Thanks for the awesome catchI had a lot of fun climbing the tree however did get a lot of bark stuck to mePut in a little pink bracelet in for the next person!!
Found on my bday with Demogorgon519. BDAY CACHE! young butcherbird sang for us the whole time we were there. TFTC!
When I first noticed this cache I came to check it out and concluded that I could do the climb but I would need something to help me get up into the tree. I have driven past it hundreds of times since but never with the right TOTT. Today I was on a mission to retrieve another tree cache and I realised I would be driving past this one with what I needed. So I stopped and walked down the road with my big ladder, set it up and got to climbing. There was in fact too many branches on this one and manoeuvring through them all was the hardest part. It was higher than I expected but I felt quite safe and stopped at the top for a bit to enjoy the great views. The descent wasnt too hard either with plenty of branches to hold on the way down. Thanks for the fun cache _TeamChappy_!
I do enjoy a good tree climb and this one was fun. Plenty of branches to use and a good view from the top.TFTC
#7727 Found after a 15m climb up on Mt Coot-tha. A nice change from the ropes and harnesses. This one was missing last time we were in town, thanks for maintaining.....Thanks for the cache!
#7727Were up in Brisbane for a few days visiting my grandparents, so in between being at home and other various activities, we have time to do some caching! We have our full range of TOTTs with us, so were targeting those caches. end of copy paste A fun climb after completing one of the TTCs up Mt Coot-tha. A fun climb with a tricky start. TNLN SL, sorry for the slightly scrawly name too! Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache _TeamChappy_
After climbing this one in 2020 as a muggle Im finally back as a cacher to sign my name into this logbook. Unfortunately the previous cacher in the tree apparently never replaced the contents as found; as I opened the container I grabbed the plastic bag & watched the log paper dislodged from another part of the container and watched it descend onto the traffic below.Again somebody hasnt respected the CO. I descended the tree to the road to play wheres that log, with the cars waiting at the lights at the top of Coopers Camp Road. After finding in the gutter of the bus lane I climbed up to return the cache better than I found it.Surely people can STOP and take a moment to return a cache in a better way than they found it I know, Im dreaming.
After spending the weekend at Alexander headlands We returned after lunch, got through our admin of life and unpacked. My wife thinks me crazy but I suggested I might pop out for a bit of caching. Can you ever stop she replies. I think she then thought about it and acknowledged my ADHD tendencies and off I went.I parked the car and ventured off, soon finding ground zero and sighting the end prize. It wasnt long before I had the log in hand and mark was made. I returned the cache safely to its resting place and off to the next prize.Very glad to have this cache under my belt.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
A change in plans saw Peppa and I make our way to Brian Burke Reserve and then tackle some tree climbing caches as we round-a-boutly made our way home.
I had no idea there was a cache here. I’ve driven past this little patch of grass many times but always on the way to or from somewhere so haven’t looked at the caching map.
The cache was soon spotted right up top, so with a boost from Peppa I began the climb. Glad for many branches as it made things easier. Log signed and it was good to be back on the ground.

Davinells and I had a plan… due to a friend being incapacitated(don’t get old) we found our own fun today….
Targeting caches that required a special skill set or one of the many tools in the boot of Renaldo we made our way from Samford through the Western burbs back home…
I’ve driven past here so many times always saying “one day”… today with Davinells this was a must do… I did the hoisting… Davinells did the climbing…
Thanks _TeamChappy_

