Another straining of eyes at the totally accurate coordinates, but nothing to be found.
Roadtrip time, day 7.
I have used the Easter weekend combined with taking 4 days leave this week to get in a 9-day driving tour, hoping to get as far north as 90 mile beach in order to seek the recently published PWGT caches throughout Northland, as well as catch up with 4 different sets of friends.
I had spent last night at the campground in Waipu, and today was looking to head over to the west coast of Northland and then onto 90 Mile Beach. I didn't know it as I started my day, but by tonight I will only have gotten as far as Opononi after a very full days caching.
This effectively a quick park n grab for me today. I had no trouble parking close to GZ and walking over to search for the cache, which was an easy find thanks to the helpful Hint.
I encountered no issues with either the container or the log, which was swiftly signed before the whole lot was replaced exactly as found.
Thanks for setting up and maintaining this cache.

Heading out on a 4wd trip today, but am a little early, so decided to grab a cache on the way. TFTC
Spending a few days around Dargaville exploring this coast. Stayed in Aranga and went out for an early morning walk. Quick find. Few Kingfishers were out looking for breakfast. Thanks
Just on dark coming home from our beach. No worries. A beauty sliver of a moon tonight
Away in the Geocamper for a couple of weeks doing TMGT's and other stuff. After overnighting in Dargaville and finding the new caches there we are now on our way north to Kaikohe. Another for Mrs S although Mr S spotted it from the geocamper. There is a lot of water lying around up here, must have had some rain lately.
Thanks for another smilie on the road north butchie bum.

Now I am off following in the tyre marks of "Little Toot" a bit belatedly. With the forecasted showers making the gravel roads a tad muddy my once blue cachemobile, which already has a thin coating of brown, will hide the blue a bit more. But like "Little Toot" I loved back country roads as well.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
We enjoyed all these caches in these series that you have up here - its a very nice area and we liked staying up there - we will be back for more caches in the future.

Another quick find here at the crossroads. Got our bearings and headed off to the next one, TFTC
Set off early this morning for a well earned caching trip with my buddy and navigator at my side to get as many of these new caches that I could find. The day dawned bright and sunny so we set off to the wop wops in the trusty geo mobile. Interesting trail this. TFTC.
Out on a road trip today to collect the new caches in the area. After looking at the other three corners I eventually found the cache on the last corner I searched. TFTC
Decided to do the round trip with the kids and get a few more of the caches up this way. Our first for the day. Cache quickly located and signed. TFTC
As Murphy's Law would have it, I had a sporting event in Marua this morning, so was 30 km east of town when several new caches were published over on the West Coast in Dargaville and points north from there. By the time I got back to town, it was nearly midday and I was sure that Nicholson Family would have already got the FTF on some of them.
However, just after midday a couple more were published north of Dargaville, so I umm'd and ahh'd for half an hour at least, before deciding it might be worth making the dash west to try for a least one or two FTFs.
It was nearly 1:00 by the time I left Whg, but the grotty local weather soon cleared and from Mtpe onward was actually quite pleasant, so I made good time and arrived at this one at 2:33. After successful FTFs on #4 and #2 back down the road, I approached this one with a lot more confidence. The cache was quickly located, and when I opened the log, it too was blank, so yes, I was FTF here as well. Very pleased about that and makes # 97 for me.
