I found this cache as I headed back to Adelaide after a trip to the Northern Territory with Freddo for a few weeks. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition. Thanks Homer&Lisa for the cache.
We did not have play chicken today.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were traveling in air conditioned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the fifteenth day of Augustus Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a lot cooler. Still no wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Away for the June Long Weekend with TheWhiteDogGang. We based ourselves at Orroroo and travelled far and wide over 4 days. We managed 1,500 kms during our travels. We managed to find some really old caches, one from 2001, and even managed to get all 9 terrain ratings. Not bad for 2 old farts with no coordination. The weather was dry if not cold on occasions.A good way to spend 4 days.Up I went and found a cache.TFTC

Travelling with iluvtrekking on a SA caching foray. Staying in PA for a couple of days. Ventured out Montrose way and surrounds to grab a few finds. Thanks Homer&Lisa
Found on a sunny but cool day with richlink as part of our annual caravan geocaching trip. Some great views of the valley. Thanks Homer&Lisa.
I signed this on 1/1/20, and found it again on 23/5/23. Due to limited mobile connection, none of these logs sent, so here it is! TFTC
My 2nd day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. Today I left from Applia and ended up in Iron Knob for the night. This cache would be find number 5 of 34 for the day and find Number 13 in total for this trip away.
Was looking in all the wrong places but it all eventually clicked in to place and I found it.

I found this one on 1/1/2020 with the comment 'Happy New Year'. Due to limited phone connection and my limited technology knowledge, the comment has been stored all this time. We drove past it today. TFTC
Couldn’t locate for a while until reading previous log suggesting appropriately 8 metres out. Then looked and found easily. TFTC

North again with Jack and the gorgeous Purrfect Di.
Saw more sights. Checked more shops. And found more caches of course, like this one...
Not the safest spot. Saw a likely gap, crack, hole in the rocks. Almost reached in... but the large shingleback flared up near the entrance and shooed me out of there. Looked around and found the fence in a much more normal sort of spot nearby. Got out before the trucks come!
Thanks go to Homer&Lisa for placing and maintaining this cache on our northern areas geo game map

Looking each and every day finding and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for any old bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Heaps of appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count!

Took Mogni for a trip to the Flinders Rangers for the long weekend with extra day either side. The target for the trip was to clear some of the " used to be a church " micro series on the way up and on the back as well, complete a couple of station tracks plus hike to Blinman Pools. We where not expecting a couple of 34 degree days then a 30 km wind dust storm followed by rain over night and then the wilpenda pound walls covered in fog for the next 1/2 a day. It did change our plans a little and the order we did things. All containers we found damaged, broken, cracked were replaced and were possible ( if not soaked ) original log books were kept. Any log books found full were replaced or if room had extra scrolls added in to the cache.
A long weekend away with sir_spectre in the Flinders Ranges. We had each been here before and strangely had few double ups so some revisiting was in order to try to get our maps similar. The weather threw everything at us but we just made our plans suit the conditions. Lots of 4WD and walks included.
Thanks to Homer&Lisa from mogni

Hanging around port pirie waiting on van repairs has allowed plenty of caching time. Last night while looking for our next area to hit up we spied the FTF symbol....really a chance for FTF thousands of km from home, too good to miss! Having said that we got caught up with silo art and forgot to keep an eye out for the turn off. 9km out of town geoD says "where was the ftf?" So it was an about turn and a revisit of wambirri and a quick find to spy an empty log book. Thanks for placing the cache and giving us our first interstate ftf.