Went to find this catche with a friend but I only a couple of mins to find it so I had to stop .
I made a special trip to find this one today as it met the requirements to get me one step to completing a challenge. With Mr DisSister, we sussed out the climb before I hoisted him up into the tree. The climb after that was nicely achievable and he soon had our name in the log. Pleased, but also a bit disappointed, that nothing mysterious happened to us while we were here in the triangle. Unless we’re now in an alternate universe and just haven’t realised it yet, of course. Thanks _TeamChappy_
Cache remains disabled due to rain damage. GZ also remains unsafe to access due to overly wet conditions.
Once we're out of iso and the rain stops, this little fella shall be reinstalled ASAP!
Just a quick note to clarify that this container is not in fact glass, just spray painted black plastic.
A big day of house inspections with a few finds on the side! Found with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I were attending open house inspections for most of the day, however we managed to find a few geocaches when we had some spare time in between slots. Subsequently, a few geocaches were found in Balmoral and Bardon.
Admittedly, I also ️ . However finding this geocache certainly didn't help with wearing house inspection/auction respectable clothes and casual shoes, rather than some grippy hiking shoes to help to ascend. I thought I would need a boost to get up to the first few branches, but I managed to use my strength to get up, and otherwise it was a friendly and fun tree to climb with plenty of branches. Towards the top, the tree certainly swayed in the wind as I gripped tight and my muscles tightened with not moving. The container type also didn't help, with two hands needing to open the jar, and as others have probably experienced, the tightness of the lid meant that you didn't want to put excessive force to open, only for it to suddenly open and lose all hands and upper body holding the tree somehow. The use of glass was an interesting choice, and perhaps dangerous choice since that string doesn't look like it will last a long time, so perhaps the use of plastics can be considered in the next container revision? Other than that, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks _TeamChappy_ for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It looks to be a shame that a majority of the CO's other ️ geocaches appear to have not lasted and archived over time.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

My 10 yo son climed the tree but lid is on way too tight to access logbook. Here is a pic as proof- spoiler alert.
This was my second ever tree climb and certainly the highest so far. Spotted it from the bottom and planned a route. An excellent climbing tree with lots of strong branches, a decent view too. A bit nerve wracking trying to hold onto the tree while opening the cache container, all while being careful not to drop anything! Loved this one, a favourite point from me.
Finally got round to catching up on my logging.

Thank you! it feels really strange to find this cache on the same day as another during Lockdown!!!
I had just completed my afternoon walk and the geodaughter called and asked if I wanted to get another cache I told her about I could not get without help. She picked me up and off we went to the GZ. A nice big cache spotted and up she went as quick as that. I attempted again to climb too! TFTC
After a week stuck at home, in the current temporary home office, it was nice to come out for a walk on Friday afternoon and get some fresh air. We are missing our outdoor adventures, but these are the times. We had eyed this geocache off sometime before, but decided since we were here today, and with our hand sanitiser and gloves we could make the find.
Mrs Domsky did the honours, while Mr Domsky took a couple of photos for fun. All in all, it was great fun to have the challenge and be outside.
Thanks

Out and about finding caches with Brisslions. After doing some Adventure Labs at Toowong Cemetery, we were headed home. I mentioned that there was a cache in this little park, so it was decided we would stop to check it out. After finding a spot to park the geomobile, we strolled to GZ. The cache was soon spotted. A plan was hatched. I returned to the geomobile and grabbed a useful ToTT. Back at GZ, Brisslions did the honours and was soon addding our names to the log. TFTC
Day 4 of the Easter holidays, after 2 days of kayaking we decided to do some walking and caching. Selva Girls and I pick some caches around the city.
We had lots of fun today. I did 14 caches for this day. 3 mystery, 3 multi, 3 trad and 5 adventures lads.
And for this cache Selva Girls was telling in the middle of green island up top of a tree. We decided to stop and have a look. We check the tree it had lots of branches to use, but only one problem for me. Branches are to high to get a start.
Selva Girls had ladder in the SUV she got that and up I went. Cache signed all good.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TeamChappy TFTC *495* streak. *2963* Finds

I had this cache on my to do list, we parked and walked up to this one, we couldn’t see it from the ground so I made a quick climb up the tree to find this one, the cache was soon spotted as the tree swayed from side to side.
On a holiday to Queensland to meet up with my two younger brothers (JL Rockstar) for a holiday/caching trip, a 4 day adventure that started with some disasters but slowly got better throughout which ended on a high.
Travelling up to tin can bay and Gympie, our to Kilroy and south west out to Ipswich.
Overall a great trip away with a total of 79 finds excluding the almost 50 labs found.
Thanks for the cache and it’s placement.

