Checked on this one today, and it's gone. As the box was a custom job, I think I'll let it go.
Damn! Was pretty keen to do this one but started realising fairly quickly that the catche has been removed, unless I was looking in the wrong place but I doubt that..
Really sad I couldn't find this one... I'm hoping it's still there. Had a pretty good idea of where the red box may be hiding but atlas nothing has attached to my spirit.
Border restrictions have eased somewhat, so we're on our way to visit grandies. Quick find. TFTC
I found lots of caches on a roadtrip holiday up to Byron Bay. Over the course of the week, I targeted a variety of caches that worked towards different statistic-based goals. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this fantastic recreational activity.
Made a quick find with the use of good coordinates and a helpful hint. Thanks!

Alstonville staying at the showgrounds
Today we planned to head to Byron Bay a bit of sightseeing & of course some geocaching.
Quickly found with the good hint. I took the geocaching night lanyard from the container. My NZ one was getting quite grotty.
Left a TB here.
We are sure we have cache amongst the large trees on the opposite side of the road.
The beach front & the shopping areas were packed with tourists. The other thing we soon learnt was that you must pay for parking every where. This town is definately for the young people.
Thanks for placing this cache MattyRx

Spooky stuff! Found by the little Geocacher- he's better than me these days at getting into the nooks and crannies.

Friday. NyssaFlutteryby and myself were heading down south of the border to collect some really great caches and Nyssa told me that I must pick this one up! Who am I do disagree! Loved the cache writeup and fingers crossed Dybbuk didn’t attach itself to me afterwards! A FP fell out of my pocket into the cache container as I got up to leave
This was the 6th of 10 caches found on this outing.
Thanks **MattyRx** for bringing us here

DreamerSkye and I decided a last minute road trip for my 40th birthday was in order. So we packed the car and headed over the border, destination Byron Bay!
A short rest was needed after the long drive. While DS was catching up on her phone, I was scouting for our next cache. This one stood out so I opened the cache page. Haha! Perfect I showed it to DS and her reaction was..... JUST NO! Great let’s get going then
I knew exactly where we were headed having found the previous caches on this lane. Personally I love the big beautiful trees but as we drove up the road DS was getting the creeps and telling me she wasn’t getting out of the car. Haha! I had to remind her she promised to come geocaching with me and actually go to GZ.
Finally, armed with her phone for evidence of the evil that may emerge, she headed to GZ with me stating “If we get attacked by a demon, I’m blaming you!”.
We started hunting about looking for what the hint suggested and DS was the one to spot it. There was no way in hell she was retrieving the box though.
We took the box over to the grass and just in case I invoked all good spirits to join us for protection And then....
Nothing like a good scream when opening the cache to scare the bejeebies out of your teenage daughter! Insert evil laughter!
I don’t think we were cursed but we did have even more fun later that night up at the deserted lighthouse in the pitch dark. I swear something chased us from the shadows It certainly had us running back to the car. Bahaha!
Thanks for fun and the cache MattyRx
Happy to part with a FP for this cache!

Hmmm, weather looking a bit ordinary around the southside of Brisbane & our son mentioned he was heading to Byron for a spot of R & R so south it was ... there has to be sunshine somewhere today, even if we have to go interstate to find it!
#1 of 10 finds today.
Pulled the Geo-Beast to a halt within stone's throw of GZ & as there was the possibility of a curse being involved here I thought it best that Mrs VC do the honours!
She was quick to find the suspect 'box' getting down & dirty & for a moment I thought the curse had attached itself firmly, as she looked to be writhing about a little, but apparently she was just getting into a better position to sign the log. LOL ...
All seems well so far ... made our mark, added a couple of TBs, in an attempt to appease whatever evil spirits may be lurking nearby, & replaced as found.
Speaking of the weather, has anyone noticed that in the news article 'whether' is spelled ' weather?
TFTC MattyRx
We managed to make it back to Brisbane just on dark & all still seems well with Mrs VC ... but she does seem to be turning a strange ashen coloaarrggHHHH!!!

