We walked past here this morning so instantly recognised the spot, only a few minutes from our hotel. So Mr KE popped back this evening while Mrs KE drove the laptop. That's me holding up the pole. TFTWC.
We were visiting Calgary on an overnighter to Vancouver and thorougly enjoyed our stay. We stopped by this webcam though the pic from the webcam isn't too good... i have therefore included some others from on the ground at the site. Thanks for the cache. Cheers.

Was able to grab this one while in town on business from Charlotte, NC. First time I've ever seen an outdoor Zamboni in action. Thanks!!!
Got this with the help of my somewhat reluctant partner. He did agree it was preferable to the help he provided keeping me from drowning while I attempted GCQFX8 a couple of days ago. Thanks for setting this up; it was fun.
Finally got around to snagging this one, it's been on my "To do" list for far too long.
I called my daughter Lauren up and had her set things up picture capture-wise. Very begrudgingly she agreed to help - "Hey Lauren, about that gift of life? You're WELCOME!"
Waited for a few minutes while the camera swung from City Hall to Olympic Plaza. Some tourists, numerous cameras in hand, started to hover around me and I was worried that I'd be lost in the picture - thankfully they moved to my right under the green metal structure ( you can still see on in the pic ) and the picture snapped one of me all alone, hand on hip, talking on the phone!
Thanks!

We found the angle of the camera and location changed this morning. Mrs redrouge and redrouge senior were guided by redrouge to the location for the picture, via cellphone. Thanks redrouge, good job!
We finally had everything working tonight at the cache site. Last time we arrived a few weeks ago our cell phone company's network was out of order, but tonight success. Just a quick note that it appears that the web cam takes the picture about 15 - 30 seconds before the web refresh or update. Great spot in the heart of downtown. TFTExperience!
We grabbed our trusty laptop computer and headed downtown to snag this webcam cache that's been on my list for ages. This one was a bit of a covert mission. Yours truly drove around the two blocks near Olympic Plaza until I found an open hotspot the laptop could connect to. Got one!! With a questionably legal parking job, I left Cap'n Cache with the laptop and instructions to snag the photo as soon as he saw me in the frame. I hoofed it the two blocks to the cache site and stood there as long as I dared while a couple of people were obviously wondering what the heck I was doing. Worried about my iffy parking job and the stares from passers by, I held on another minute and made it back to the geobuggy without incident. "Did you get it?" I asked my son. "Yep!" he smugly replied. Ahh, finally. TFTC.
12:21pm The hardest part about this is to find someone that is behind a computer to snap the picture when you are there. Hi Mom. Kind of fun! Need more of these in Calgary. People wonder what you are doing standing there, smiling up at a building at lunch time. Good way to get some excercise between meetings. Thanks!!
Quickly flipping through the logs, I couldn't find anyone else who has driven right to the picture spot.
It was quiet downtown this morning, with very few people around. So I pulled in, and parked. Mrs_geer got the snap. That's me stading beside my little red truck. Then the guy in the Calgary Parks truck asked if I could move my vehicle. I said, "Yep! I'm done here!". Quick and dirty. Thanks!!

I had been meaning to do this one for a long time. Today I was talking to my friend Bryan, he was home and I had nothing to do so today was the day! Kinda cool and windy out but still better than being at work. Snapped a webpic and off I went. Thanks!!
