Out for a morning ride with the geo kids. We made the find. What an excellent built cache. It looks like this cache will need to be moved as fence posts have recently been installed so access won't be available much longer
It was pretty hot by now and Steve & I were starting to wilt, but we were not about to pass up a nearby Washawa’s cache. Another beautifully crafted cache awaited us and Steve got straight into MacGyver mode to try and break free the logbook. Took a little time before he gained access inside the jail, then the incarcerated logbook was presented to me for the signing duties.
Thank you Washawa for another excellent cache.

A nice hide and the key works fine, it's really sad that people can't think this through and have to force the cache. I enjoyed the cache and thought about it and the key was soon in the lock and the log book signed.
Thanks Washawa for the cache.

Lovely cache which took some getting into and the keys didn't work, fortunately we managed. A fav from me for imagination.
Wow, I'm impressed! I wish I had the imagination and skill to create a cache like the ones made by Washawa. It was an easy find but a near to impossible task to *get to the damn log book!* None of the keys worked although one came close. The one I could actually insert (unlike any of the others) would only turn less than 90deg in the lock so couldn't unlock it! After reading previous logs and having long skinny fingers I was able to carefully extract the little plastic box that held the log, sign it and shove it back in. I hope this is not how it's suppose to be done because at some stage a sausage fingered doofas will wreck the cache trying to get to the log sheet.
None-the-less this one, like "I love Gallifrey" certainly deserves to be added to my eclectic list of favourites!

Forget that this is an urban area and there are more people around when it feels a semi rural area. After logging cache returned to track and nearly bumped into a person as I was just so unaware.
Found easily but can see why so many of the previous logs so they "bypassed" the method needed. There is so much work in this cache that needs to be respected. Don't cheat!

I am SO SORRY but I have not favourites left. I would have given this one if I did.

Yet another really cool cache along this trail!
Unfortunately the key has broken as others have noted but the log is still accessible so I got it signed anyway.

Found, love these caches! Key has broken but still accessible if you have small hands!
A nice and easy find, however the way to gain access has been damaged.
It's still secure enough, but might need a look at soon.

#1310 - A lovely designed cache on a nice Winters day. Had some troubles with the keys so ended up making a contraption to extract the log.
Everything back safe and sound, thanks for the adventure.

Broken key successfully removed from lock. Clearly was the wrong key. Ha.
Right key is still on the chain.
Good to go for another year.

A gorgeous morning to go for a stroll to find this cache. After collecting my 'nearly seven' nephew from his dad's work nearby, we started off on his first geocaching adventure. As we walked we discussed the world of geocaching, the etiquette (rules), and what a cache might look like. He walked with my phone, following the compass and the creek and, before too long, we were at groundzero.
What a fantastic cache! He loved figuring out how to open it, pehaps we were a little too enthusiastic. We are very sorry, but the cache will stay locked without maintenance. Pehaps there's a cacher nearby with tools/skills to solve the problem. We are so sorry
We used our fingers to reach in and extract and replace the log book but couldn't rectify the damage we'd done. We are "very miserable because we accidently broke a key" A fantastic cache that's very much deserving of our favourite point. I hope it's an easy fix. Please message me if needed.

I was on a bus driving job to the nearby sports facility so went for a hike along the trail.
A few muggles out and about but none close when I ducked off to find this cache.
I don't know what all the fuss is about : I found the key as per the hint, opened the lock, signed the log, stopped the jailbird from flying the coop, and locked it all up again.
Seriously, a clever construction and field puzzle, love it, well done.

Thanks for the heads up Rosie_Roo.
Padlock fixed. Same key.
Door hinges have come lose but turns out they are not needed anyway.

I think the lock might need a bit of maintainence. We got into the cache, but with a good deal of jiggling and wiggling!
So good! Despite finding the cache easily we had to work hard to be able to sign the logbook! TFTC

I found myself in the wrong side of the creek but luckily I found a way across not too far away. I saw a bunch of big carp as I crossed.
At gz I examined the cache and was lucky enough to find the solution on my first try.
Thanks Washawa for the cache. A fav for me

Another field puzzle cache. This is beautifully crafted. We unlocked the log and signed our name. Just gorgeous.
Another field puzzle. This one I fiound a bit harder but not oo hard. Another Fave.
Fantastic, that gets a favourite point fromm me! Thought I was going crazy until I had an idea and sure enough! Not the easiest one to bring the pram into but we went off road! TFTC
TFTC. Great cache. Tried all the keys but it might be rusted. Bring WD40 next time!
Second visit to this one. And I did my research beforehand. But I didn’t need any of it - so simple and I got it in seconds. Why did I not see that the before!!!TFTC
Tried all the keys numerous times but none of them opened the lock. Very cool idea
Found but couldn't work out how to open it. Will have to try again another day when it's less busy. Tftc!
I was in the area and had a few hours to while away so I decided that I would make my way to the Dandenong Creek Trail and grab a few caches along the way.
A straight forward recovery of the log. TNLN. TFTC.

Today we came with a friend to check out some gadget caches. This was the second, and again another delight. I am so impressed by the workmanship on these.
As soon as we saw what it was, I remembered a YouTube clip I had seen from West Virginia Tim, with a similar themed gadget cache, so I knew it wouldn't be straightforward and I was right. My oldest got a nasty fright from an huntsman, but the rest of us carried on regardless. We worked out what we needed to do and we got in!
Left a TB.
Another great fun cache. We will award a FP to this one also when we have one available.