We actually went out for a different cache today but it was MIA. The dog was thrilled to discover we were going further. He waited and watched while the fun was done. Awesome cache. Thank you.
After an early climb up the Powerful Owl on Mt Cootha this morning, I stopped at this cache for a tree climb on the way home .
A nice climb - the branches certainly felt nice and solid. I dropped my pen whilst unscrewing the container lid. A little disappointed that a container this size did not have a pencil in it. So, down I wen and back up I came.
Many thanks team Chappy

A rare 3 from 3 this morning. This was my second and gee it was quite taller than my earlier climb. Thankfully the branches were sturdy enough and hoping up to branch 1 was no trouble. Clenching an upper branch with my legs, I made the 2 handed grab and sign. Tftc, and a fav from me.
Gee this weeks been a blur...late afternoon run to test the car after car fix with my brother and hubby and we found ourselves here, tot in hand. Yep we looked like nutters. We huddled close to the tree to avoid attention, and even though the wind was blowing this big old tree felt stable and safe as the many branches aided the climb. Great views too, Tftc fav from us.
Wowee. I wonder what people stopped at the lights must have been thinking when they saw a bloke with a ladder crossing the road to that little triangle park!
The TOTT helped me get to the first branch, but then the branches were just like a ladder to climb, with nice even spaces and plenty of strong bits to stand on. Thought I could reach up from where I was and open the container with one hand, but that wasn't happening so I repositioned myself a little higher and it was soon in reach.
Stamped the log and grabbed the TB before doing it all in reverse. That was a fun climb, with plenty of strong branches to hang on to. Adding a fave point

Seff was the sacrificial monkey here, and for once I was quite glad to not have to climb a tree. The westerlies were well and truly blowing, even at ground level, so I contented myself with providing a booster platform for Seff and calling out helpful things like "have you got it yet?!' and "gosh it's windy!". Some dust must have blown in his eye while Seff was up the tree, as by the time he got back to the ground it looked like he was squinting balefully at me. TFTC
On the hunt today with Dez from JezNDez in our quest to find enough caches to qualify for the latest Mystery at The Museum souvenirs. I had finished the hard work with the gems and was now accumulating the last tally of caches while Dez was still searching for certain precious stones. Combining these requirements with other personal caching goals reduced our caching options but this one made the cut.
We this one brought back some bad memories of a recent tree climb up in Toowoomba. With the Westerlies howling, I headed up to GZ, only to encounter even stronger gusts as I was trying to sign the log book. Doing my best impression of a plate being spun around on the end of a stick, I was feeling a bit giddy from the swaying of the tree by the time I managed to reach terra firma again. TFTC

Pprime, La Kedi and I were heading home when we decided to grab this one on the way through.
We parked up and made our way into the familiar little area. We looked at where GZ was. Yeah.. well.. send in the Pprime. Mr Pprime did what Mr Pprime does best and we were soon signing the log. We had found the lid on the ground from memory.. but we soon fixed all that up.

And for our last find on our round trip from Brisbane to Crows Nest for this year’s Rural Safari, we stopped by this one in our way to my place. Snagged an excellent parking spot by a dilapidated house and were soon peering into the branches. P’Prime spotted it first, and as quick as anything, has leapt into the tree and was off! Quite a feat. I doubt I’d have made it to that first branch without aid. It was an easy climb from there, and we soon had the logbook in hand. The lid, however, was missing, so a search ensued on the ground where we soon came up with the requisite piece. Back up the tree, and a well-deserved smile. TFTC, _TeamChappy_.
After checking this one out before, I decided to come back with a ladder.
Made my way up the tree quickly and found the cache. The lid is missing and I could not see it lying on the ground.
Thanks for the fun!

Dora the Explorer! spotted this cache and immediately headed up the tree. I stood on the ground trying to work out where the cache was and could not see it until she started coming back down the tree.
A great tree for climbing however bit of a stretch to the first branch.

