Absolutely loving these themed caches! While filling out the log book a police officer stopped to see what we were doing in a bush haha
On a 2 week family trip going through the simpson desert from south eastern victoria and grabbing some caches on the way .Out plans changed due to the rains so we needed to flip our route and start our desert crossing from dalhousie Springs and finish at birdsville. Now at birdsville we are stuck here due to all roads being closed for now.Anyway back to the cache.Nice find and a gave us a rest breakTFTC
Thanks for this series. Great little break up on the highway. Many strange looks.
Day 7 of my holidays today I left Murray Sunset National Park after a wet night and I made my way south. I made it as far as Donald where I set camp up for the night. I managed to find 27 caches today and 2 DNF's today.Life is like a box of them.TFTC Kelligula
Miss Five was thrilled to find this one, not so thrilled by the huge white tail in residence! He was quickly moved on and the swaps were topped up for the next kiddies. TFTC
On my way from St Arnaud to the Adelaide Mega with a planned overnight stop at Ouyen I targeted this series to be found. This is another movie I have seen quite some time ago. Being 40 degrees I rested up in my accommodation for four hours before venturing forth but it was still 40 degrees so this cache fortunately was a quick find. I was pleased to be back into the air conditioning and on my way to the next find. Thank you for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.
Hay To Sherlock, stopping along the way where suitable with a caravan on.There has been many new caches placed since we were last here, taking us to some interesting locations while touring the area. Thanks Kelligula for hiding this cache.
Heading to Longreach QOGM 2023 caching along the way… hope I get there as so many to find!

Australia Day caching run.
I decided to head north as there is quite a few more caches on the way to Mildura. Some time ago we (Tyred n Cranky and myself) had the road mostly clean out up to Red Cliffs.
Today was a solo trip where my first cache was at Sea Lake and I only made it up to, just south of Hattah and out to Underbool.
It is the ATMWTH series that has certainly put Ouyen on the map and this cool series took up most of my day.
Well I could use so many puns here....
Another great themed hide Another smiley on the map and smile on my face. And fave given.

Continuing our trip from Melbourne to Darwin and back, we are now on our last leg of the journey, leaving Mildura we will be grabbing a few geocaches on the road and spending the night at the show grounds at Boort and then home to our own bed on Saturday night. Nine weeks on the road, fourteen thousand kilometers, thousands of dollars worth of diesel, left on a rainy day and enjoyed eight weeks of rainless holiday to arrive home on a rainy day.
A quick photo and then back on the road.
And such a nice box of chocolates…
**Thanks for placing this cache Kelligula**

After spending a few nights at Cullulleraine, we are now headed south on our maiden voyage in the new caravan. Selective on what caches to target, and this was one of them. Some we missed due to drizzly rain, some didn't have adequate parking roadside, and others, well the navigator was distracted and missed the mark.
I was on the ball with this stop, and it was a quick find before continuing our journey.

#12976 - 4:21:00 PM; Day 3 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. We didn't quite get to Echuca last night, but we did enjoy comfortable accommodation and a great meal at the Falcon Hotel on the highway right next door to the Downunder Dunny. After collecting that cache, we set off for Echuca and a spot of caching in and around the town, avenging a couple of GCA DNFs from our previous visit. We then hit the Murray Valley Highway again as we headed west before turning onto the Mallee Highway near Piangil, then the Calder Highway at Ouyen for our next overnight destination, Mildura. No problems getting our names into the log, before continuing on our mission. TFTC Kelligula and RamaTim
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now on the road from Echuca to Mildura. The plan today was to stop for a few selected caches...those that looked good, those with a few favourtie points..as well all the regular and large caches we could find.
Left Echuca around 9.30am, arriving in Mildura around 6.00pm. All caches we attempted were found, apart from the one that was completely burnt out, so all up a good road trip. Now home
and it's time to log.
Thanks to all owners the along the way, and apologies for the generic log.

As we neared Ouyen, we noted there was a series based on the film of Tom Hanks. We both enjoy Tom Hanks films, so we decided to see what these At The Movies With Tom Hanks caches were like. We guessed correctly again, right down to the brand. We appreciate that the caches along the Calder Highway are located near a safe place to park. It did look like the cache container had gone a dozen rounds with Mike Tyson, but the contents were nice and dry and in good condition. Thank you for this cache Kelligula and RamaTim.
Bonnie, Darcy and Milla our puppy found this treasure on 30th June 2021. Our 3rd ever find. Didn’t take or leave anything this time.

In Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and The Empire.
Today was My last day in Mildura, I finished off any solved puzzles I had to do and a few other caches I passed by, once they were done I followed the Silo Art trail down to Rupanyup and then across to St Arnaud to do the labs there.
Thanks Kelligula for the cache.

Heading back home with Happy feet and we decided to grab a few caches along this side of the road and we soon had this hide in hand after a short search. A truely iconic movie that l must of watched over half a dozen times, many thanks Kelligula and RamaTim for the hide.
After a few huge days in and around Mildura, we started to head home, picking up some finds along the way. There were a variety of finds and some quick park and grabs as we stopped to stretch the legs or take a break.
Pulled over from the busy road and wandered in to find an apropriately themed container.
Thanks Kelligula for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks Kelligula for the cache.

I have actually seen this film a very long while ago and loved it. Thanks for the memories and the cache
After spending the last couple of days traipsing around the Murray Sunset National Park or should I say slip sliding around the wet and muddy tracks with a great bunch of fellow cachers it was time to get back to the bitumen and head towards home.
I passed these ones on the way up so as I had a bit of time I could collect a few more of at the movies with Tom on the way home.
Found somewhere safe to pull over and headed off inland to locate Forrest Gump.
The poor old cache container has had a run in with something big and way out of its league but luckily the internals are all nice and dry.
The has been a bit of earth works in the area some5hing must have disturbed the cache.
Time to head to Ouyen for tonight’s stop over and have a well needed shower and some tea at the pub.

Found, an ex Quality Street Chocolate Tin... we say ex as it’s been run over by a tractor.
It’s tyre marks are still fresh in the red mallee sand, where it has unintentionally backed up and run over it.
We are happy to say, though, that the cache is however, still fully intact.

As I made me way along this oddly named trail,
I had not read any of the cache notes so far [:o]
So I was none the wiser as to the theme of the series
Normal for me
But now that I'm back at camp,

I now am realising what a great series of caches this was [^]
I remember this stop,
and finding the box of you know what's
I chose the cache centred, with a dusty crust one to try first
Careful you don't eat the logbook !! [:o)]

Suscoe was heading to Mildura this morning from Ouyen and we had a number of caches to visit as we travelled northwards.
It was a delightful day, blues skies, a breeze from time to time and a top temperature in the high 20's.
We enjoyed this section of caches hides and saw some interesting country as we headed along the highway and the byways.

Catching up with late logs
We were heading back home after doing the fireworks for the Broken hill show, with no products on board we could now happily stop anywhere we wanted for any caches that popped up.
We would have loved to have done this entire series today but unfortunately time restraints meant that we could only grab a few on this trip which we enjoyed very much, we will return to complete the others.
We think that this would have to one of Tom Hanks most recognizable character, a few of the lines from this movie will carry on for many generations. We smiled when we located the cache container just proving "that life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to find a" and happily we found a cache container with log book that we added our name to .
Many thanks again Kelliqula and RamaTim for the cache. We are again leaving behind a favourite point.
