Was not expecting this. Thanks for the cache

We had just turned onto the access road and we were pulled over by the local police. Apparently this is now ALL Commonwealth land and the geocache needs to be removed and placed in a different location. There is no way they would allow us to drive the track to the cache.

Cache needs to be moved as it's on Commonwealth land. We were pulled over by the police.

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 98 - Coral Bay to Exmouth. My short stay was over and I was off for another drive. After packing up, I went for one more cache here in the bay and then hit the road. No stops till I reached Exmouth. After setting up, I went to find out what other accommodation options were available, and it turns out the overflow camp whilst it has power, has the powered sites reserved for medical emergencies. So, with no extended stay I headed out and did a bunch of the cache at the point and lighthouse. Sad to see the old campground deserted, bet the lighthouse lookout is still spectacular. I had dinner at the pub after a drink at the local brewery. It looks like Onslow will be my next stop.I was not sure about this one, but a carful examination of the satellite images revealed some possible trails, and they actually existed and were not blocked, so I made my way in to this cache and found the container neatly hidden. The lid is cracking around the rim, but it is mostly under cover and currently dry. Thanks for the cache IslaySmiths48727.7 Tk TB tag, LNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2012 NZ MEGA A#240**Albida**

We left this till the last day. It turned out to be a pleasant 21 with a light cooling breeze as we walked the 1.5 km up the track from the main road. The cache site was an interesting spot with some history. The box was quickly found, and log done. Thanks for the cache.

12-Aug-22
We were on a driving/camping holiday up to Exmouth with a few stops on the way and than camping our way back to Perth. Stopping for some caches along the way.
Found some lovely and learned some interesting things that we wouldn't have stopped to look at if it wasn't for caching.
A great time was had, even though one day our campsite was flooded and we had to move to a new site, many animals crossed our paths including a snake in Exmouth, overall it was a great adventure.

Loved this one

21-Aug-21
Behind with logs again, ( Suprise! Suprise!) a combination of laziness, lack of time (there are so many cool things to see and do!), low data and a broken phone have meant I have found myself very behind with logs again, making an attempt to catch up while I have some downtime in airconditioned comfort and suprisingly good internet while out in the Pilbra. Now to remember them all... Aghh!
Thanks for being one of the caches we found sorry once again for the generic log, Cheers TT

A great location here, a very exposed well that’s for sure!

A great time heading to the North West on a little wander out yonder holiday. Travel from Perth to Exmouth and back staying at many different locations and accomodation styles.