Sunday. Last cache collected for today. Just as I was about to go to sleep in the car, Ruzzelz wakes me up asking “how would you feel about a tree climb?” Well, it’d been a long day and I had been up early both today and the day before with a late night in between. So my sleep had been almost nil, but hey – out caching and climbing all day, and I was still in the mood for caching, so “yes” was my reply. We checked out the tree and I couldn’t believe how Ruzzelz ever thought about saying to me to use his knee (which was ok), but then if I needed, to use his shoulder! He must have felt the world on his shoulders when I hoped on! I was trying to be so quick that I got my footing all wrong and had to say – “just a sec!” as I maneuvered myself so that I could get a foothold into the tree. I never knew Ruzzelz had such strength and aplomb – I felt terrible standing on his shoulders! I felt that after the huge lunch I’d had that I must have felt like an elephant, but he never complained. I scooted up the tree in a trice and had the log signed for us. Wonderful climbing tree! Best climbing tree I’ve been in since I started caching!
This was the 9th of 9 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***_TeamChappy_***, for showing us this place.

Returning home after climbing a little higher than this tree I took the opportunity to stop and check out the options at this tree. With Slow Puncture in the car the option of a confident climber was the obvious pick.

T-Tech and I headed out this afternoon for a few fun caches.
This was our prime target, and T-Tech brought his bag of climbing bits, but as we arrived at GZ he knew he wouldn't need them There was the first haul up to the lowest branch, but after that he had no trouble. Hard to be stealthy here at midday, though! Some folk in cars watched as they waited at the lights TFTC, _TeamChappy_.

We have made quite a few trips to this side of town in recent weeks chasing audio puzzles, so it was no surprise that we have driven past GZ a number of times. Today we were chasing trees because they can run very fast.
We crossed the road and stood under a tree looking up in it for a cache. This time my son spotted it which was fortuitous because his mum was not allowing him to climb anything without prior knowledge.
He used some trick manoeuvre to get himself up to the first branch and was probably at the cache in less than 20 seconds. I know the time because that’s how long it takes me to work out how to press the one button on my phone.
It was hard to hear him over the traffic but there were some words I understood. “Great View” and “Favourite Point”. tftc

I've checked in on this one a few times (on the computer), since it was published and knew I had to come and visit. I have to say I am not fond of heights but am drawn to to these caches. Why? a personal challenge I think. Anyway I slipped into a parking spot just over the road and thought I'd check out which tree before actually deciding on the plan of attack. Well, didn't have to work out which tree because as I crossed the road there was this chap busily dusting himself down. It was Teamtinda himself. Our paths cross remarkably often at geocaches. Well he kindly offered to hoist me up to the lower branches but I declined as I don't think he would be too keen to catch me when (or if) I returned. So nipped back to the car and grabbed the magic bag from which a ladder appears at my command. Thought a bit of magic might be good to confuse the mysterious Bermuda Tree-angle. So up I go, quite rapidly actually and I soon find a mystical creature waiting to grant my wishes. "Get me down in one piece please". Did I mention I'm not fond of heights? Anyway I was able to pacify the tree guardian and sign his visitors book. I meant to take a photo but I was too busy hanging on and didn't remember till I was back in the car. A great cache and the climb isn't difficult and surprisingly, considering it's location was muggle free. Cars nearby were too busy watching the lights to notice a silly bugger monkeying around. Nice one TeamChappy.
It’s been a little while between climbs now so it was great to see this one appear, especially on such a well known patch of green. I headed over during a Friday lunchtime and was able to park very nearby.
I couldn’t see anything from the ground but had little doubt where to go! As is often the case, getting up to the first level was the tough bit, but I managed it without drawing blood for once.
Up and up and up... and a friendly critter was waiting for me at the end.
As soon as I had got back down and dusted myself off, another friendly critter appeared in the form of Tricky T. He looked well prepared and up for the challenge, so I left him to it and scooted back to the office.
TFTC which will be fun to point out to people as we go past (which is often).

Well that got the blood pumping. Not difficult, just high. And I had to cling on for dear life at the top while needing two hands to open the thing. Those cars below seemed so far away. Thanks for the cache. *FTF*
