Today we thought we would try our luck here. As previous log mentions the puzzle component is missing. However after watching many YouTube videos by LPL In the past we were able to access the logbook and sign our team name in.
Thanks relleza84 for the placement.

First field challenge! Loved this one, took a bit of thinking but got there in the end! TFTC!
Had to go back to camp and think about this one, was a little tricky to figure out. Enjoyed this cache, TFTC
Wow
Fantastic
The best I have ever seen or done
You are a genius to come up with this

WOW. This one earns a fav from us. We got to GZ and met some fellow catchers trying to nut out this puzzle. (Cheers Kevy and Shazzy) Then the skies opened up and left us scarpering (and scratching out heads). Back at the caravan park we sat pondering this conundrum trying to work out what the "weight" has to do with it. With an idea in our heads, it was back to GZ to give it another crack... BINGO. Log signed. TFTC
As we walked towards this cache we didn't know what to expect. Finding the cache container was not a problem. As we assembled the components of the field puzzle, some early studies of physics came to mind and we pursued that idea. We soon had some data which we were able to use to access the logbook. The cache and contents were in good condition. This was a great field puzzle, one of the best we have ever tackled. Thanks relleza84 for this memorable caching experience - it earns s favourite from us.

We ran out of time yesterday to perfect the solution, then of course there was a lot of waiting around overnight as our brains processed the finer points of the puzzle. A PAF call confirmed we were on the right track.
How could anyone not give this cleverly designed and constructed hide a FP?
If this is the first relleza84 field puzzle just what is in store for us next!!
Our thanks to 'relleza84' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

A late night drive over to Horsham for something to do.
I have been here before quite some time ago but I could not get access to the cache. A message to the CO back then OMG I was only 1 number off. So tonight armed with the info needed I managed to make short work on the cache. Mind you the walk in was quite the long one... never less my name has now made it in the log.

Day 293
After an hour I finally figured it out! This was really fun and it’s so satisfying figuring something out
Another fun weekend assault on Victorian caches with Trigger_Fish where many caches were found, many miles were covered in the geomobile and some miles were walked.
Definitely worth a favourite point!! It took us a short while to work out the field puzzle but we got there in the end. As one of my former bosses used to say 'most excellent'!
Thanks for the well constructed cache relleza.

What a great cache, we read 'field puzzle' and had no idea what to expect. We were so pleased that it was a puzzle that did not have us tearing our hair out.

Found with Let Them Eat Cache (which will now be our joint geocaching name once I retire this membership). On our way to Adelaide, picking up some targeted caches on the way. So glad we found this one. I was a bit worried about a field puzzle; I never know how long they're going to take. But all good here, everything in order & a fairly straightforward puzzle once we figured what was needed. Lots of fun doing this one, so a FP awarded for the diversion from a long drive. Thanks relleza84!
{229} Stopped by the nearby lake for a pit stop & a bite to eat on our way to Adelaide on this New Year’s Day. This is field puzzle heaven, even though flies were in abundance. Most puzzles aren’t this intricate or engaging, so it was very much welcomed to break up the long drive. Thanks relleza84 for the fun. No trackable in cache however ️
Favourite point from us. Day 91 of our trip. Caching along the way. In Horsham today. A total of 16 for the day and 2586 for the trip. TFTC
Day 11 of our epic trek to the St Arnaud Mega via Geelong and return via wherever the caches are.
The constant was my travel companion for the entire trip, - AnyMules but we were joined by other cachers in our travels.
With the Mega event finished we continued caching around Bendigo where we were based for a few days. The GPS died and was trying to learn this app as we cached.
After a night at Horsham we are headed back over the border to be home by tonight.
The short walk was accompanied by a thousand flies. Trying to do the weights whilst swatting the now two thousand flies was problematic. We got three correct to start and all correct second try. A Great field puzzle worthy of a FP. A thousand flies apparently weigh the same as one washer!
Thanks for putting out this cache for our enjoyment.

