up. We found this cache as the name suggested. TFTC
Found with NiciDanielle. Managed to just spot it through the treeline at a glance. Lucky, its the sort of cache that could drive you nuts after a while. Good hide. Picked up a TB. TFTC
In the area visiting family and a quick find today. Signed the log while the mozzies wanted to get a piece of me. TFTC
In need of a few smileys for today’s date, I jumped in the car with Jelly the Wonderdog and up the highway we went. It was a lovely sunny day but a bit on the really freaking hot side for both of us. Thankfully there was lots of shade along the track.
We were muggled out at the last cache. Silly surveyors were standing right on GZ Ah well, save that one for another day. Skipping that one we made our way to this GZ. Jelly was having a hard time of it by now, wearing a black furry coat in this heat mustn’t be much fun. So I cranked the aircon and she watched on from the cool of the car as I made a quick find. Left some scribble and a TB.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture

A quiet (for me) week off work so far, and so Crew153 and the mighty Geofalcon offered to get me out up this way and about for the day. And so it continues. Bike trail power caching - on foot and in car. A smiley on the walk forward this time.
Thanks Slow Puncture for entertaining me at this location.

Pprime and I took a day trip around loop from Beerburrum, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford to find the caches in the area.
We were parking close to caches and then doing a walk to the ones close to it and then moving on to the next parking spot.

Again, it took me a while to find this one. But on the plus, I've finally realised the song titles reflect the hide. That will help me from now on! TFTC.
