Appears that the cache has been mugged, Ill archive until I can get down there and replace
One of eleven caches found today while visiting Mount Field National park. We planned to do the Russel Falls track, the Tall Trees walk and the Lady Barron Falls circuit with some muggle friends, and had planned to try and find twelve caches on the walk, and another one at the entrance to the park. We had to leave two of the caches due to lots of muggle walkers, but found the other eleven. These are some very good caches in a very nice area, thanks for placing them here. Sorry about the late log. Thanks for the cache Rocket2015!
A short walk from our campsite and the lost Barron was found. Love the walk along the river. TFTC
The path was closed, not sure if that is permanent, but glad we came to the barrier. A strong flowing river and amazing greenery thanks rocket2015
Camping here for a few days, finding a few caches in the area on a few walks. Quick find. TFTC
Thanks for the cache Rocket2015.
With the GeoGSP's in doggy daycare today, it was time to head to a national park to find some caches - and it was a cracker of a day at Mt Field today.
I used to love walking along this track during the summer I worked here. It was prime platypus spotting territory. No luck today, wrong time of day.
A bold hide quickly spotted.

Quick and easy find in the morning, only a few steps away from the campground so a good morning walk before breakfast. The track looks appealing indeed. TFTC
Beautiful walk, however it wasn't really a clue rather than the exact location
We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to Rocket2015 for the generation of this nice cache Lost Barran (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Day 3 of our Australia Tour 2023, travelling from Hobart to Mt Field National Park. In the afternoon we walked the Three Falls Circuit.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks for this cache as it explained the stairs to the previous cache. Easy find TFTC
Found after staying a night in the Mount Field campsite, very discreet but clear instructions.
Spent the northern long weekend in the area to attend Albys event in Adamsfield and grab some caches in the area. Also a great chance to show this part of Tasmania to our visiting German Student who is just as happy to tag along on a caching activity as anything else.
We haven't done Russel Falls in a few years so it was great to come back particularly with the amount of water around at the moment.
After walking the falls circuit we came down to pick this one up and have one last look for Platypus in the river, no luck on the animals but the cache was in place. TFTC

Unable to do the loop of caches, track is closed. Sad face.
On a 10 day trip to the Apple isle. Grabbing a few cache along the way. Thanks

If earlier I’d head up to the falls but maybe another time. Lovely river running by. Tftc
An easy find Thanks for the cache Log sheet was full so added some paper Cheers
Second time in Mt Field, such a nice place ! The campground is really amazing, I enjoy staying in here ! The track is just next to the campground, seems to be a nice walk but didn't go any further the warning sign.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
'Tis a shame this lovely track can't be reopened. Cache is well but log full and me absent paper. TFTC
It's been a few years now since we last paid a visit to Mt Field - our previous visit ended pretty much immediately upon arrival due to the 2019 Gell River bushfire (it was an impressive sight though!) The previous visit was in early 2018, barely a month before we saw the light and took up geocaching. As such, apart from being well overdue for a visit, we also had a few caches in the neighbourhood to collect! Today ended up being the day.
Following a walk to Russell Falls and a spot of lunch at the playground, it was time to head off on the next stage of our visit (a drive up to Lake Dobson). We figured we'd make a beeline for this one on the way, since it looked like a quick detour.
We loved the easy walk along the riverside, such a pity the track is no longer officially open! We soon found ourselves prevented from progressing any further along the path, but fortunately the GPSr suggested we had no need to. Not having thought to check the cache size, a likely-looking spot almost led us astray, until a closer look at our immediate environment soon revealed a cache sitting in plain sight. Probably pretty safe from the muggles though!
Thanks for the cache!

Pretty sure I did this a couple of years ago. Maybe an archived one? Thought it was further along. Who knows with old age. Nice river anyway. Thanks Rocket2015
Log book is full bar room for 1 more name.

We must be getting old, we were so convicted we have done this one in the past, but apparently not. Doesn’t really matter, as it’s still a beautiful walk on an evening like this! Thanks for giving me motivation to get out if my camping chair!
Monday, 11 March, 2019 then 932 days later, i decide to return better late than never, hey ha ha.
Today, Tuesday the 28th of September 2021, i wanted the 6 green boxes that have grown on my map since then, so off i went setting out at 06:03, from Rokeby with light traffic [The reason for rising so early ]
Parked nearby and took the short walk to this one.
The cache was spotted and the log was signed at 09:49.
The scroll within is dry
(The rivers around this part of Tassie, are all running well given the rainfall and snow-melt. All the waterfalls at Mt Field National Park are quite impressive and noisy at the moment... well worth the hike to them )

Such a shame this track is closed! Thanks for bringing us to this place. The hunny bunnys.
What a great day at Mt Field, beautiful walk with stunning waterfalls, a magic place this is. Nice to finish off the day with a short stroll along the river. Quick find here with EeePees before we headed back to the city. Tftc Rocket2015
Found with Davinells (DIL).
Yep, I remember this track well, as a user in the past.
This is a fantastic location especially these stretches alongside the river.
Thanks for the cache Rocket2015.

No getting lost here! Ventured along a pretty good track in the dark after a big day out exploring this fab Park. Got spooked by two girls looking for for platypus (with beer in hand!) probably gave them a fright too TFTC and info - AND jolly good hint!
Such a special find, saw a platypus playing in the creek on my way to this cache. Mt Field is one of my favourite places, so beautiful. TFTC ️
We have been travelling for 2 weeks now and sightseeing and caching along the way. Stayed at the wilderness lodge and travelled many tracks. What a magnificent area, I wish we had more time. Walked to a couple of waterfalls, beautiful morning.

Looking for something to fill in time whilst not studying, it was suggested that I finally get around to logging THOSE caches long found but never logged. Some even have funny stories of being visited not only once or twice, but a few even have had a third or fourth visit before realising I've been there done that. The date is as near to the correct day the cache was found. So sorry for the generic and late log.JABs.
Our Tassie Christmas holiday continues as we enjoy tripping around, but spending far too little time in each place.
Today found us exploring Lake Pedder and Gordon Dam and camping at these beautiful campgrounds. The cache was an easy 200 metre walk in a pretty mossy walkway.
Thank you for your cache.

It was very pleasant down by the river this afternoon. Accurste coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Rocket2015 for the cache.
Called in while up this way looking for some trout. Found cache easily but unfortunately no trout. TFTC
Before darkening, we took a short walk until the path stopped. Here we were able to find the cache after a short search. Thanks from Switzerland.
990 Beautiful day for a hike. We went to the 3 falls along the hike. Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls, and Lady Barren Falls. A leisurely 2-hr walk/hike, and finding the cache along the way made it extra fun.
We had to go through the Mount Field Campground to get to this cache.
TFTC Rocket2015!