Awesome cache.
Twelve months ago as we finished the Parkville Mega we were advised by someone that the next Victorian Mega event would be held in Saint Arnold. Somebody else told us that the Mega event would be held in Saint Arnood. And then another said that Saint Arned was the Mega event venue. Who should I believe? Struggling to understand the English language at the best of time. Freddo speaks two languages, Australian and Bad English.
Move forward a year. There is a cluster of events, including a MEGA event, at this town called St Arnaud burning a hole in my GPSr. The big white Pay Hero is loaded with GPSr, TOTT and camping gear and we headed east with a collaboration of like minded South Australian colleagues. DavidWazza, e.gregory1, Featherwaite, freddo and Gridge98 make team DEFF98.
Thursday: 5am event at a bakery in North Adelaide. The bed wetter team meets and says that this is way too early. Travel 500km east for the Thursday evening event. Freddo gets a prize. I am no mug. Camping in the bush under the stars.
Friday: Up early and headed out on the trails. And then back to our campground for a CITO! I am sure we did not make that much mess last night. More trails and 200 caches find for the day including a cluster of caches where freddo left DNA. More bush camping after a great meal in the Sporting Club.
Saturday: Up early for an event. Who puts an event on at 8am. Damn South Australians that’s who. After the event it was back on the trails and the Pay Hero is getting dustier and dustier. Found some awesome caches. Freddo the metallurgist was very impressed with the welding. Quality fabrication. And then another CITO. This time at the dump. Plenty of rubbish here. Some of it good stuff. Can I take some home? And finally a giant queue for a free meal. Nothing attracts a crowd like a free meal. The moment of the evening was receiving a Hall of Fame nomination. That prize is going straight to the pool room.
Sunday: Another night camping in the bush. Some fabulous night caches walks were undertaken. Night caching is a special form of entertainment. We spent the day cruising around picking up the left over unfound caches and meeting heaps of new friends. Boycotted the GIFF event since it did not show the freddo film “Cache Confusion” https://vimeo.com/372568752. One minute and forty four seconds of your life you won’t get back. A quick speech and it was back on the road for home. Well Horsham. More camping. This time by a river.
Monday: Caches around Horsham and following the Duke’s Highway back to Adelaide. Time for a shower for this smelly geocacher. An exhausted chocolate frog slept well.
We came, we cached, we ate, we slept; repeat for five days of fun and dust.

Found during a trip to St Arnaud to attend the 2019 Victorian Mega event. The weekend was spent primarily with e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo, and gridge98 as we geocached around the vicinity of St Arnaud. All of the events and CITOs were attended, we completed the available adventure labs and lab caches available at the showgrounds, many of the creative trails were gasped at their construction, and interesting puzzles were solved and collected during the weekend.
We all left on Thursday in two separate cars, and met up at the evening event, before finding a camp spot for the night in a very CITO location. On Friday, we targeted the StARS (St Arnaud Ramble Series) and the higher quality, well-constructed geocaches that were famous here in St Arnaud, and got lucky with the 2019 published series that we managed to snag FTFs on. Sunday had us continuing to find the other sets of high-quality caches around the neighbouring town parks, the challenge series, before spending a few hours at geocaching HQ participating in the labs that had been published. The event was also great to see some of the South Australians honoured with geocaching life awards (in amongst everyone on the list). Our final day, Sunday, had us do a big loop finishing off our geocache collection, driving all the way out to Kooreh and around via Stuart Mill, walking the conservation park at Mount Gowar, and finishing off at the GIFF event. A massive weekend that turned out to be a great mega! Thanks to all those who organised the Mega and the associated events. The variety between the local high-quality caches, the new series placed by the mega team, and those who needed to be around for the labs and main centre fielding questions was appreciated immensely.
Today was our final day of travels as we headed back from Victoria to Adelaide. Freddo, gridge98 and I had camped nearby in Horsham, and our plan was to find a variety of geocaches around the town that neither one of us had found before (despite the others' regular commutes through here). A few were found along the river, and a few drives in/out of the township, before a refreshing swim to *Pelican Paradise* Island for a geocache retrieval. It was then a drive back across the border, with a bakery lunch in Bordertown, and few geocache placements as we briefly stopped in a few small towns.
This geocache was found during our start in Horsham. We had heard good things about this geocache from another Adelaide Geocacher, and the cache had certainly lived up to expectations. A nice and robust field puzzle that we quickly worked out, and from there, the cache was extracted. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks relleza84 for placing and maintaining this awesome cache! Favourite Point from me!

