This architecture is not often seen in New England, but I hope you can accept the Alamo Restaurant as a Rememberance.
Visiting Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, and +1 reminded us there was an alamo replica here. Photo will be uploaded as soon as we get to +1's house tomorrow and can borrow her USB cord to upload the photo. Thanks for the cache.
An Alamo reminecient facade can be found at Wickham Hall on the Campus of Pikeville College in Pikeville, KY. USA.

Mission Architecture Home
Chestnut Hill
Boston, MA, USA
We have encountered no shortage of difficulty in trying to locate an example of mission-style architecture in New England! However, finally today, while on a whirlwhind locationless caching tour through Boston, we located this home on Chestnut Hill that features mission architecture imitative of the Alamo.
Thanks for the cache!

This is the train station in Berkeley, California. I was passing over the tracks when I glanced down and saw it.
This building is in Missoula, Montana. How the southern style got here I have no clue - but here it is. This is located at Fort Missoula and is used as a state/federal building for offices (I think).
This building is the office for an cement company. Located in West Frankfort Il.
This was a great place to stay in Terlingua Texas... makes a perfect jumping off point for Big Bend. The Hotel is the El Dorado, which look like the Alamo, according to the owner: Art. Another thing about the El Dorado, it gets 2 channels on the TV. Those 2 channels are fed to the rooms by Art through his satellite dish... the neat thing (maybe it's neat) is that the channels you watch are whatever Art is watching! No choice! I call it Art-TV. Strangely voyueristic, mostly CBS!
Found this building while searching for caches in the little town of Winters, CA. The building is abandoned right now.
Found this one today without looking for it. Went to the stockyards here in Fort Wort, Texas... the only remaining stockyards in the US. The stock exchange building has the alamo style to it as well.
This is Walter Hall Pavilion in League City, TX. The original wa build back in the 30's, burned down in the 70's and rebuilt carrying the same "Alamo" theme.
I use to live near this home in Enid,OK. They have a tennis court out back. I always thought it reminded me of the old churches of Mexico.
I had no idea these were locationless until our friend Muirwoody pointed one out. There are quite a few here in Indianapolis, IN. This one looked vacant to us.

I didn't know this was a locationless until muirwoody told us. Then I remembered this house. I lived on this street fifteen years ago. It used to be white with light blue trim and looked much better.
Now I notice every alamo structure that I pass.
That is the beauty of locationless caches.

I found this one by chance and “Remembered the Alamoâ€. Out east of my hometown of Rockwall is this new structure with a flavor from the San Antonio mission of more than a century ago. It is now the new location of the “Spirit Energy†company.
I was stuck in traffic at a light where I often sit. Then I looked at the building across the street in a new way and suddenly saw an echo of the Alamo in this building located in San Anselmo, California.
Jerry hates when I see a locationless. I usually yell for him to stop or if I am driving, slammed on the brakes or do a U-turn. Were caching and drove through Elk City in Oklahoma. This was on Main near 5th street. Couldn't find date on building and is now vacant. But sign in window shows it was the Branson Tractor company.
Found this Alamo Look-Alike in Lancaster, SC. It's the Armadillo Cantina and Grill ... Texas Roadkill!
Concord, CA - Salvio Pacheco Square, across from Todos Santos Park
When I first saw this 'Locationless', I thought, "Where am I gonna find an 'Alamo' type building in Northern California?". In fact when I ran the Locationless Proximity Analyzer, it says no logs within 25 miles.
Well, 'Mina, HandyAndy and I were out for a stroll in the downtown plaza a week or so ago, and we strolled through this plaza. Ah-hah! There's my Alamo! I returned yesterday, camera in one hand, GPSr in the other!
Checked with Locationless Proximity Analyzer.

This old schoolhouse, built in the early 1900's, was nicknamed the Alamo for decades. Of course we had to claim this for the locationless. The funny thing is that later on, when we went for gelato in another nearby city, we were parked right near 3 old buildings that also had the Alamo (or locally, Mission style) of architecture.
This building in downtown Colorado Springs is one of the earliest in the city ... 1870s. Named "The Alamo" it was certainly inspired by it's Texas cousin.
We found this Adobe House a little north of Wichita, Kansas.

Can't really see it but all the local paintballers call it the Alamo, its got a fence surrounding it for a hurdle when on a paintball charge, much as the original Alamo.
Lytle Land & Cattle resturaunt in Abilene, TX. This place has won the awards for best steakhouse and resturaunt in Abilene for 4 years in a row. It sure is good!
Found this Alamo-like home near Conneaut, Ohio. Made my son do a U-turn when I noticed this as we were driving by to find a cache. Thanks!

Seguin, Texas
Drove by this this morning. It is the Texas Theater built in 1929 and opened in 1930. It is closed now and I have never seen it open as long as I have lived here. I really wish I could have looked inside. The sign outside says it is one of the few remaining classic theaters of the 20's. The inside looks like an open air theater with a star studded, sky blue ceiling. The original seating was 500, but the respaceing of seats in 1968 rendered a capacity of 300. The exterior remains unchanged. In the 1st photo, my GPS is in the bottom corner. The 2nd photo is a close up of the detail above the pillars, that is Alamo like. TFTC!

4490 North US-1
Palm Coast, FL 32164
This shopping center is located in Palm Coast along US-1 next to the African American Cultural Center. Is was recently built so there were no signs with the name of the plaza. No businesses occupy the building yet either. Gotta love that beautiful Florida coral color!

While driving through the rustic north valley of Albuquerque, NM we spotted this building which surely reminded us of the Alamo. Turns out it is the Casa Rondena Vineyard, a distinguished wineyard from New Mexico.
Hump in the middle, recurve sides, verticals, horizontals, notches, central door, symetrical windows; yep they all fit the Alamo model. Veranda; that is Australian. Port Adelaide, South Australia.