Tried all the hints but could not access. Will try another day when there are fewer muggles about. Very cute!
Accompanied with silence49 & Lance51 had a great time finding your cache fav from me
Washawa, thank you so much for placing it.
Washawa, thank you so much for placing it.
The second cache where the wise words of a six-year old saved the day. We thought we were on to this one pretty quickly, turns out not so much. Until we finally listened to Ivy. She was pretty exasperated, "Aunty Manda, I said that to you three times already . . ." I hung my head in shame . . .
Wow thank gosh for the bestie cause my brain was way too far in. And thanks to MD for his input too!
Took me a little longer than it should have!! Devious!! Theres something about sovling these that gives me an immense feeling of satisfaction!
Had me fooled for a little while but soon found the sneaky trick. Another great cache. Thanks for putting so much effort in for our enjoyment.
Well, definitely had us a little perplexed but eventually worked it out. A favourite from me. TFTC
Very clever. Clue is correct, just not immediately obvious. Door is broken, but you don't need to force it. It can be unlocked. Just think about!
That was so so awesome!! Out on a special 10th birthday adventure and we found that amazing cache! Took ages to work it out and honestly not entirely sure we did although we did manage to sign the log. Thanks so much!
This one was another piece of Washawa brilliance - so well constructed and the ol trick had me for longer than I would like to admit. tftc - fav
Awesome hide couldn’t manage to get the log because the lock didn’t seem to work! Will try again with some oil
Tried the keys and as expected from previous logs none worked. Vague memory of a similar cache and then it hit me. Quickly unlocked signed and closed again.
Another awesome cache. The keys are the problem bring some oil with you for the lock, TFTC
Well... this is really very, very good, isn't it?
I found the means of access easily enough but after (I so I thought) trying all the options I was unable to deliver freedom. Following an earlier log, I was able to get hold of, sign and return the log anyway.
Walking away from doing this, I had a surge of regret. Although I had signed the log and returned everything very nearly as I had found it, I hadn't really completed the find, had I? So back I went and tried all the options again. Somehow in doing this I found an option that I could have sworn I had tried, but clearly hadn't. All of a sudden it was open. I straightened everything up, put it back exactly as I had found it and moved on, content that I had completed the task.
Of course you get a favourite point for this. TFTC

Caterpillars moved on. Appears as though they got so fat they couldn’t get out.
Good to go for another year.

Continuing my way along the trail, i eventually arrived at GZ, but had to wait for a few muggles to pass before making my way in. This one took some thinking but eventually light dawned on thick head Another favourite point left in the box for the CO
Thanks to Washawa for the cache.

One of three caches sitting right on the edge of my 5km zone, took my allowed 2 hours and some hand sanitizer to grab these in the afternoon. Took about 20 minutes to try to work this one out. Tried the obvious keys, as others have said, they didn't work. Looked around for another key, before I realised that with a bit of effortI could get the log out and sign it without actually opening the door. Good one! Replaced and back on my way. Bike track teeming with people this afternoon. All wearing masks which is good.

Well this took longer then I would like to admit as I completely ignore the obvious for far too long. Fantastic effort has gone into this one. Awesome work. [^] Took TB to move along. A nice morning and Day 40 of 365 completed. Nice area.

Took me forever to find the right key knew which one it was but couldn't get it, trying the wrong way, left a little friend for the jailbird, hope he doesn't get eaten!
"Why won't these keys fit?" I screamed internally. "Because you haven't tried the right one" replied the wiser self, and so it was. With the right key the lock opened easily, but then I realised how obnoxious Red is and locked him up again. Thanks Washawa for the puzzle.
Headed out to Jells for a bit of a stroll with Trailstevo to clean up the area. Been a while since I’ve been here and with a few newish cache they circuit was complete. Found three trads and two multis, and finally Emergency Marker is complete. I had about 3 false starts on this one, not sure why I struggled before, seemed straight forward today.
Then on the way home stopped to find to Washawa cache, as always never let down with a surprise and huge cache building effort. They are great and certainly deserving of a favourite point.
Thanks for the adventure.

This was our favourite today. By far my favourite sort of cache. Not too hard to find but you have to use your brain a bit to open it. Thanks so much, the kids and adults alike give this one a favourite tick.
This one had us frustrated for a good 30 minutes. Read some of the activity and finally figured it out! Favourite from me! TFTC
Yet another really high quality cache from Washawa! fantastic and fun! Thank you!!!
Oh, another tricky cache. Love it, so cute. We must not be very clever. We tried all the keys....nope. What is the trick?? We will be back when the light is better.
I seem to be using up all my faves on the CO's caches as they are sooo creative. I decided that a walk along the Dandenong Creek trail would give me the much needed daily exercise I required now that all my sporting and other activities have been cancelled. I ended up with a much longer walk than I intended as I parked on the other side of the creek and being a nice sunny afternoon I wandered along that trail for a km or so until I realised that I would have to walk several km before finding a bridge that crossed the creek.
I wandered back to my car and drove to the correct side of the creek. I parked in the suggested parking area and wandered across the oval and then along the trail to GZ. I followed the geotrail through the long grass and was confronted by a very cute cache. I had no problems working out how to release the jailbird and therefore get to the log, which I signed at 5:30 pm. TNLN. I put everything back together and even though the cache hadn't been found for several weeks I still used hand sanitiser after finding the cache to stay safe. I then headed back to my car.
Thanks Washawa for another very creative cache and for all the activity I got walking along this awesome trail. A very clever and well-constructed cache and a wonderful walk along the picturesque Dandenong Creek trail so this cache gets another fave from me too.

Nice jail to that was made for the Birdy but a bit of a way to get through all of the long grass. TFTC
I parked my car and walked to a track then somehow I looked at the map that I have to across the river to reach this cache. Found this awesome creative you made. It kindly me a little laugh but love it. Signed it and return to jail. Fav for me. Thanks Washawa for placing an excellent cache.