Today Freddo, Davidwazza and myself set off to find some caches around Horsham before making the long drove back to Adelaide.
A fav point added, a very well constructed field puzzle
What a big trip this was! I headed over to St Arnaud for the 2019 Victorian mega with e.gregory1, Davidwazza, Featherwaite and Freddo for the long weekend.
The weekend was filled with a lot of finds ranging in puzzles, a few events and some very well constructed hides around the area.
Day 1: I headed over with e.gregory1 and featherwaite, with the aim to collect some unfound LGAs for the guys, with only a 500km drive to the mega from home we added an extra 450km to the trip by going over to Bendigo and further south exploring some regional towns, overall we added an extra 6 LGAs with only 18 finds for the day. Was great to see some of the interesting little towns and what they had to offer for future visits.
Day 2: As a group we hit the trails in St Arnaud as a group signing the logbooks as DEFF98 (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, Freddo, featherwaite and gridge98) to save a lot of room in the logbook. We started off with the geoart Stars and thought it would take most of the day, as we finished it in 2.5 hours we were a bit surprised so hit the well constructed caches in the south of the town in the bush throwing a CITO in the mix. All the caches were amazing and something you don’t see anywhere else. Adding in 15 FTFs along the way with: everlasting, crank1 and Pwola. The evening settled in and we headed into town for a buffet dinner and a catch up with some familiar faces.
Day 3:
After attending the GV2020 event for the morning we set off to hit the last of the trails left in town of the metal containers, followed by the challenges for the mega as well as quite a few trads around the back roads. We ended the day by having a go at the lab caches at the mega then off to the CITO. I don't think I have ever seen so mant people at a tip before. Topped off the day with an evening event.
Day 4: By today the town was almost cleaned out and only a few caches to find, so we did the last few caches within a rough 15km radius driving around finding the odd cache here and there. The GIFF was finished off the mega so we decided to head to Horsham for the evening.
Day 5: After leaving our camp site for the morning, we cached for the morning around Horsham collecting a few grads and a well earned swim. Then made the long drive back home to Adelaide.
Thanks to all the COs for their cache placements and the Geocaching Victoria crew for organising a fantastic weekend away.

Day 2 Natimuk to St Arnaud
Well that was fun to solve. and not hard at all. fav point.
Came over to the 2019 mega in St Arnaud with Mogni. We where joined by jj52, Aussie M and M plus others at different times over the mega weekend. Many caches where found over the course of the 8 day trip. Targeting multi's on the way there and back plus the challenge trail in Mount Beckworth reserve. The creative trails around St Arnaud where the highlight of the trip.

What a wonderful field puzzle. Took a few minutes to work out what was required but soon had the required data and the cache was freed. TFTC and a favourite from me
Found during a visit to Horsham for the week. Really enjoyed solving the field puzzle, not quite sure what to do at first but with enough subtle clues to steer one in the right direction. A favourite point awarded for the clever construction and entertaining solution. Thanks for the fantastic cache relleza84!

On way home from Melbourne heading back to SA after attending our Nieces wedding been a long few days TFTC
We headed out after dinner as the sun was setting for this hide and took very little with us... and didn't read the description before going...
When we arrived we were treated with a great find, just our sort of cache, but light was most gone and the wind was freezing, lucky we brought a torch.
After putting our heads together we soon had some likely numbers after a few attempts we were able to get the log with ease.
TFTC
A favorite point for both the location and the build with the added challenge at the end this ticks all the boxes for us.

Suscoe's second day of caching in Horsham and the countryside around this region.
Another brilliant Winter's day.
Sunshine all day with a breeze from the north. The car said 17 was the top temp but it felt warmer at times.
Quiet locations for the caches that we visited and lots of fun as we wandered the back roads of this region.
Thanks to relleza84 for this field puzzle gadget cache.
We visited here yesterday, and we sorted out what we needed to do but the lock would not open.
We emailed the CO who confirmed our puzzle solving was correct.
So we headed out this morning for another attempt but still no luck with the lock.
So a second email was sent and the CO who went out and fixed the lock during the day.
On our way back to Horsham we stopped by here and gained access to the log book at last.
We appreciate the work put into the cache and also the prompt replies and maintenance.

I went with different people this time. We were pretty sure we solved it but it still wouldn't open!
Found the puzzle container but didn't have the time or patience to try and solve in the drizzle
Brought the kids out for a little wander... Found the cache easily and at first thought it had been tampered with and broken. We quickly worked out the system for solving the cache but got snagged on one. After a little nudge in the right direction from the CO we were in and signing the log. A fantastically made l thought out and constructed cache - loved it, and well with a fave point.