The past 24 hours have been extremely difficult for me due to the loss of Kobe. #24 forever as I'm hitchhiking to Tiaro. TFTC and Kobe
I remember when this was the main route into town, back when I was a kid. Found Chip's cache here a long time ago too.
Cheers

I had found a cache nearby a few years back and turning up here my memory was quickly jogged. Thinking this was just a find for geotild I kept driving toward the wrong GZ. With her corrections I did a u-turn and parked nearby. Cache was quickly located and our names were in the log. Interesting find and TFTC MattyRx
Caching takes you to some pretty strange places and the reasons for some caches seem to be for the numbers , here is a fine example of a well executed cache from the cache page to the location and the container and log book , love the story behind this cache , gave me the shivers

Needed a traditional cache for today so suggested a game of golf to Mr Rusty85 nearby so this could be claimed today. He could be a lucky man as there will be a few trips I need over December and I think I need to give him a reason to go, golf or a good walk will always do the trick and as a lot of good walks are out because of the fires, looks like it has to be golf. I was a little worried when we pulled up as a guy had just got out of his car and was wandering around, lucky we went to the other side of him and made a quick find, he was just admiring the hall. TFTC.
Quick easy find thanks to a great hint, what a lovely old hall lovingly restored. Tftc.
I used to play at this hall as a kid. Brings back so memories. I also had a cache in the figs a few years back before it was muggled. TFTC

Another quick find as I hesitate near the highway before getting the week underway. This one somehow I had not seen published till now. I recall finding a cache in a nearby tree which I never logged so perhaps I thought it was the same listing. Nonetheless, after realising its a newer listing I briefly stopped in at the good ol ewinsdale hall in order to see what was what.
For what is essentially a park and grab, I really appreciate the effort by the CO here, melding the theme throughout the listing and of course the stash itself. makes it a lot more fun. The scariest part for me is that mattyRx seems to have an inexhaustable supply of unique containers, and unique places to stash em. Top effort from a top local cache creator. cheer cheer!

Only had time for a quick look as non-geo husband was waiting for me. Oh well, next time!
Nice quick find, and a lovely container. Hopefully, the spirit that has attached to my soul likes caching Travelling home to Brisbane from Coffs Harbour completing the mystery at the museum as I go. TFTC MattyRx!
Out on a road trip with the goal to reach a milestone find before dark. This was the first hunt of the day.
I had not looked at the cache page until I did my log.
A favourite point for this one. [^]

Out driving with mrs Ferguson today, after reading about the container I let her open it while I was the decoy looking at the sign, mind you,I sometimes wonder if she had the original box. TFTC
Found with Beezy73. It was a debate to see who was brave enough to open the box. TFTC a definite fave
Stopped here as we were heading back home for a second try - didn't really have a lokk earlier in the day as there appeared to be a gathering at the hall. Finally found the hint and soon had a well constructed cache in our hands. A FP MattyRx for all the effort you have put into this hide.
I was traveling from my parents in the Tweed Valley to Coffs Harbour for a work meeting. They had a medical appointment so after morning tea I was on the road by 11:30. I had three goals today - all of which were achieved. Get 12 caches to get me to 2000 (it is a game of numbers really); extend my caches further east; and finally get my maximum number of "counties" greater than 4 (I had calculated that I could get 6 today). Had a rough plan and got a few extra to add, so in the end got 16 caches of 3 types (plus a couple of unregistered DNFs) and got the 6 LGAs and arrived before dark. Not certain I will get any more in Coffs tomorrow, but also picked up a couple of TBS as well (always a nice bonus).
When I plugged in the one at Byron before I headed north and so it was a nice little bonus that this was back along the road onto the freeway. A 2TF was also a bonus - surprised others hadn't picked up (No Tomorrows note in the log book was very appropriate for this cache). What a beautiful little spot - so much nicer than the disaster area of Byron Bay. Parked car in the turn around and wandered over - GPS was a little out though the hint helped (though I actually thought there was a spelling mistake and could have been looking for something else!). Log found and signed. So far nothing bad has happened, but may only be a risk for teenagers which in my case was well into last century!

I was heading home from a weekend up on the Sunshine Coast and I received an email for a new cache near home. And it was only meters off route. But it was getting late when I approached the location and the description had me wary.
Thankfully it wasn't quite dark yet when I arrived at GZ so I didn't need to set the swag up in a circle to see where to sign my name. As soon as I had my name signed a couple of cars pulled up and muggles got out to wander around talking wedding plans with a photographer. I couldn't return the cache to it's well positioned home. Sadly, because I didn't know how to summon the resident Dybbuk to scare them away, I had to pretend to take photos and wait till they moved out of sight before returning it.
I took an antique night light to protect myself from the Dybbuk and left an irritating circle toy (at least I think thats what I left - I really shouldn't update logs so long after finding the cache).
I love the effort you put into this cache creation - the box, the description, the swag. Love it all. Thanks for another awesome MattyRx cache.
