Logs
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Millicent for a few days to grab some finds placed for the ill fated Mega 2020. There have been some newer caches and puzzles collected too. Replaced missing container. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are staying at Millicent and caching in Southend, enjoying the rough coastal scenery. Thanks for the cache. ?? LNCU
quick find. Those rocks would sink a boat. Found container broken log soaked. walked back to the car.new container outside and inside plus new logsheet. Found with Mogni. I think this is the most changed trip in the planning stage that i have ever been on. The " original trip " was supposed to start on the 31st of dec but at the start of December life changed and the trip was now starting on the 26th of December and all accommodation that had booked cancelled and now see what else is free on the earlier dates. A major readjust of plans and got 1/2 the trip booked before the next curve ball came in to alter the plans again. More adjusting the plans again and i realized i could host 2 CITO's in 2 different LGA's in Victoria. What we do to qualify for Victorian challenge caches. Also i got my 20, 000 cache over in Victoria in this trip. It was decided in the end that the 4x4 was going to be the vehicle for this trip that way we could go and target all the caches that you never get, the ones down the sandy/rocky/dirt and forestry roads/tracks. We left Adelaide and headed to Casterton for a couple of days, then to Budj Bim National Park ( and saw 5 koalas in the camp ground high up in the trees ), then over Heywood, a night in Mount Gambier plus there attended the 3rd CITO of the trip before sending a few nights in Millicent and then finally home. Over 250 caches found plus 86 lab caches. Mogni also got her 11th D/T loop. I also got 3 more Victorian LGA's up to 20 finds minimum for another Victorian challenge cache. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was replaced with a new container and if the log sheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
TFTC! 31 December 2023 4:37:48pm 6996This morning is day 2 of Millicent. Picked up some target caches for our DT loop, plus high favourites. Now enjoying g the coast and some caches!
Weve been staying at the sailing club every year and always visit this cache and have left lots of stuff in it
It has been many years since we have been in this area. Enjoying our time with the added bonus of geocaching this time.
Caught up with 2beez as they headed back this way. We camped for a week here in the bush camp. It was a good place to base ourselves and drive to spots instead of dragging the caravan everywhere.
The days were mainly nice and we had some big thunderstorms at night. This morning we had hail.
Thanks GeckoJ for placing for all to enjoy. Quick find.

Found during a trip to the SE with Team Waldron targeting Kingston, Robe, Beachport and Southend, with a few other cache finds along the way. Thanks for the cache GeckoJ!
Away for a couple of days with Featherwaite.
We concentrated on Kingston, Robe, Cape Jaffa, Beachport and Southend.
We mainly found all the cache we were looking for.
The hint made the find easy.

TFTC found after a little while, container content wet. Managed to sign wet log. Cache really needs attention (dry content & replace log).

We stay at this sailing club with friends and family every end of the year and we found this 2 years ago and added to it and it’s in an awsome spot
Thanks for the cache. What a beautiful ocean view. Sea was a bit rough and stormy today.
Decided to do a spontaneous day caching trip seeing as the weather is kind and I had the day off. Unfortunately there was a bit of litter in the area that tricked me into thinking it was in fact the cache. Tricky one. Removed some rubbish, bits that I could reach anyway.

Suscoe headed out today in the terrific company of Phetlern.
It was another cold day with showers flowing through from the south west as the day went by, luckily for us we only had a few directly overhead.
So between the showers there was sunshine and plenty of time for caches.
We had multis, traditionals, a virtual, an Earth Cache and Adventure Labs on out list for today and we found quite a few along the way.
This area of Beachport and Southend is a delight with fabulous coastal views today.
Thanks to Geckoj for this hide.

In the Millicent area for a few days, we are signing the logs as Vic1. Thanks for placing the cache GeckoJ.
Today was day 3 of a Millicent blitz with McLookers, Alansee, BeckNmonts, Maccamob and Rabbitto, all signed as Vic1.
My thanks to GeckoJ for the cache.
My thanks to GeckoJ for the cache.
Found by Mary and David, in company with McLookers, beckNmonts, Alansee, muzza, and Rabbitto (signing as VIC1), at at 11:35. Day 3 of our trip, planned to tackle the many caches around Millicent, as we'd been locked down last year and unable to attend GV2020. Our thanks to GeckoJ.
Over in SA again with a cut down group of geocaches compared to last time. We felt it was time this group of Victorians found some Millicent caches, as we were banned from the mega! We are signing the logs as Vic1. Thanks for the sometimes challenging caches GeckoJ!
We found this cache today on our Millicent Meander - Day 3 in company of Maccamob, BecknMonts, McLookers, Alansee, and Muzza. Starting the day at Rendelsham. We signed the group as Vic1. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Found with a team consisting of BecknMonts, McLookers, Maccamob, Rabbitto, and Muzza. This was our third day in the area and was windy and cold again. We found fewer caches today but that is caching. Many thanks to the CO's for the placements.
Found it, everything in tact with lid on - little bit of dew on the log but nothing too bad
Nice easy find for a novice like me. THTC. Log is soaked even though in a plastic bag, and is pretty much full
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

A cool coastal settlement
Meandering up the Western Australia coast, the Northern Territory, and South Australia, we have finally arrived down south of SA.
Down the Highway and byways, tracks and trails, the geological, historical, the fun geocaches, traveling this great country through the eyes of a geocacher has lead us to some fantastic outlooks.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these Geocaches, it makes the Adventure more interesting.
We found your cache container, a nice quick find, and with signing duties done and dusted we replaced it as found.

Today was a trip to Southend with a cache or two thrown in for good measure! Easy find here. Many thanks for the cache.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age. Wow that is a big house nearby.
